[Ruby learned about Christmas last year and she loves the concept. She might be jumping down peoples chimney’s posing as Santa to get any milk and cookies being left out. But she’s just a gremlin like that.

People are getting knives and bullets as gifts or a more personalized present if she knows them.]

[Not to be outdone by the gift Saeri gave her for Christmas, the gift that is delivered to Ruby today is in a wicker basket with a note that says: Something for those walks in the wood, Red.

Opening the lid of the wicker picnic basket would find one solitary chocolate chip cookie sitting on top of what looks to be a shimmering fabric. But it's a cloak, flexible and warm, made of a fabric that shimmers back and forth between black and red and looks like it has flecks of glitter. But that's not glitter. It's darkblood dyed right into the fabric. If she looks closely there are tiny runes dyed into it with the darkblood all over the cloak.

She'll find that the cloak is nearly indestructible thanks to all of those protection runes meant to keep her from harm while wearing it.]
