he tried to make the bread rolls look more like birds, but they’ve grown out of their initial design, sadly. a little note from falco mentions that he tried his best, but at least it still tastes good! enjoy!

[This sweater may be ugly, but having clothing with a hood is very useful for him here for when he needs to replace the ratty cloth he's currently using for a hood over his head.

And he absolutely adores this scythe--having something he can use to defend himself is very good so that he doesn't become too reliant on the PAK legs all the time... but yes, please tell him how to use it so that he doesn't accidentally slice his own hands off somehow.]

fern gets a delivery from perle sooner or later, when falco is able and on clearer speaking terms— he’s gifted a miniature fern that’s personally decorated with little paper birds, bead ornaments and glittery particles that’re supposed to make it look like snow!

(the miniature fern is a jolly fellow, if fern wants to chat, by the way!)

[Oh what!! Fern loves all the little handmade toys. They remind him a little of home, since he always enjoyed arts and crafts with the family and you generally don't go to a store to buy toys in the post-apocalypse.

varian will be delivered a package by perle, his little falcon omen: sweet dried blackberry cookies in enough numbers that you can stack them, along with a smooth wooden mug with a carved design around the body.

yeah. they’re plants. this was a coincidence, but soon falco will realize it’s not.

The book is super interesting, too. He's trying to be more responsible and actively work to understand botany so he can better understand himself, so he really appreciates it and is going to read through the entire thing.
