Let's see... Ange has known Ruby since she entered Julia's dream. I think they came around the same time, actually. She acts shy and quiet, but she's very loyal to her people... And I think she's more goofy than she wants people to think.

I know it's not bonds, but it is something. Sometimes it's easiest to use the terms people have in common, even if they aren't quite right.

Bonds can have the right time and place, but as with everything, some people will rush headlong into them without thinking it through. That's nothing new, even if the consequences are high.

The only people I'd consider any bonds with are Ruby and Dipper, my boyfriend. We all agreed that it's just not a good idea for any of us.

They'll still be around, if we are, however long to come. I don't recommend them under most circumstances. Not that my approval is needed in most cases.

Plenty of reasons. Knowing whether I'm having a private conversation or one another person may be 'hearing' so to speak. Should things come to violence, I prefer to know what damage I am doing; yes they may be choosing to attack me and thus the feedback is a consequence for their actions. If that's the case, I am ethically in the clear. I still prefer to know. Understanding someone's poor mood may not be their own affects how you can help with it.

Those are some examples.

Generally, whatever the context or influence, I prefer to understand the choices I'm making. I'm used to having to operate on less. I'll make the choices, then, because not making a choice still is one.

I'm glad you've managed that. I'm not sure what would happen if the other half of mine arrived.

We have never communicated since he became a lyctor. Ten thousand years ago, roughly.

In some ways, I have low standards for good days.

He died six months ago, the same day Augustine did. Augustine is here. He is not. I don't know why he isn't here. He likely didn't come here with me because we were no longer in the same body.

Our situation was different from yours. Him learning I was alive probably would have killed me—against his will.

As was referenced in the call out post, what happened to the cavaliers is a source of tension. Had my continued existence come out, it would have had the same effect.

I would be okay dying, but I refuse to wound him so profoundly. I would rather live another ten thousand years as I already have.

Gideon said a lot of things in that post. I don't what it all means, either.

But, I think even one of the people I had the hardest time with back home would be impressed with your... your Mettle.
