Day to Day Life:

➤ travel around trench up on rooftops, people watching, stalking people, eating, acting like a monkey.
➤ go to her treehouse to chill, sleep, or whatever. every now and then, she goes inside the rookery to be annoying or ask for things if she doesn't have whatever she needs. on fridays, they have family dinner together.

CURRENT PLAN #1: STARTING AS OF RIGHT NOW.

➤ *jinx just started out her business (the clink n' clank) at prufrock. but because her business is fairly new and there's a lot of competition, she needs to find ways to get some footwork. so what she did was bribe a local hunter and convinced him to steal for her at other businesses whatever materials they have and bring it to her. in exchange, she is giving him her shimmer blood which will help him get unnatural abilities (such as: strength, speed, and durability).

what does this mean to you?
if your character is a business owner or a worker of some kind, feel free to notice little by little that your items/materials have come up missing! this is happening all over trench and very very late at night. i'm all up for people spotting some figure in the shadows running away with your characters' business things and what not. i thought this could be a little fund and to add some rumbles within the sleepers and locals!

CURRENT PLAN #2: ALSO STARTING AS OF RIGHT NOW.

➤ a canon mate named caitlyn kiramman (

topside_cupcake) recently arrived in trench. caitlyn is jinx's prime enemy of the series. with that being said, jinx is trying to lure caitlyn into a trap and will try to kill her. while she knows that death is not permeant, trust me - that will not stop her from doing it anyway. it's personal and it's the principle of the matter, okay? don't @ her.

how jinx will lure caitlyn is she will be catfishing her whenever she posts on the network. she has created a new username which will be "aoede" and will be communicating with her under that name.

what does this mean to you?
feel free to have your character notice this strange username that they've never seen before in trench. pick up little weird clues since as: this user always reply in text only, only shows up when caitlyn is on the network, and if you try to befriend this user or meet up with this user - they decline the offer every single time or come up with an excuse to why they can not meet up.

Positive CR Desired: Asriel is primarily interested in finding other scientists/scholars/research types to compare notes with. He is not easy to get along with and is extremely bad at feelings and relationships, but I encourage everyone to bother him anyway and see what sticks!

Negative CR Desired: I am extremely open to all flavours of negative CR! He is proud, difficult, and has a horrible temper when pressed, so it's not hard to achieve. I also love, love a good argument/dispute/fight (even if I am bad at writing fight scenes I love a build-up and an aftermath lmao) and never get tired of drama so I am serious let us make some.

Day to Day Life: He lives and works out of Gaze, so if he's in the city, it's probably there. He's hard to miss, given Stelmaria is constantly present unless she's gone off to do something.

Current Plans: He is working on converting a large building into a usable future space that he can live and work out of. Other than that, he is gathering information wherever he can. He is studying blood and blood magic in-depth, and also the Pthumerians, which can surely only lead to good things........

Event Plans:

Asriel has been off to explore the new city area and has been researching Riteoir and the Pthumerians in general. He has a network post asking about them~
I sorta handwaved him going along on the whole expedition to the new place, so if you would like to say he tagged along with your character/your character's group I am down to sorting out some handwaved cr for that. He has a lot of experience in the wilderness, so he'd have had that to trade lol
Asriel is extremely interested in the ritual used to create effigies as well as Riteoir himself. He will be trying to learn everything he can and going down that rabbit hole of research, so if you are looking for hooks, there are many! Asriel is ultimately playing catch-up since he's trying to learn a lot of lore quickly, so he's more willing to get abridged versions from people in the meantime.

Other:

ALRIGHT SO you have already met this guy, and I absolutely cannot wait for them to start learning each other's whole deal, but! I also have Jarchivist Sims, who is steadily helping create a "Sleeper Archive" out past the edge of town. This is ~~an scp archive run by idiots~~ a place where Sleepers can research ~~dangerous corrupting artefacts~~ lore clues without the Pthumerians breathing down their necks.

I think Asriel would be into it and that we should let him touch all the Leitners. Also, Jon is a Deerington vet who can give him the dirt on all the lesser-known NPCs.

YES DEFINITELY HE WOULD. Please let him touch Leitners oh my god. I feel like he would just collect incidentally useful cursed artefacts because you never know when you might need them. Some people have already been talking to him about Deerington-adjacent things, which are a big ??? so it would be easy to connect the dots and learn about the archive project too.

His big fatal flaw here is that he has almost always got his way and things always work out for him ~~except that one time he didn't but shhh marisa coulter is a chaotic entity~~ and likes to think it's all wonderfully under control and on his own terms so I am very much into him getting to fuck around and find out.

Positive CR Desired: So Maul at his best tends to act like a grumpy spikey cat with CR he actually enjoys. He's a sucker for people that are legitimately kind and compassionate to him and once you have his loyalty it takes a hell of a lot for him to break it. He gravitates towards characters with a bit of darkness in them, seeing them as kindred spirits, and bizarrely towards cheerful sunshiney types because they tend to see the best in him. He's also a surprisingly good teacher for those of any age, being patient and adaptable to many styles of teaching his students.
Negative CR Desired: On the flip side, he's a cruel and vicious psychopath who will hold onto a grudge for literal decades if you piss him off in the right way. He's blunt to the point of rudeness and doesn't make an effort to get along with a lot of people. He's got a very harsh outlook on life and tends to be irked by those he feels are judging him, whether that's justified because of the things he's done in his past or just because they don't get along with his personality. Whether you want him to hate your character until Trench crumbles into the sea or just someone to be mildly irritated with yours, he's good for a lot of negative CR.
Unwanted CR: While one-sided crushes are okay (but why would you?), any hard romance is out since he's taken.

Day to Day Life: He sleeps in late most days and then in the late mornings and early afternoons holds classes. for everything from weaponry to meditation to specialized powers people might possess. I've got a list of people who have done/handwaved he trains them on a regular basis, so if you're one of them you can assume he teaches them whenever. After that, he just does whatever, usually checking up on close CR to make sure they're alright. Sundays he can be found in the company of Reaper as that's their date night so he'll usually be MIA for a bit unless someone specifically needs him for something.
Current Plans: So there's a couple things going on with Maul! First and foremost, he's being canon-updated the last week of January, so he'll be out of commission the whole week as he experiences three years of his life back home. Feel free to have just about any CR who would be at his house (students, friends, etc.) notice he's gone and what happened. What's most relevant going forward though is a whole "Christmas Carol" visit he has in a Sith castle with three ghosts from his past. The tl;dr version is that he's coming back more willing to let the past and some of his eternal anger go, take more responsibility for his actions, and accept that vengeance is hollow. Basically, he's actively trying to heal his trauma now and is a much calmer Sith who has found his chill. The fact the Dark Side itself told him he can achieve greater power this way was also a big incentive to change.

Feel free to have your characters notice this change in personality, especially his eye color change because they'll be grey-brown some of the time now. There will be a network post from him at the beginning of Februrary discussing some of this with Trench at large and I'll be doing an open prompt in his log that month where he checks up on close CR.

Also, due to a conversation with Sharon, he's now researching the Archives to discover if the OG Sleepers who were in Deerington can still access their deer forms. Short answer is yes, so if anyone who likes to dig through ancient tomes and old scrolls of knowledge want to help him, that is also something he'll be doing in February as well. After that, feel free to have characters notice the spoopy black deer following them around. He's actually really nice despite looking a bit freaky, he promises!

People who can help her figure out emotions and what she should do as an actual person would be extra lovely! Also mentor-y figures and framily would be great. Just everything positive that she's capable of handling basically.
Negative CR Desired: Maybe someone to have a fun rivalry with? I'm not too interested in this right now.
Unwanted CR: She won't be ready for anything romance-wise for the foreseeable future. But I can plan for long-term stuff! I'd also like to avoid anything completely antagonistic against her for now.

Demon CR: Especially considering Peter is beginning to finally tumble deep into his Demon King Arc here, Paimon has a range of interaction options: people to work with (via grants, or people he can begin to really teach / guide; I would love for him to start adopting some pupils of various types!!); babysitters to give Luna Lovegood a break every once in a while (basically people to read him stories, do spooky crafts with, make sure he doesn't get into trouble when he goes uber creepy and starts crawling around the walls and ceiling, etc.); fellow demons & such; knowledge types he can pal around with and talk to / learn with; there's also negative options as Paimon is not an evil entity but he still has a healthy dose of Horror Movie Demon in him thanks to a lot of canon trauma, and he can be a source of extreme terror if the circumstances are right — people he can "gently" psychologically terrorise would be fun (just because he enjoys some ~harmless mischief), or people for worse things (he can really fuck someone up, especially psychologically; there's things like causing visions/hallucinations, manifesting phobias, dream fuckery, etc.) and he's always here to like physically maim or kill if you ever want to do that to your poor person... OR if you'd rather have a more equal battle, then Fellow Powerful Beings to go against, really I'm here for anything as long as there's a reason it would go that way!; anyone suffering from soul fuckery or identity issues as he's a slew of them (most specifically there is the option to meet a side of him known as "Charlie" whose identity is that of a 13-year-old little girl, It's Complicated™)

Current Plans: I think I've mostly summed up what he's up to lately here in his monthly plot post! Aged-down Peter (who is actually Paimon, known as "Charlie" but this time the "correct one", l-lmao) is still on the table if anyone wants to do fun aged-down stuff there. I'm also very interested in dabbling into the Silent Hill player plot things now that I have some time! I've p much decided I'm not going to be doing a personalised Otherworld for Peter, but rather toss him into other people's. Since he's been freshly re-tormented by a canon update, I think I need a slight breather from targeting him; however.... I do imagine a lot of other people's traumas would probably resonate with him.....

I also have an open post with Paimon at the Snake Den, if anyone would like to do some fun party things with a demon king who's really feeling himself.

I'm just now starting to get to Silent Hill things myself, and I'd love to toss Peter into people's Otherworlds to give him a glimpse of their traumas! If you'd be down for it, I'd be super interested for him (and Paimon) to learn more about Echo there.

he reads her network posts if he sees them but he's not going to trail jinx to try and catch her out. mainly he's concerned about her mental stability between what vi and viktor has told him, which isn't anything he can do about (mainly, her jealousy?), but chizuru has also said she wants people to give jinx a chance, so!!

he's trying to be open-minded despite her...talk of killing... and isn't going to deliberately screw this up for them or attempt to. but he'll still act as friendly as he is with chizuru, since they are fairly close.

Positive CR Desired: open to most stuff honestly. research buds is definitely part of the agenda now with pollution research, i'd love to have more people in a sort of gaggle of research/magic loving nerds looking into things. not necessarily science, legit people who are just into Investigating or history or magic would be great.

i general just people he can hang with would also be good. he's going kind of heavily into Work Mode to deal with certain things like a totally emotionally well adjusted adult so people who he actual hangs with outside of work are a boon.

Negative CR Desired: i'm open to this, i still think academic rivals would be hilarious.

Unwanted CR: no romance obv

Day to Day Life: - being in crenshaw sanctuary, doing research and helping out if need be. he's been there long enough he might be pointed to if someone's come in just asking for general information about sanc or corruption or whatever, which he'd be happy to give
- his lab at the willful machine, which is a big old drafty storage warehouse he repurposed. when he's there he keeps the door mostly open if people want to come in. largely he works on bloodstone fueled magic items and general repairs people bring him or other projects there
- willful machine markets/far shores are places he goes to look for scrap and cool, weird shit that washed up.
- his house, which is a colorful abomination because he was foolish enough to tell pal to find a place that wasn't grey.
- archives/school/gaze in general sometimes.

Current Plans:
- Blood pollution research! Ic post here and ooc post here! this is a very handwavey kind of plot of players gathering resources info to see what sort of breakthroughs we can get, and there's room for just blood donations, people using powers in cool ways and apparently making baked goods for blood drives! i'd be happy to thread things too here but yes, i'd love to establish hanging out more with research types for this.

- on a personal note he's dealing with some canon events he was updated into and foolishly decided he's just going to distract himself with working and Progress until the other shoe drops. lots of guilt and such. it's something i plan on coming to a head eventually, maybe in an event? though if friends want to notice and be like 'my dude, coping mechanisms' i'm not against that

- his cast is just that walking into a fire with pizza.gif so there's that. he has a very dangerous drug hidden in his lab that certainly won't be a problem at any point!

- i also have always wanted to do a 'the trouble with researching/being close to corruption and pollution' sort of plot. i don't have any solid ideas but something like items getting corrupted/cursed and being a problem, a room getting corrupted and being a problem, weird effects corruption might have on memories or powers, etc. basically just if this intrigues it's something we can brainstorm and maybe make a little plot

Other close CR: he lives with makima, who is wonderful and not going to be a nightmare having a psychic nuke under her thumb! and sunny, who he's often hanging out with. robby is probably the person he's grown closest to and hangs out with a lot, and also his sensei daniel larusso. pretty much everyone in miyagi-do is someone he'd also be seen with and enjoy being around probably, on top of somehow becoming peter's 14 year old sensei on spooky spiritual adventures. robyn, jun and frisk are also up there with people he likes. learning from obi-wan too. jinx is his boss obviously.

Positive CR Desired: open to whatever. mob's very easy to get along with, he's one of those always willing to give people a shot no matter what their deal is. i'd like to have him grow his support network because that's very important to him, he strongly believes he needs to have people around to help him change for the better, etc.

so yeah, friends, teachers. people with 'i'm afraid of myself' in some way would be interesting. emotional repression buds as well.

Negative CR Desired: i'm open to stuff but again, mob is pretty hard to not get along with. if people are unwilling to change and just want to be shitty then yeah. he's very hard to corrupt but i'm not against the attempt.

Unwanted CR: i'm going to say a general pass on romance. he's 14 so it'd have to be someone very close to his age or his age, and even then there's a lot of stuff around his feelings and canon crush that make that complicated.

Day to Day Life:
- works some days at jinx's gift shop! he can be a bit of a ditz about it but tries very hard and is generally just being a good cashier.
- trains at miyagi-do. probably just spends a good amount of time there, working on bonsai or doing whatever exercises. he just likes miyagi-do and seeing daniel...
- robby's house, sometimes he goes on a run over there and they can do stuff like work out or just hang out.
- his own home with makima and sunny. sunny and mob are trying to befriend the batcats so their house is eventually probably going to have a lot of those hanging out on the roof
-he just wanders sometimes because he's Like That

Current Plans:
-mostly still just settling in and going with events. he's definitely going to be on the side of helping the pthumerians at the very least and could be recruited into any efforts there. he's in the city for some of the month.

-speaking of if anyone wants some drama in the city i think if he spends too much time there he's going to have a pretty bad power explosion. for those who don't know the canon when his emotions build up past the point of repressing them they explode with his psychic powers and weird shit can happen. i don't have a particularly concrete idea here, just if that tickles anyone's fancy hit me up

- speaking of powers he's trying to figure out ways to cope with being intensely, scary powerful, not in complete control of that and dealing with how if he became a beast it'd be really really bad, so this is an ongoing character plot for him of trying to figure out what to do about any of that. so far miyagi-do and obi-wan training are his big attempts there.

Event Plans: i don't have a top level but i'll happily tag one or make a starter if someone wants!
