Hey, Deerlings!

First off, thank you so much to the mods for all their hard work on the game and a wonderful end to what's likely been a home game to so many of us here. Simcha, y'all are an awesome person, and it's been an absolute pleasure. I'm still sad the game has ended, a sentiment probably shared by a lot of us, but I'm so glad the game has been allowed to remain for us to play in! And many thanks to Rona and Beth for providing us with some additional content over the next few months, I'm very excited to see what's coming.

That being said, now that the game is in Sandbox I thought it might be a good shout to see who's still here with the drops no longer in effect. I'm not sure if this is everyone's experience, but it's a little hard to tell who's still active in the game as it shifts from active game into chill sandbox/epilogue.

Granted I am not particularly active right now due to RL things eating me alive and creating my own RP game and getting things ready for opening, but still here! I'm running slowly here, but I'm still around and plan to keep trucking. Deerington & Deer Country have been my home game for a long time; my guy has five years of development in the verse and I don't feel finished with his story! I'd love to keep playing however long others are interested.

I have Peter Graham possessum and gently plan to bring back Rose Da Silva horrormom (Rose is a packaged deal with her daughter, so she'll be around to play however long Sharon is. ♡)

He's been in Deer games for three years but there's still plenty of mileage left for plots, character developments, and opportunities for CR. I've been slow thanks to RL bonking me repeatedly over the head with a mallet for the last couple of months but hopefully that will all change. I was relatively new to Deer when it ended, but I love the setting enough that I want to stick around as long as it's alive. I'm always happy to plot ideas, either over PM or at cosmonautdelta!

Here inasmuch as I’m willing to backtag and get some closure, but RL has been keeping me too exhausted to play this summer and most of my closest CR has drifted. Realistically I don’t see myself doing much more than tying loose ends. I don’t have the energy to establish new CR with any meat to it right now.

Lucius in particular I have a half-written log of a bunch of event prompts from this year that I am going to finally post sometime, goddammit (hate having rl). Młynar in this setting amuses me too much to let go. I'm willing to bring Fakir back out as well if anyone's interested, but I don't think anyone's around who is.

There's still more to do with them. Pyrrha and Mayerling are invested in life here. Murderbot eyes the return home but cares more about people here than it'll admit, so it's staying for now. If it's people go, it'll go. We'll see how it goes! RL is being a time.

Lark here with ya bird dad, Illarion! I will be real, being an RL parent is kicking my butt (in great ways) but I still want to be a pretendy funtime parent too as I get time. I am fully here if you want me to slowly fling the bird at old stuff you wanted him on, new stuff, whatever.

Provisionally-- once I read back on the Reckoning's blessing & get an idea if this will work-- he will be going home for an in-game month (for Trenchies) / out-of-game couple of years to see that his self back on Nephele manages to rescue his daughter or at least let someone beside him know she still exists & needs to be freed from the Unearthed. It's the one thing he needs to see through himself before committing to the Pthumerians as their Disciple.
