Day to Day Life: Ariadne spends most of her days either setting up Serenity Garden or foraging in the forests for plants and mushrooms.
Current Plans: Very little on the agenda right now. Airy's been hurt by some of the people around her, so she's a little insolated. Definitely needs to come out of her shell more.
Event Plans: Open log over here. She's playing music and generally just enjoying what feels like a respite from her woes.

Positive CR Desired: I wouldn't mind her being in a romantic relationship so long as there is an understanding it would be an incredibly slow burn as she needs to contend with her feelings about them and Mamoru. BUT more friends are ALWAYS welcome. I'm also wanting to do more with her as Sailor Moon and training. Her personal arc is exploring what being "Usagi" means since so much of her life has been wrapped up in being Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity.
Negative CR Desired: If it happens it happens. Usagi can be a little much and can grate people the wrong way because of her nosiness.
Unwanted CR: Rivals? Usagi isn't the sort to compete with someone in such a way.

Day to Day Life: Usagi is usually running around helping someone as is her personality. She can also be found patrolling as Sailor Moon.

Summary:

Rogue combat AI just wants to be left alone to watch TV and pretend it's not full of emotions and anxiety at all times. Currently pretending to be a tech-augmented human named Rin, because rogue combat AI are a big deal in its canon. If it's known you for longer than two seconds, it would probably die for you, but will under no circumstances admit to being "friends."

Day to Day Life:

- Hovering awkwardly around town, trying to adjust to space opera culture shock and pretending to be a Completely Normal Human.

- Hovering awkwardly near Hunters and the Hunter district but not knowing how our whether to take the plunge.

- Following Penny Polendina like a worried mother pit bull behind a small and enthusiastic puppy.

- Watching performances in Cellar Door as an uncomfortable wallflower.

Day to Day Life: Her day-to-day hasn't changed much & is very flexible. She's seen doing odd jobs to earn food and rent. Her chosen home turf is in Cassandra. She often visits Ache & Lumenwood for the flora. Despite it not being safe, she can be out pretty late at night.
Current/Event Plans: Just bundling these two together! It's not going to be a permanent change and I am not putting up a toplevel, but due to the Shedding ceremony Haru is going to be a human woman which started at the middle of this month and will continue until early February the latest. Following that she will be back in her rabbit form.
I am planning on doing a Network post this week, and if you have any open logs/threads please link me to them since I'm primarily tagging out! I can also do private threads.

Positive CR Desired: I'm primarily looking for people for Sayo to be a nerdy doofus with—she doesn't show this side of herself often, but she's passionate about novel-writing and in particular mysteries. Anybody who'd be willing to indulge her in welcome. Similarly, Sayo is very competitive, and anybody who can entice her into a competition of some sort will find a (hopefully friendly) rival. Fellow snoops are also welcome, as she has a few ideas that she needs to corkboard out and somebody to listen to her will be greatly appreciated, although this isn't likely to happen outside of established CR that has seen her less peppy side at the Snake Den.
Negative CR Desired: Sayo is distrustful of mindreaders and empaths, and bumping into one on the regular will worsen her mental state and accelerate her Corruption. On the opposite end of the spectrum, irrepressible shonen protagonist types set her off her guard most of the time—with a few exceptions—and having her struggle to deal with one could make for an interesting thread. As her Corruption reaches dangerous stages, I'd also love to thread out dream-ish threads with particularly intelligent or clever characters, but these threads will inherently involve a lot of spoilers for Umineko so keep that in mind if you're interested!
Unwanted CR: Thanks to the forced honesty effect of Madam Generosity forcing a lot of stuff out of her that she didn't want to say, Sayo will tighter-lipped about herself than normal, so don't expect any new or established CR to get any major revelations about her without extraordinary extenuating circumstances.

Day to Day Life: Sayo spends most of her time cleaning up the Clockhouse, but she does go out every day to the School of Mutter to speedrun completing her high school education. She also spends a lot of time around book traders; omnis might have multiversal media, but Sayo is curious about the culture of Trench enough that she wants to get a personal look at it. Notably, Sayo will be snooping around the temples of Doorway and The Reckoning since she has a hunch about the two of them and is curious enough to see if it's correct, and she'll be researching in the Archaic Archives for the same purposes.

Current Plans: thanks to Madam Generosity's honesty aura pushing her too hard, Sayo is going to refuse to talk to anyone about anything meaningful with the possible exceptions of Rin/Murderbot and Chara , and she'll likely start clamming up even with them. However, as time goes on, her feelings about certain other close relationships of hers will reach a boiling point, and the inner turmoil of those emotions heating up to a boil without any release and the guilt of not trusting anyone enough to talk will get to her. This will lead to high levels of Corruption starting in February. On a physical level, Sayo's body will start transforming into a wooden marionette and she'll be even clumsier than normal, but on a mental level she'll start disassociating from herself hard enough to basically leave her body and brain on autopilot and be... elsewhere. Sayo will be capable of interacting with people from that "elsewhere," but her Corruption will be heavily influencing her at that point, and both her body and soul will start hallucinating Clockhouse as the Ushiromiya mansion and Trench as Rokkenjima. Getting Sayo back to herself will be an arduous process, which will involve heavy spoilers for Umineko and interaction with Sayo's soul while she's "elsewhere."

Event Plans: Sayo's event plot is already wrapped up, and she wants nothing to do with the shedding ceremony or the Unsnakely for the rest of the month.

Other: Like all characters in a million word mystery novel, Sayo has a lot of secrets, many of them plot-critical. After a certain point, CR with her will inevitably involve late-game spoilers for Umineko, so keep that in mind. Said secrets can also be incredibly triggering, so if you're interested in having your muse grow closer to Sayo it may be worth it to ask me about any CWs you need so I can avoid those topics. Also, any interaction with Sayo at all will become a spoiler minefield after she reaches a threshold in her character development, which will likely happen in March.

Positive CR Desired: Despite his General Hard Demeanor Aki has a big gooey center (not unlike a tootsie roll pop) and actually gets attached to other people extremely easily. He will gravitate toward found family type CR automatically because of Issues, so if you're looking for someone to slot into an aloof-but-secretly-very-devoted big brother kind of role he is 100% your dude. He is also very competent and hard-working, and would likely get along well with people who are good at doing the same things he does (as mentioned, largely killing monsters). Relatedly, I am looking for a way to provide Aki with a sword, because SOMEBODY is being unhelpful about it :/ :\

And finally, Aki has no sense of humor and is thus the perfect straight man for any kind of ridiculous sitcom routine, which is a role he frequently plays in canon anyway, and there is nothing I like doing more than shitposting. Need someone to be the butt of a situation most absurd? Please Hit Me Up
Negative CR Desired: Aki is also a dick and kind of insane so it will be very easy for him to get off on the wrong foot with people. He's one of those people who acts cool but has a hot temper, so it would be very easy for the right person to pick a fight with him. He also has a strong sense of justice but has a history of violently black-and-white thinking regarding it (he's since had character development, but old habits are hard to break), so he could easily clash with good and evil types alike, or really just anybody who isn't inclined to tolerate someone being rude at them all the time. Chiefly, Aki has a reputation for his hatred of monster people types and willful murderers.
Unwanted CR: I genuinely can't think of anything I would definitely not be interested in lol

Day to Day Life: Kazuma is often found in the archives, reading up on the world at large. He's also made a few treks to try and figure out the land--he should probably not do that so often on his own.
Current Plans: Working on establishing. At where he's from in canon he's trying to overcome his capacity for giving into negative emotions, which I am going to look into opportunities for. Potential for beasthood or corruption down the line is possible depending on events he gets tangled up in.

Character Name: L Lawliet (but the name he uses here, that you probably know him by, is Lazarus Sauveterre.)
Character Profile/Inbox: I'm going to do a handy dandy profile for L very soon but for now here is his App and Inbox.
Omen: Lycka is an orca whale matriarch. At her full size she's 25 feet long, but it's common for her to be tiny and swim circles around his wrist, or around the size of a labrador retriever in indoor spaces.
Bloodtype: Paleblood
Corruption Levels: Surprisingly negligible.
Beasthood Levels: Surprisingly negligible, as well.

Job Title(s): Recently an ex-nightwalker. He got let go for abusing his privileges.
Business: Currently job-searching. He has an interview lined up at the archives, which he navigates ridiculously well with a bonkers system of "intuition."
Where they live: He is transient, never staying longer than three or four days in one place. He moves his bedding to a new, pre-scouted location on a rotating and very complicated schedule and stays in hotels maybe once a week.
Relationship Status: Extremely single and resigned to the likelihood of staying that way (though the player never says never with proper development!)
Other close CR: L has gotten the closest to Paul Atreides, whose Paleblood abilities complement his own. They can accomplish a lot together. He has an often exasperated but ultimately affectionate impression of Shouyou, whose himbo energy is just a really nice breath of fresh air. He has a fascination/respect thing going with Illarion, who he calls "Moonsight" because moths and celestial navigation. He is sometimes study-buddies with Palamedes. Gideon Nav is probably the person he's met who gets him to surprise-laugh the most consistently. He relates to Deku's sense of duty. He's recently learned that another guy in trench, Kyle Broflovski, has an orca omen, and wants to find out why. He had a good talk with Haru at the Medicine Seller's. He met Sayo and Bigby at the Snake Den and is still determining what to make of them. He gave Sasuke some terrible advice about how to make friends and influence people.

Positive CR Desired: All the things. L gets along well with Smart People (TM) who are focused on the task at hand, and he responds to competition and rises to a challenge. He can be a surprisingly good team player because he knows how to allocate and direct based on where abilities can be the most effective. While this is all great for professional or mission-focused material, L is a deeply lonely character who grew up isolated and working pretty constantly from childhood in a pretty cynical career as a master detective. Having friends, or even acquaintances without ulterior motives or total necessity's dictation, is extremely new to him and he's outside of his comfort zone every time he even has a conversation with someone new. He's sort of a paradox in that he's resilient and competent enough at what is his element (investigation, deduction, really creative thinking and problem-solving) to make an excellent mentor figure to younger characters, but he's also childish and damaged enough that he could probably benefit from a parental/mentor figure of his own. His canon example of this was endlessly indulgent to his detriment; I'd love it if L had someone he respects a lot who challenged him to grow as a person and Be Better, specifically when it comes to how he relates to others and thinks about the world and his place in it (in short, he doesn't really consider himself a person and more of a very powerful machine in a very rubbish chassis, and I'd like to adjust this view.)

Romance of any kind takes a long time and a lot of careful development to make work with a character like L, but I'm open to sowing those seeds.
Negative CR Desired: L is at his very best when he has a RIVAL. Whether this is friendly, a blood feud, or just a petty competitive relationship, is there something L is doing that your character thinks they can do better? Do they love to hate him so much they're kind of fixated? Do they have (or can they get) dirt on him and hold it as leverage? Do they like him but think that the only way to get his attention is to compete with him? If any of this is true or this is something you want to work towards please hmu.

Additionally, I know that negative CR that goes nowhere is unpopular in this game, but if your character is a really unpleasant type I don't mind engaging this way, because I think that pointless bickering can make for some really absurd and funny threads.
Unwanted CR: Probably not casual sex partners at this point? Otherwise I am really open to everything, I'm a drowning turkey staring up at the sky during a rainstorm.

Day to Day Life: Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy L typically gets a pretty late start if he didn't stay up all night. If he did, he gets an inconveniently early start. Either way tons of coffee are involved. Currently jobless after a disastrous stint as a nightwalker, he's on his own insane schedule, spending a good portion of his days studying at the Archives, scouting out new living arrangements, and hanging out in Cassandra to hone his dreamwalking abilities. He can also be seen poking around in shops to see if there's any innovations he can incorporate in his own abilities or blood magic or ability to push his little frail body to the obscene max. If a new highly-caffeinated tea or concentration herb drops he'll be the first in line to try it. If something weird is going on, even on a mundane community level, he'll probably have the deets and the gossip concerning it because the foibles and tribulations of native Trenchies are like daytime TV for him. Reliably, he loves sugary foods but is wasteful with his food; it's pretty typical of him to get a donut, take three neurotic little bites, and leave the rest in a birdbath or something.
Current Plans: L's shoulders-deep in the Fated Leviathan player plot. He'll be in central command and it's a good chance to interact with him. Beyond that, I want new CR, and for existing CR to get deeper and more meaningful.
Event Plans: I have an open log for the month's events for L; prompts include his very bad job performance as a night walker, his traumatic public shedding into quite the hunk, dreaming in Cassandra, hanging out in the Snake Den, and encountering Unsnakely on the canals. Right over here, still accepting tag-ins!

Other: I'm in EST and tag at odd times throughout the day because I have three toddlers. I'm also active on plurk and accept any adds from current games I'm in, so please don't be shy about adding me there if you want to plot more actively!

Steeples fingers. There are so many directions we could go with continuing CR with this.

Sayo is going to be part of the coordinating effort (while also being on the front lines, it's Complicated) for fighting the Fated Leviathan, so they might bump into each other there. She's going to have her Worksona on and be acting entirely different from how she seemed in the club, claiming that she's just there to make sure everyone's eating and not overextending themselves, but all her orders and suggestions will get mysteriously mixed in with the chain of command and they'll all be startlingly effective, so if you want L to sleuth her out that could be interesting.

She's also going to get pretty heavily corrupted in February, and part of that will be seeking out very smart people, and will also involve a metric fuckload of Umineko spoilers if you're down for that.

Positive CR Desired: I was just joking last night that Renfri is amassing a TEEN BOY SQUAD so like. If you would like to be counted as a part of an unofficial gang of characters comprised entirely of teen boys please let me know. I'd also just like people she can feel comfortable around and open up to! I'm not really picky what shape that takes, romantic or platonic, I just want her to develop a support network and find a life in Trench that's better than the existence she left behind in canon.

We don't know a whole lot about her canonical interests because the only interest that matters is REVENGE but I personally love doing fish-out-of-water threads where characters learn things about each other's canons or about things that are new to them because they didn't exist in their canon (technology, pop culture, etc). She also likes swords and fighting and is apparently very good at teaching people things via fighting metaphors. That said, she's a former princess, so she's also educated in Typical Princess Things and has a fondness for her birth mother, along with being the unwanted recipient of a dark prophecy about how she and 59 other girls were going to fill river valleys with blood and prepare the way for the end of the world. Also she can dance?

Day to Day Life: Training at the beach, exploring Trench to familiarize herself with her surroundings, doing little pick-up ways of earning her keep, and drinking/gambling/familiarizing herself with the Hunters and the rougher elements of Trench society. (Old habits die hard.) This month in particular she's also been visiting The Red a lot, though her Madam Generosity-given dress has basically gone from THIS to THIS by now. Yes, she's still wearing it anyway. Go figure.

Current Plans: So Renfri's current big struggle is a self-identity kind of issue that involves an uncertainty over whether she was actually born monstrous (inherently and physically), or if circumstances just sort of led her to that ultimate outcome. Being given a fresh start in Trench, this is obviously a pressing question for her, now that it's been left wide-open for her to decide who she wants to be in this new environment. The problem is, she's spent so long doing nothing with herself but trying to kill the guy who ruined her life that she's having a bit of an Inigo Montoya moment where she's been in the revenge business for so long that she doesn't know what to do now that it's over with. (Clearly the next step is to become the Dread Pirate Roberts.)

Ideally I'd like to have her just sort of try things until she's able to ICly grow and find her own niche, but I don't really have set plans for that! I'd like it to be a little more organic, so I'm definitely open to running with opportunities depending on what comes her way through events and CR!

You can always run into him in either location, even at night some days. He's doing better now than he was previously, spending most of his time at the above locations. So maybe trying to mellow the Hunters out from the inside?

Current Plans: Right now, he's working on getting his feet under him. Down the line, I'd like to get him to join up with the Hunters. After all of the uncertainty and Bad Times for Warmbloods in October, he's looking more and more into actually doing something productive. Negative CR Desired: Similar to above. Angel can be pretty offputting and creepy for multiple reasons, especially sense he resembles a biblical angel in the whole giant white feathered wings and golden halo thing. If your character discovers his abilities (to kill by touch in a painless and go-into-the-light way, hand out sick ass magical weapons, form a contract to get powers because he is a literal devil) and asks him outright he will say no, but this could be a negative-to-positive CR over time. He's not really an 'arch-enemy' or 'hatred' kind of guy but it would be hilarious to play it out one-sided if your character is HOT blooded.

Day to Day Life: She's spends a good portion of the day at home, but she is often running errands for the household too. She often travels to the forest where her secret hideout is (an abandoned van from home), and she is often hunting toward the evening.

Positive CR Desired: Just about anything, but Bigby is gravitating towards becoming a bit of a mentor for people who are in a similar situation as himself (battling with a literal inner demon) so be on the look out for that if you want! Negative CR Desired: As mentioned above, I don't really enjoy negative CR that doesn't develop into anything and just remains pointlessly antagonistic until the end of time. Day to Day Life: Bigby really only goes into Trench on occasion to collect things to keep surviving in the woods, or items that are going to be trashed so he can tinker with it. Generally he keeps to himself, but his neck of the woods (heeheehoohee) isn't a kept secret either.
Current Plans: It's been a rollercoaster of killing Falco, learning Fern died, talking down Varian with a bunch of other people, and the shedding causing him to be both his best and then worst self. Despite all of that, he really is glad to be in Trench, even if he's struggling with the grief of what's happened and the harm he's inevitably going to cause/has caused under one of his shedding AUs. Future plans include getting a home finally in the city itself, setting up a small area for Ahiru to practice, and offering his "do you need help to try to make peace with your literal inner demon" services.
Event Plans: Party time low stressin', or alternatively if you want to be mauled by his AU self that's also a surprise option!

Fern gets along well with characters who enjoy fighting and violence, as well as morally grey characters since his moral compass is still pretty shaky at times. Other knights are always going to make him fanboy, and while he's trying to not latch onto parental figures in a way that exacerbates his abandonment complex he still likes them a lot. Found family is his jam. Nature cr and music cr are fun as well, since he's a literal plant and very musically-inclined.

Negative CR Desired: Sure! Fern is a stubborn, energetic, violent boy. It's pretty easy to build negative cr with him.
Unwanted CR: No romantic cr please, only unrequited crushes if you really want to go that route.

Day to Day Life: Fern spends a lot of time out and about doing Hunter and Architect things, fighting monsters, growing plants and mushrooms for people, and building weaponry and accessories like Wu's hat for the opening of the Raccoon Room. It's easy to find him around spaces in Trench that have plants or dirt, since he's trying to find any good spots with decent quality soil. He also enjoys being up high, especially so he can absorb what little sunlight there is for photosynthesis, so he can be found on rooftops.

Current Plans: Fern died recently! Due to Varian's increasing corruption he picked a fight with the Tower and got murked by Never Mind. He's been recovering from that this month, and dealing with the revelation that him dying is actually a big deal to people. Turns out when you're dead back home staying alive in Trench becomes way more important, who knew! When he's feeling better he'll be picking up building his deathtrap obstacle course, the Gauntlet.

Positive CR Desired: Families, friends, any!! I'm a SUCKER for found family - Varian takes a while to trust people but once they earn that trust, he is SUPER ride or die. Varian's an alchemist and a big science nerd, so anyone into that has an instant in with him. That said, he has plenty of non-sciencey friends too- he especially has a soft spot for Dumb But Nice types. He's a reformed villain so if your character ever needs help with redemption stuff, and to have someone who won't judge them too harshly for past misdeeds, he's a good person for that. And of course, I will never turn down trying out any kind of CR if you want to give it a shot!
Negative CR Desired: Varian can be an abrasive know-it-all who's pretty consistently stubborn and argumentative. If you want some easy negative CR, I am down for it- it's very easy to dislike him.

Day to Day Life: He spends a lot of time in his lab at home, but he does go to Willful Machine and Gaze a lot- to pick up alchemy supplies and to do some research respectively. He lost his right leg in Deerington and has a steampunk prosthetic.
Current Plans: He's getting used to having elemental powers and is being tutored on how to use them by Mako and Korra. He now has fire AND ice powers. He's finally started his personal project of making his own car which will eventually become a tetanus-filled nightmare, but he'll be super proud of it! After the mess of the last month, he's finally realised how unhealthy it was to study the death crystals and has moved on from that. He'll be happy to share his notes with anyone who wants to take on the mantel.
Event Plans: HERE is his December catchall where he got corrupted as hell and when Fern died got pushed into beasthood and rescued by his friends. Positive CR Desired: with albedo's canon point, he's gradually weaning himself out of that ~ human interaction is a waste of time ~ mindset; he's still going to be super slowburn city with building connections but! some basic ideas:

• characters he has given sketches to around the city and/or possible art buddies ( learning and otherwise + read: the job title bit above )
• characters he can sense an ~ otherworldly ~ vibe from who would consent to his ( harmless ) experiments. that, or someone he can feel less lonely around precisely because they feel different from the majority.
• no one will ever replace his master, but perhaps someone he is able to learn from for the time being and exchange #thoughts together. maybe have him dwell even more on the meaning and truth of the world as a whole, giving him brand new perspectives to consider.

I'm down for any parental figures, too, though anyone who actively tries to parent her may receive some pushback at first since she doesn't want anyone to replace her mother. She'll still come around, though.
Negative CR Desired: Mebh's a pretty outspoken kid who's proud of what she is (a Wolfwalker; i.e a kind of werewolf whose spirit leaves their body and becomes a wolf when they sleep), so I guess anyone who doesn't like feral hobgoblins probably wouldn't like her much.

Day to Day Life: Mebh spends her time out at Waystation, running around with her wolves and sometimes causing mischief in Ache for the fun of it. She only really goes into Trench when she wants to steal get food, because in her opinion, the food is the only good thing about towns. She does not like the idea of living there and suggesting that she should will be met with considerable resistance.
Current Plans: She's getting better about dealing with Robyn's departure these days, but it still hurts for her to think about. She's also still a little resentful of the fact that there aren't really any proper woods for her to live in. On the other hand, she's slowly warming to the idea that there are nice "townies" in Trench and that some of them can be trusted to help her.
