Day to Day Life:

➤ travel around trench up on rooftops, people watching, stalking people, eating, acting like a monkey.
➤ go to her treehouse to chill, sleep, or whatever. every now and then, she goes inside the rookery to be annoying or ask for things if she doesn't have whatever she needs. on fridays, they have family dinner together.

CURRENT PLAN #1: STARTING AS OF RIGHT NOW.

➤ *jinx just started out her business (the clink n' clank) at prufrock. but because her business is fairly new and there's a lot of competition, she needs to find ways to get some footwork. so what she did was bribe a local hunter and convinced him to steal for her at other businesses whatever materials they have and bring it to her. in exchange, she is giving him her shimmer blood which will help him get unnatural abilities (such as: strength, speed, and durability).

what does this mean to you?
if your character is a business owner or a worker of some kind, feel free to notice little by little that your items/materials have come up missing! this is happening all over trench and very very late at night. i'm all up for people spotting some figure in the shadows running away with your characters' business things and what not. i thought this could be a little fund and to add some rumbles within the sleepers and locals!


CURRENT PLAN #2: ALSO STARTING AS OF RIGHT NOW.

➤ a canon mate named caitlyn kiramman (topside_cupcake) recently arrived in trench. caitlyn is jinx's prime enemy of the series. with that being said, jinx is trying to lure caitlyn into a trap and will try to kill her. while she knows that death is not permeant, trust me - that will not stop her from doing it anyway. it's personal and it's the principle of the matter, okay? don't @ her.

how jinx will lure caitlyn is she will be catfishing her whenever she posts on the network. she has created a new username which will be "aoede" and will be communicating with her under that name.

what does this mean to you?
feel free to have your character notice this strange username that they've never seen before in trench. pick up little weird clues since as: this user always reply in text only, only shows up when caitlyn is on the network, and if you try to befriend this user or meet up with this user - they decline the offer every single time or come up with an excuse to why they can not meet up.

Positive CR Desired: Asriel is primarily interested in finding other scientists/scholars/research types to compare notes with. He is not easy to get along with and is extremely bad at feelings and relationships, but I encourage everyone to bother him anyway and see what sticks!

Negative CR Desired: I am extremely open to all flavours of negative CR! He is proud, difficult, and has a horrible temper when pressed, so it's not hard to achieve. I also love, love a good argument/dispute/fight (even if I am bad at writing fight scenes I love a build-up and an aftermath lmao) and never get tired of drama so I am serious let us make some.

Day to Day Life: He lives and works out of Gaze, so if he's in the city, it's probably there. He's hard to miss, given Stelmaria is constantly present unless she's gone off to do something.

Current Plans: He is working on converting a large building into a usable future space that he can live and work out of. Other than that, he is gathering information wherever he can. He is studying blood and blood magic in-depth, and also the Pthumerians, which can surely only lead to good things........

Event Plans:

• Asriel has been off to explore the new city area and has been researching Riteoir and the Pthumerians in general. He has a network post asking about them~
• I sorta handwaved him going along on the whole expedition to the new place, so if you would like to say he tagged along with your character/your character's group I am down to sorting out some handwaved cr for that. He has a lot of experience in the wilderness, so he'd have had that to trade lol
• Asriel is extremely interested in the ritual used to create effigies as well as Riteoir himself. He will be trying to learn everything he can and going down that rabbit hole of research, so if you are looking for hooks, there are many! Asriel is ultimately playing catch-up since he's trying to learn a lot of lore quickly, so he's more willing to get abridged versions from people in the meantime.

I also have Jarchivist Sims, who is steadily helping create a "Sleeper Archive" out past the edge of town. This is an scp archive run by idiots a place where Sleepers can research dangerous corrupting artefacts lore clues without the Pthumerians breathing down their necks.

I think Asriel would be into it and that we should let him touch all the Leitners. Also, Jon is a Deerington vet who can give him the dirt on all the lesser-known NPCs.

hi howdy hello!! I'm very much enjoying fitz's thread with asriel and would be keen to see how future interactions between them go. there are a number of character parallels between these two that I can think of off the top of my head, namely that they both do have animal companions (of a kind) in their original canons that accompanied them to trench, as well as both being fathers to headstrong daughters (and were not particularly involved in the raising of them, oops).

hello, fellow wolf person here 🤝 sansa is also approximately the age of fitz's eldest daughter in his canon, that could be an interesting angle to explore.

also since he's got vileblood and his corruption tends to manifest itself through his wit bond companion, nighteyes, fitz will spend a fair amount of time in sanctuary. that would probably be a good place for them to bump into each other.

also, wrong account, but for jgy, would you be down to assume that jgy did give sansa some of those talismans in exchange for the pint of paleblood for his research?

Positive CR Desired: So Maul at his best tends to act like a grumpy spikey cat with CR he actually enjoys. He's a sucker for people that are legitimately kind and compassionate to him and once you have his loyalty it takes a hell of a lot for him to break it. He gravitates towards characters with a bit of darkness in them, seeing them as kindred spirits, and bizarrely towards cheerful sunshiney types because they tend to see the best in him. He's also a surprisingly good teacher for those of any age, being patient and adaptable to many styles of teaching his students.
Negative CR Desired: On the flip side, he's a cruel and vicious psychopath who will hold onto a grudge for literal decades if you piss him off in the right way. He's blunt to the point of rudeness and doesn't make an effort to get along with a lot of people. He's got a very harsh outlook on life and tends to be irked by those he feels are judging him, whether that's justified because of the things he's done in his past or just because they don't get along with his personality. Whether you want him to hate your character until Trench crumbles into the sea or just someone to be mildly irritated with yours, he's good for a lot of negative CR.
Unwanted CR: While one-sided crushes are okay (but why would you?), any hard romance is out since he's taken.

Day to Day Life: He sleeps in late most days and then in the late mornings and early afternoons holds classes. for everything from weaponry to meditation to specialized powers people might possess. I've got a list of people who have done/handwaved he trains them on a regular basis, so if you're one of them you can assume he teaches them whenever. After that, he just does whatever, usually checking up on close CR to make sure they're alright. Sundays he can be found in the company of Reaper as that's their date night so he'll usually be MIA for a bit unless someone specifically needs him for something.
Current Plans: So there's a couple things going on with Maul! First and foremost, he's being canon-updated the last week of January, so he'll be out of commission the whole week as he experiences three years of his life back home. Feel free to have just about any CR who would be at his house (students, friends, etc.) notice he's gone and what happened. What's most relevant going forward though is a whole "Christmas Carol" visit he has in a Sith castle with three ghosts from his past. The tl;dr version is that he's coming back more willing to let the past and some of his eternal anger go, take more responsibility for his actions, and accept that vengeance is hollow. Basically, he's actively trying to heal his trauma now and is a much calmer Sith who has found his chill. The fact the Dark Side itself told him he can achieve greater power this way was also a big incentive to change.

Feel free to have your characters notice this change in personality, especially his eye color change because they'll be grey-brown some of the time now. There will be a network post from him at the beginning of Februrary discussing some of this with Trench at large and I'll be doing an open prompt in his log that month where he checks up on close CR.

Also, due to a conversation with Sharon, he's now researching the Archives to discover if the OG Sleepers who were in Deerington can still access their deer forms. Short answer is yes, so if anyone who likes to dig through ancient tomes and old scrolls of knowledge want to help him, that is also something he'll be doing in February as well. After that, feel free to have characters notice the spoopy black deer following them around. He's actually really nice despite looking a bit freaky, he promises!

CR Desired: i'm on the table for any type of cr. robby's got a nice bit of studying/training to do, but if there's anyone who wants to be study pals (in fighting or just in general tbh), that would be cool. B) or just being Teens....

Day to Day Life: His more public places to be found are:

- miyagi-do dojo, crenshaw: he's a part of the dojo and also visits its owner daniel larusso, whom he has a close relationship with.
- archives, gaze: studying!! he does a fair bit of reading on blood magic, engineering, and also just...non-fiction...to give him a break. also trying to read up on olde timey japan.
- can be spotted in willful machine, as he visits saeri and viktor to learn from!
- he also goes to sasuke's super awesome ninja school in darcmouth, aaand is potentially learning about healing chakra from sakura to help him learn how to use his warmblood better.

honestly, it's a lot of studying for him currently!!

Current Plans:

- tbh things are relatively chill emotionally for robby right now. he's helping viktor with his blood pollution research at the sanctuary and at his lab, though mainly assisting with blood extractions, reading, and organising.

- he's also got his own studying going on with blood magic which he's been doing for a while, but is getting more serious about. he would love samples of his friends' blood (not weird) for fiddling with, and he's also learning more about the abilities of bloods for defensive means. mainly because...

- he's interested in defensive items for keeping people safe!! but also wants to help anyone who comes to miyagi-do to use their blood powers to further protect themselves, and he can pass it onto sensei larusso. but outside of that, he's looking into traps that can be deployed to stop beasts from getting close, or accessories on one's person that can help them get away. mainly for people who don't want to get too involved in fighting in general.

he won't be making anything too soon but is coming up with some ideas. he chatted with waver about this, but tbh chatting about it with people would be cool!!

Demon CR: Especially considering Peter is beginning to finally tumble deep into his Demon King Arc here, Paimon has a range of interaction options: people to work with (via grants, or people he can begin to really teach / guide; I would love for him to start adopting some pupils of various types!!); babysitters to give Luna Lovegood a break every once in a while (basically people to read him stories, do spooky crafts with, make sure he doesn't get into trouble when he goes uber creepy and starts crawling around the walls and ceiling, etc.); fellow demons & such; knowledge types he can pal around with and talk to / learn with; there's also negative options as Paimon is not an evil entity but he still has a healthy dose of Horror Movie Demon in him thanks to a lot of canon trauma, and he can be a source of extreme terror if the circumstances are right — people he can "gently" psychologically terrorise would be fun (just because he enjoys some ~harmless mischief), or people for worse things (he can really fuck someone up, especially psychologically; there's things like causing visions/hallucinations, manifesting phobias, dream fuckery, etc.) and he's always here to like physically maim or kill if you ever want to do that to your poor person... OR if you'd rather have a more equal battle, then Fellow Powerful Beings to go against, really I'm here for anything as long as there's a reason it would go that way!; anyone suffering from soul fuckery or identity issues as he's a slew of them (most specifically there is the option to meet a side of him known as "Charlie" whose identity is that of a 13-year-old little girl, It's Complicated™)

Current Plans: I think I've mostly summed up what he's up to lately here in his monthly plot post! Aged-down Peter (who is actually Paimon, known as "Charlie" but this time the "correct one", l-lmao) is still on the table if anyone wants to do fun aged-down stuff there. I'm also very interested in dabbling into the Silent Hill player plot things now that I have some time! I've p much decided I'm not going to be doing a personalised Otherworld for Peter, but rather toss him into other people's. Since he's been freshly re-tormented by a canon update, I think I need a slight breather from targeting him; however.... I do imagine a lot of other people's traumas would probably resonate with him.....

Earlier hours are often spent picking up things she might need from a variety of the stores, midday is when she carves out time to train or workout (sometimes she can be found with Wesker, or Maul, or D, or Johnny depending on what she's focusing on). She'll find the time to check in on friends, usually by popping by their place of work or home, and she'll bring with her goodies.
She hasn't been around as much for friends as she might have normally been the last two months and it will continue that way up into March as she's focused on the Silent Hill Otherworld Plot. She's visibly more exhausted, over-emotional, and a touch forgetful.
Current Plans: Sharon is doing a lot when it comes to her powers, specifically her ability to warp the world and drag people into a hellish nightmare version of Trench. Break was being anon over text in their last thread, but I think there's some intriguing potential in having them meet properly! Break is from a warped Wonderland canon and embodies both the White Knight and the Mad Hatter, and is a reformed serial killer who died in the midst of world-saving. He's been in Trench over a year now and is spending his new life being everybody's uncle, learning to cook, and sorting out darkblood things that I think aren't dissimilar from Sharon's powers.

Also he had a not-daughter-sister-figure at home also named Sharon so that will sting every time, oops.

Luna's a witch so other witchy-types are always welcome, she likes learning about other forms of magic and has been taking an interest in occult magic. That being said, occult-types in general be it demons or magic-users — especially demons, considering she has a bond with a goetic-entity. Negative CR Desired: Honestly, anything that's not negative CR for the sake of it, or if it doesn't go anywhere. She's someone who's difficult to get negative CR with in general, I think? But it's not impossible. She's certainly butted heads with people: Maul, Johnny Lawrence, The Emperor and Paul Atreides are on her list of people she doesn't like or has complicated relationships with.

She doesn't suffer ignorance gladly, I think the easiest way for negative CR would be people who have negative / antagonistic attitudes towards demons, witches or beasts. Her bond with Paimon in particular has her very protective of the demon and she's not one who views demons as necessarily evil — so that could be something that'd be interesting to explore. Anyone going after Peter/Paimon would absolutely face her wrath/ire.

Day to Day Life: Luna's resumed her usual schedule: She can usually be found in and around Gaze, usually at the School of Mutter where she attends as a student living our her horror college dreams, or in the Archaic Archives — studying up on the lore/world of Deer Country, blood magic and rituals, and currently Beasthood. She will usually try to be wherever Moon Presence is if she's closer to the ground, or often spends time down at the Farther Shores. She can also be found in Willful Machine, running the shop John Constantine left to her.

Current/Event Plans: So just to summarise from my event plotting:

— Luna's spent a chunk of the month aged down to her seven year old self and is just being a generally delight tbh. It's great. She's also been attending Madam Generosity's party with not Peter, but Paimon. 2023 is the year Luna's going to start really embracing her bond with him now he's starting to feel himself a lot more post-canon update. It's going to be something I'll be diving more into in the coming months with Luna really starting to work more with Paimon re: asking about hidden truths and things. She also recently got herself a raven Familiar from Paimon too that she's named Ariel. There's an event toplevel here for both hanging out at the party and bb!Luna interactions.

— I didn't get around to the city exploration yet, but if anyone's interested in a tag in for that, please let me know! Luna will be interested in the Library, for one. Also down for rituals to destroy the effigies. Luna is quite pro-Patron for the most part, she's been dealing with Pthumerians for a long ass time, okay. So she'll want to steer towards destroying the effigies and/or stopping Riteior, and will likely be working with Paimon and her Familiar on the occult/ritual/research/translations side of things for that, if you want to get in on that!

Day to Day Life: Yoichi is currently progressing his way through getting every teleport location in Trench, which is taking him a while because he's kind of on the weak and easily winded side of things. Unwanted CR: Hardcore hatred, vendettas, etc. Tried it, didn't care for it. The setting provides enough problems for Shen Yuan to face without making more.

Day to Day Life: Shen Yuan's daily routine begins and ends at his apartment in Gaze, although his job takes him all over the city and he can frequently been visiting the Wilful Machine to browse the shops or have tea with Lan Xichen and Jin Guangyao. Although he no longer needs to visit the Sanctuary daily as he did while living in the Outpost, he still makes a point of visiting on the weekends to meditate under the guardian tree, which has the double benefit of lowering his corruption and advancing his cultivation, or magical prowess. He can otherwise be found in the Archives in Gaze, performing research for the database project.
Current Plans: Last month I floated the idea of putting together an in-game list or database describing Trench's monthly effects and related events, for the benefit of newcomers and people who want to put a little more planning into the IC reactions, on discord. I got a pretty positive reaction, so this month the alternate Shen Yuan started soliciting descriptions of weird experiences people had had or experienced in previous months. The next step is collating the data and arranging it in an easily-searchable form, but while that’s going on Shen Yuan will begin making posts around the tail end of each month outlining the weird effects that were reported from the previous year, as well soliciting ideas on how to plan for or mitigate said effects.

The whole point of this is to inspire community discussion, so the more people who show up to talk about their experiences and exchange ideas the happier I’ll be XD
