They really aren't, but that's what we're stuck with. She's still ruling, but she has us on her council and trusts us to give her input on things. The kingdom is looking a lot better for it. Better than what her dad did, anyway.

[ Wu sighs, his head falling back. He's so tired, the energy just drained out of him as soon as they made it to safety. Or, what he hopes is safety ]
Yeah, yeah! Good, we can help people. I want to, I want to make sure that people are safe here, too, but it's... without being in charge, I don't know how much I can do, and I really don't want to be in charge anymore.
[ He bites his lip, glancing at Varian ]
I suppose so. I, maybe it is real. Maybe we are in a new place. It's just so hard to believe.
Yeah, and Corona... well, we're still rebuilding after a pretty serious attack. There's a lot of voices shouting for attention. She's doing her best though. I know she's got the potential to be a great queen. I wouldn't have stuck around otherwise. [A pause.] Or...other me, stuck around, I guess now? That part's complicated too.
[Everything is complicated and he's just hoping it's going to get easier. He offers Wu a reassuring smile, putting a hand on his shoulder.]
Well. You don't have to worry about being in charge anymore. You can still do plenty while letting someone else take the lead. I know you've got it in you to do that.

I know. I was still half-convinced we'd all die when we crossed over. But we're here, it's a whole new life- and I think we can live it however we want to.
That part is complicated. I, I get that. The whole war thing. I have to clean up Kuvira's mess-- or other me has to.
[ He laughs weakly, glad for the touch. It makes him feel better, the pulse of feeling of another person next to him. He isn't alone, and that means something. He reaches up to grip Varian's hand ]
I hope so! I'd happily support others doing the right thing. But they aren't all be like your queen.
[ Wu looks out at the boardwalk with a soft smile ]
Yeah, it really is a whole new life. We can leave all of that behind and just... figure out what's next.

Trust me, there's only one Rapunzel in the whole universe. I don't think anyone can be like her. But helping people is a good start.
