Ahiru is very new to Christmas and only knows a little about it through the Nutcracker but everyone she knows will get a personalized card with a message and a flower-crown.

The only one getting a gift from them will be Frisk, but feel free to give them gifts and watch them struggle to accept it.

( falco has learned about christmas in south sister and i'm pretty sure there's an au equivalent in his homeworld— he'll try and make his gifts for most, and those a little closer will also get a special item from the market or beyond! i'm watching for y'alls tls 👀 )

[Luz loves Christmas since having it in Deerington, so if you know her at all you'll be getting a specific treat from Lysithea's pastry shop and a card with a cute Luz anime avatar wishing you a wonderful season of joy (she knows not everyone celebrates Christmas/is Jewish/might not even care.

Vira-Lorr is a little infamous for hating Christmas due to her first experiences with the holiday in the nightmare (and the fact that one of her best friends is essentially an Ent, so she views the whole Christmas Tree thing with abject horror.).

However, she's calmed down a wee bit from her original warpath (though never ever ask her to explain the holiday. She gets it wrong on purpose). She does get small gifts for her friends for the holiday.

In her case, they're probably pastries or sweets from Lysithea's bakery. Nothing fancy. She probably only does a bigger gift with one or two people who can easily guess who they are. Those would be warm winter clothing items. Scarves, mittens, the like.

Neo totally barely 'gets' the idea of Christmas as a gift giving celebration. She'd probably pick up a small ornament fashioned to look like antlers for members of the RWBY cast (yes, Qrow, she'd send one because she's stubborn), and for Helena, Anna and Ahiru (the latter as an apology).

She's not actively out celebrating, though, cause ya know. Recovery. From being dumb and almost freezing to death while crystallized.

The shrike gift-giving holiday is Generous Night, the last night of the year. Everyone starting six days early puts a crimp in Illarion's timeline!! So:

Late on Christmas day, everyone he knows by name gets a bundle of incense. It's tailored to specific preferences (where known); anyone he knows has a sharper-than-human sense of smell gets (an attempt at) a less noseblinding blend.

Then, on New Year's Eve, a piece of fresh fruit (apple or orange) and a handful of nuts in their shell, all wrapped in bright-colored cloth, shows up.

Everything's signed with his nickname (if he's been given one) or a weird little eye-over-feather symbol (if he hasn't).

if you don't know whether you're on the list: you are. he even bestows some of these on total strangers he happens across. happy holidays!!

For 12th Perigree's Eve, Arthour, Equius' sorta-lusus centaur-omen thing will find a behemoth leaving to jam into his apartment, looking vaguely like a Christmas Tree, but not really. The two of them will remain inside, and Equius will behave sullenly about the cold.

He probably sends something to Dirk and Karkat, on principle. It is almost certainly ... uh...

Ok, it's NOT A TOWEL. He draws them something he'd think they'd like. Likely a weapon. In fact, if he's so much as spoken to your character once, he draws them a weapon he thinks fits and sets it to them. Basic stuff. Because arming children is what responsible trolls do on 12th Perigree's Eve.

[Fern learned about Christmas during his time in Deerington, and he absolutely loves the holiday. He goes hard in the gift-giving and has been gradually making more and more of the gifts he gives to people, so expect his orchid mantis omen to show up on your doorstep if you have cr with him, and he has an unironic love of ugly sweaters thanks to Kurt Wagner.

He's a little confused about the Santa concept (a big guy who may or may not be covered in blood breaking into your house) but he still thinks it's cool, too.]

[Ruby learned about Christmas last year and she loves the concept. She might be jumping down peoples chimney’s posing as Santa to get any milk and cookies being left out. But she’s just a gremlin like that.

People are getting knives and bullets as gifts or a more personalized present if she knows them.]

Normally, Varian makes little steampunk knick-knacks for his CR. Unfortunately, at this point, his corruption is getting worse so he's definitely not going to be delivering anything yet. His gifts will arrive at some point in January after he's got over all his corruption and beasthood fun. If your character has positive CR with him, they'll definitely get a lil' something.

Minako will probably be trying to make stuff for Christmas for close CR. Most likely a personalized song or something along with a nice outfit.

Depends on her CR though.

[Despite Christmas being kind of a shit show holiday back in his world due to Santa frequently getting kidnapped and his Dad's hatred of the guy, Zib does care enough about at least getting his CR something small to thank them for their help and kindness during his time here.

In the form of taking pinecones and decorating them to look like mini mothmen... there is also a note that if you are ever in a serious pinch and are carrying mini mothpinecone on hand, twist the head and it will release a smoke that you can use like a smoke bomb to throw at a threat and use as an opportunity to escape!]

Peter himself will not be available for any gift-giving due to being heavily Corrupted and completely mentally unreachable until early January.... Even Paimon will be too zonked out to be capable of making his cursed little demon gifts for people, right now (a pity).

Though Peter can't be reached directly at this point, feel free to assume your character left any presents for him (and/or Paimon) at their house / with Luna / etc. When Peter comes to himself in January, he'll no doubt be reaching back out to give his thanks and maybe actually partake in some gift-giving of his own this time. Of course, it'll be accompanied by a lot of apologising to anyone he demoned out on through December. :')}

Wesker doesn't really 'do' Christmas, not even the secular British Christmas: in his mind, there's far too much commercialization concreted onto a religious festival ironically celebrating a God Who encouraged His followers to help the unfortunate and dispossessed.

But, he's not above offering gifts to his dear ones, in this case, a copy of "A Christmas Carol", following the example of The Tenth Doctor in Deerington.... only these copies will be delivered in the manner of Santa Claus..

Yes, you will have a tall figure in form-fitting black climbing down your chimney and leaving a package on the nearest table or desk...

Dipper’s family is Jewish! But Mabel likes to celebrate e v e r y t h i n g because she is like that, and the Pines are non-religious as a whole so gift giving is free game!

Dipper has been personally kind of wrapped up in corruption and uh. Dying. But at the beginning of December he would have sent out boxes of homemade cookies to cr! Feel free to assume you got one!

Luca is very new to Christmas, but he likes to idea of getting each other gifts! When he hears about it he'll probably scramble to get gifts for everyone, which will mostly be incense since everyone can use that and he doesn't know what else to get people. He might think of a few more personalized ideas, though!

• luna is having a time this December so she'll likely be very late with gifts, if she's able to do them at all. there'll be a lot of home-made gifts because crafting is strangely easier to focus on when ur personal life is falling apart and corruption is eating ur focus :')

Although "Thancred" is inclined to gift people he knows during this time of the year he doesn't really know anybody!

Except Illarion, who gets one (1) tasty and fresh orange, with that sort of sweetness that comes from sitting on a branch in the sun up until very recently. Don't ask where he got it.

And Gaia, who ... also gets an orange. It's a good orange! And a dog toy, in case of future canine encounters.

Over the course of mid- to late-December (amidst The Most Dangerous Game vibes) Midoriya would just ring/text and leave small things from Patisserie Lysitherie at doors like a shy cryptid. He's trying to cheer up people because November was a lot, but he also doesn't want to get caught in a fight. /looks at my rp track record and sweats

Midoriya doesn't know where a lot of people live, and he's not the kind to pry. Many folks won't receive something in time for any holiday, whoops! He didn't know people did holidays other than New Years here, and he's not sure who celebrates what. Some may end up receiving cookies/satsumas/whatever next time they see him in January. (Do oranges exist here?)

THAT BEING SAID, he would absolutely be Santa Deku if someone can't deliver a present themselves. He's no Iida, but he's still pretty fast!
