Maul feels he owes the Medicine Seller a good turn after he helped him from becoming a Sithsicle and would have made that known, so I feel like him cashing in on that favor down the line might be something to plot for! Maul despises being in people's debt cause it's gotten him in trouble before but he also believes in balancing the scales.

I'd definitely like these two to interact again. Maul's interactions previously with cultivators has left him with a desire to poke those currently in game curiously with a stick.

i would love this, i am very much enjoying their thread already. he'd definitely accept any help too, and the force people are the closest thing to how his powers are so he already tends to lean towards them for that kind of thing

hi howdy hello!! I'm very much enjoying fitz's thread with asriel and would be keen to see how future interactions between them go. there are a number of character parallels between these two that I can think of off the top of my head, namely that they both do have animal companions (of a kind) in their original canons that accompanied them to trench, as well as both being fathers to headstrong daughters (and were not particularly involved in the raising of them, oops).

hello, fellow wolf person here 🤝 sansa is also approximately the age of fitz's eldest daughter in his canon, that could be an interesting angle to explore.

also since he's got vileblood and his corruption tends to manifest itself through his wit bond companion, nighteyes, fitz will spend a fair amount of time in sanctuary. that would probably be a good place for them to bump into each other.

also, wrong account, but for jgy, would you be down to assume that jgy did give sansa some of those talismans in exchange for the pint of paleblood for his research?

I will put up a starter for smaller sansa at the sanctuary soon so that seems like a good way for them to meet!! she's a lot more trusting of rogue dads (and will see another wolf as A Sign) at this canonpoint and grown sansa will really appreciate him being kind to her younger self

yo 👀 please pencil me in as interested in developing CR with peter with both my guys (fitz and jin guangyao), though I may need to let specific ideas percolate in my brain a bit. (hereditary is one of my favourite horror movies, I think I mentioned this on plurk already.)

it might be interesting specifically to see how jgy interacts with paimon, just given my guy is the principle antagonist from his source canon despite being quite a sympathetic one, and he is predisposed to seeking out other morally grey characters when trying to achieve his ambitions.

fitz feels very kindly disposed towards viktor for being one of the first people in trench other than huaisang to help him find his feet--and, you know, to help remove weird bloodstones from his knee, thanks for that 👍 since his corruption is going to manifest mostly through his wit bond companion, nighteyes, he'll be in sanctuary fairly often I think trying to ease the effects of it. he and nighteyes might make useful voluntary subjects for experimentation with reducing the effects of corruption.

and of course I am super super keen to continue the blood pollution research and experimentation plans we discussed for jgy, viktor and pal!! now that I've brought jgy back from his AU walkabout, I'll be sure to hit up the IC and OOC posts you've linked above with him asap.

no worries at all, I've also been wiped out this month, I'm choosing to blame everything on december being so busy.

and that sounds good to me!! fitz has many, many regrets about not being able to actually raise his oldest daughter himself (and at his current canon point, his youngest daughter does not exist yet), so I suspect he will feel a bit like he owes it to nettle (eldest daughter) to try to be as present for other kids he encounters.

i too am really enjoying their conversation and weird parallels and also the potential for conflicting ideologies (youthful idealism vs the cynicism of an old fart, unconditional compassion vs targeted compassion i can see this being a very fun dynamic \o/)

also i'm glad things are calming down for you and you get some well-deserved time to yourself - getting bulldozed by life and esp university stuff must be so stressful

Heck yes!! I'm absolutely here for this, and for any brainstorming sessions or ideas that might jump out to you over time! I would be so down to have Paimon interact with other "complicated antagonistic characters"; I've been playing him a couple of years and really been able to extrapolate some characterisation out for him, but still tried to keep that Hereditary Ambiguity to everything.

He's largely still a scrambled mess that can go... so many ways, so it's always fun to see how he'd react to various characters. I'm super canonblind but just from peeking at things here and there, I've seen that demons/demonic-esque-things are a part of JGY's canon?? So that could definitely be Very Interesting.

I'm so sorry, he's going to be So Annoying about it if he finds out Maul thinks he's indebted to him (like badgering him to buy him food until Maul is sick of his shit) but I can also definitely see it being brought up as a more dramatic plot point down the line

(also oh no i see that tag in my top levels and i want to smoosh baby Maul's little cheeks what a precious bun ;A;)

CR Desired: Let's merge all of these. I'm actively interested in ALL CR for Yoichi, and am open to trying out nearly anything. I am very much interested in getting Yoichi embroiled in things, and especially learning blood magic. He doesn't really have canon power TO lose, so that's not an issue, but it might be nice to find someone willing to instruct a bit so he's not just going through the power of Trial And Error.

Day to Day Life: Yoichi is currently progressing his way through getting every teleport location in Trench, which is taking him a while because he's kind of on the weak and easily winded side of things. When he isn't doing that, he's picking around on the shoreline for washed up sea food, neat items, or possibly people.
Current Plans: He has a long term goal of building a stone shelter/home/etc near the shoreline as a secondary safety location people can go to during rough weather or an untimely arrival. He's working on planning ahead for pending possible events after eavesdropping on someone else's network post to hopefully stave off horrible results. I haven't decided if he'll succeed yet.
Event Plans: I got none currently.

Other: I'm absolutely horrendous at toplevels but I will continue to try my best.

I have a feeling, no matter what, Nighteyes and the Medicine Seller may be exchanging this look a lot. Caniid solidarity over having to deal with human tomfoolery uwu

(Also the Wit magic would be fascinating to him, especially if Fitz can actually see him for what he really is)
