If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hi everyone, I'm so happy to have been accepted, this looks like an amazing group :D My name is Cosmo, and I'm relatively new to DWRP. I RPd on LJ ages ago, and only discovered that DWRP even existed about a month ago, and have gladly hopped on. My pronouns are they/she/he/any, and I live in NZ.

The character I'm bringing to the game (Blake Belladonna from RWBY) is, to get really stereotypical, an emo ninja catgirl. To be less stereotypical, she's a character that's had a long journey from trauma and isolation, to learning to be open and soft with her friends. She's a Huntress (a person trained to deal with monsters), a Faunus (a humanoid with animal features), a former member of an extremist group (for the aforementioned Faunus), a huge nerd about romance novels, extremely bisexual, cool and calm except for the times where she's a huge dork.

It goes without saying I'd love to plot stuff with people! Blake's going to be fascinated by the mythology and history of the world, and is going to work her way toward being an Arcane Scholar. If you interacted with Blake in the TDM, I'll be keeping all that as canon. PM this journal, or hit me up at cosmonautdelta, and I'd be thrilled to talk ideas! :D

Hello and welcome! My name is Callie and I play Xerxes Break from Pandora Hearts, which is relevant to you because hahahahaha congrats on your new bonus uncle, Blake. He's in shippies with Qrow and is close with Ruby independently of that; Oscar has also uncle’d him and he and Ange are basically besties. Given all that it's insta-CR. I haven't watched RWBY past volume 1 yet but he'll like Blake a lot I think, and be delighted to have another kid around as he just lost the last castmate of his own that he was really close to.

*ahem* Neo here's been in Deerington/Deer Country for approaching four years, so she's had herself quite the adventure. The upshot is that she has a truce running with the RWBY cast and is trying to 'reform' as best she can. Her making peace with Ruby's a bit of a long story. Of course, Blake doesn't know about any of that, so fun!

Thankfully, Neo's kind of used to old acquaintances trying to stab her on sight.

And if not, Ford is a fellow Darkblood Arcane Scholar that's very interested in the mythology and history of Trench, so it would be very easy to bounce them off of each other instead.

For your utmost pleasure I bring to you this little weirdo commonly known as Wrench from Watch Dogs. He is personality, lmao. If you don't know him, though, feel free to check out his app or his info page. Basics: he's an engineer, programmer, and hacktivist who is quirky, nerdy, violent, a wee bit Gay, and very much For The People ✊. Something of a weapons specialist and self proclaimed "demolition expert". He finds glee in all things kaboom, pew pew, and smashy smashy.

In canon, he makes a lot of movie and tv references so I'll be peepin' on everyone's permissions for fourth walling. About: Info | An eccentric and emotionally dysfunctional dickhead. Someone who would prefer the fact of hurting others rather than trying to change himself. I guess there's something to be said somewhere about his self-acceptance. Technically not a bad guy in that he is not malicious, but he is severely unkind. The fantasy world he comes from is pretty unkind and difficult itself, he is definitely a product of his world and his culture.

I apologize in advance every time he's rude as hell.

Plans: With his background in the occult/necromancy/ghosts/etc he will be very interested in learning about the magic here. I can't quite say which way he'll fall on it all yet, that will take some natural interaction with the setting.

Hi Bee! Welcome to the game! I am Prox and I play Ritsu Kageyama (Mob Psycho 100) and He Xuan (MXTX's novel TGCF/Heaven Official's Blessing).

Ritsu is barely a teen and probably won't be of much interest, but He Xuan is a 900 year old ghost (/demon, they're the same thing in his canon.) So he has a pretty strong relationship with dead things, he is one. He is also blunt, frequently doesn't meet his culture's standards for politeness, and has a low tolerance for bullshit, so I think he could handle Creeping Dust. Though he is also incredibly wary of necromancers and anyone he thinks might have the ability to control him.

Anyway your OC sounds really fun and your worldbuilding is cool! I am a little swamped for the next 48 hours but if you're interested I'd love to get a thread with you.

Hello Bee, welcome to the game! I'm Jhey and I play Peter from the psychological horror movie Hereditary. Your guy sounds super interesting and I absolutely think there is some fun cr potential here....

Back in his world, Peter was actually sacrificed in a ritual and is now the vessel to an ancient, goetic demon king of Hell, so!!! He also comes with a shitton of Younger Sibling Guilt, aaand said demon does have an affinity for dead things (both with necromancy but also the demon just likes to make dolls and other such things out of dead animals, it's Fine.) Actually, I think the demon would be extremely intrigued by your guy. Being a non-playable character on his own, he's here in-game too, so it would be very fun to toss him at Creeping Dust sometime.

Meanwhile, Peter's traumas have him very... Soft and Afraid of most things (he is probably the opposite of "secure of themselves" HAHA), so I feel like Creeping Dust would definitely intimidate him, but I would be very interested to see how this cr might go, if you'd be down! He's also slowly but surely venturing into Occult Things and learning about them after resisting it for a very long time. Peter, it's time to embrace your Spooky....
