If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hi everyone, I'm so happy to have been accepted, this looks like an amazing group :D My name is Cosmo, and I'm relatively new to DWRP. I RPd on LJ ages ago, and only discovered that DWRP even existed about a month ago, and have gladly hopped on. My pronouns are they/she/he/any, and I live in NZ.

The character I'm bringing to the game (Blake Belladonna from RWBY) is, to get really stereotypical, an emo ninja catgirl. To be less stereotypical, she's a character that's had a long journey from trauma and isolation, to learning to be open and soft with her friends. She's a Huntress (a person trained to deal with monsters), a Faunus (a humanoid with animal features), a former member of an extremist group (for the aforementioned Faunus), a huge nerd about romance novels, extremely bisexual, cool and calm except for the times where she's a huge dork.

It goes without saying I'd love to plot stuff with people! Blake's going to be fascinated by the mythology and history of the world, and is going to work her way toward being an Arcane Scholar. If you interacted with Blake in the TDM, I'll be keeping all that as canon. PM this journal, or hit me up at cosmonautdelta, and I'd be thrilled to talk ideas! :D

Hello and welcome! My name is Callie and I play Xerxes Break from Pandora Hearts, which is relevant to you because hahahahaha congrats on your new bonus uncle, Blake. He's in shippies with Qrow and is close with Ruby independently of that; Oscar has also uncle’d him and he and Ange are basically besties. Given all that it's insta-CR. I haven't watched RWBY past volume 1 yet but he'll like Blake a lot I think, and be delighted to have another kid around as he just lost the last castmate of his own that he was really close to.

Unfortunately the price you pay for having Break in your life is that you have Break in your life. He has learned to cook since he arrived, though. There is that.

For your utmost pleasure I bring to you this little weirdo commonly known as Wrench from Watch Dogs. He is personality, lmao. If you don't know him, though, feel free to check out his app or his info page. Basics: he's an engineer, programmer, and hacktivist who is quirky, nerdy, violent, a wee bit Gay, and very much For The People ✊. Something of a weapons specialist and self proclaimed "demolition expert". He finds glee in all things kaboom, pew pew, and smashy smashy.

In canon, he makes a lot of movie and tv references so I'll be peepin' on everyone's permissions for fourth walling. I do noooot know what to do with this butthead yet, but he works best in a group of people who share a common cause. Hit me up with some ideas! LOL. Was thinking he might end up being one of those hunters that tries to move in a group or somethin' IDK!!

Holy shit! I never got around to beating Watch Dogs 2 because open-world games can be a slog sometimes when you're a completionist but holy shit I loved everything I saw of Wrench and am super psyched to see someone playing him!

Arcane was my favorite season of television that came out in 2021! (I'm also into League lore, if not the game, and RP Ahri lmao). And I think Blake and Jinx would make a really interesting mix -- Blake is used to hyperactive people that love explosives, but nothing really on Jinx's extreme level, but she's excellent at recognizing trauma in others, so she'd likely wind up feeling a lot of sympathy for her, which would be interesting!

Bonus uncle!! Glancing over the personality section on his app, I think he and Blake will definitely get on -- she loves the loud personality types, the fun-loving, playful people, because they allow her to get out of her shell a little bit. Of course, knowing that her friends are already close with Break will have her trusting him pretty quick, since she trusts their judgement completely.

Ooh, and they'll also have an interesting connection re: using their Darkblood powers to shapeshift! Blake may not figure out her own for a little bit, so it might actually be Break that gives her the idea lmao

Willow!! Yes, 100%, I can see Blake really getting along with Willow, on account of them both being huge nerds. Blake would be absolutely fascinated to hear about Willow's old powers (even if they don't work like they should here, if that part of your app still applies) and would probably want to hear every single story that Willow has lmao
