Thank you for the feedback. We've added an update to the post above covering the direction we'll be moving in here. To sum it up: we'll be going forward with providing some optional ongoing content set in a location separate from Trench, accessible to anyone in the sandbox who wants to use it.

Considerations about splitting the player base were a priority for us as well when discussing what this might look like. The community of Deer Country is the heart of what we appreciate about the game, and we're glad the consensus that emerged out of this interest check was to keep things unified.
