[Mebh breaks into a run after her, happy to distract herself from this whole situation and stretch her legs. Despite how small she is, she's still a pretty strong runner as a wolf, so she's able to keep up with Alice fairly easily.]

[ Alice does have half as many legs despite her zest for speed. However, Mebh is close enough to the ground that she can spin around and leap clean over her, how's that for showing off! ]

[Mebh is certainly startled when Alice suddenly jumps right over her like that. On the other hand, that gives her a chance to run around and cut right in front of her to keep her from running away.]

[Mebh generally has pretty good reflexes as a wolf, so she's easily able to follow Alice's movements even when she tries to feint. It's obvious that she isn't taking this as a serious competition, though; she's just enjoying horsing around and having fun.]

[ We're all about horsing around here, or at least some sort of animal verbing around. Alice is absolutely prepared to run back and forth after and away from someone who has the will and ability to keep up all afternoon. She is going to take at least one full faceplant into the sand and keep on trucking, why would you wear anything if you weren't prepared to get it dirty?

...Wolf girl doesn't have to worry about that, it seems very convenient to have fur instead of clothes. ]

[Mebh never worries about getting dirty even when she's wearing clothes. It's why her feet are constantly caked in dirt most of the time, though her time as a squid in the ocean means she's mostly dirt-free for the first time in ages.

But for the time being, Mebh has forgotten about being a squid. After Alice gets up from her faceplant, she barks and wags her tail, encouraging her to keep going.]
