CHARACTER RELATIONSHIP MEME
Time to cozy up with each other and touch base on ideas and plans you have for your ongoing character relationships! We strive for an open and friendly gamespace where everyone can feel encouraged to seek new CR opportunities or work on existing ones. Business: he has a lab in willful machine and will take general requests for making machines. he's made a ddr machine before so that goes to show you the kind of weird shit he gets into there
Where they live: willful machine with pal and cait!
Relationship Status: very married to pal
Other close CR: pal, obviously. allen and nico he's very close to, jason is his best bud and probably spends a lot of time with. vi, jinx, rose, chizuru are also people he goes out of his way to see. he teaches robby and maybe some other (penny?) but i have to check. i am bad at remembering cr i am sorry....
Positive CR Desired: open to most stuff honestly. research buds is definitely part of the agenda now with pollution research, i'd love to have more people in a sort of gaggle of research/magic loving nerds looking into things. not necessarily science, legit people who are just into Investigating or history or magic would be great.
i general just people he can hang with would also be good. he's going kind of heavily into Work Mode to deal with certain things like a totally emotionally well adjusted adult so people who he actual hangs with outside of work are a boon.
Negative CR Desired: i'm open to this, i still think academic rivals would be hilarious.
Unwanted CR: no romance obv
Day to Day Life: - being in crenshaw sanctuary, doing research and helping out if need be. he's been there long enough he might be pointed to if someone's come in just asking for general information about sanc or corruption or whatever, which he'd be happy to give
- his lab at the willful machine, which is a big old drafty storage warehouse he repurposed. when he's there he keeps the door mostly open if people want to come in. largely he works on bloodstone fueled magic items and general repairs people bring him or other projects there
- willful machine markets/far shores are places he goes to look for scrap and cool, weird shit that washed up.
- his house, which is a colorful abomination because he was foolish enough to tell pal to find a place that wasn't grey.
- archives/school/gaze in general sometimes.
Current Plans:
- Blood pollution research! Ic post here and ooc post here! this is a very handwavey kind of plot of players gathering resources info to see what sort of breakthroughs we can get, and there's room for just blood donations, people using powers in cool ways and apparently making baked goods for blood drives! i'd be happy to thread things too here but yes, i'd love to establish hanging out more with research types for this.
- on a personal note he's dealing with some canon events he was updated into and foolishly decided he's just going to distract himself with working and Progress until the other shoe drops. lots of guilt and such. it's something i plan on coming to a head eventually, maybe in an event? though if friends want to notice and be like 'my dude, coping mechanisms' i'm not against that
- his cast is just that walking into a fire with pizza.gif so there's that. he has a very dangerous drug hidden in his lab that certainly won't be a problem at any point!
- i also have always wanted to do a 'the trouble with researching/being close to corruption and pollution' sort of plot. i don't have any solid ideas but something like items getting corrupted/cursed and being a problem, a room getting corrupted and being a problem, weird effects corruption might have on memories or powers, etc. basically just if this intrigues it's something we can brainstorm and maybe make a little plot
Event Plans: he's being a robot in the new city and at the party! there's a top level on the post i'm too lazy to grab.

and of course I am super super keen to continue the blood pollution research and experimentation plans we discussed for jgy, viktor and pal!! now that I've brought jgy back from his AU walkabout, I'll be sure to hit up the IC and OOC posts you've linked above with him asap.

i'd love to see more of both of them! especially with all the research stuff. i'm always very game for people getting more involved with that, and given both characters have interesting hooks in i'd love to see it.
in general too i'd love to maybe do some Public Works things. i briefly mentioned it to ekko's player, ekko would be into that sort of thing so maybe we can play around with that in the future?
