Murderbot halts abruptly to turn and look at Judith. It stares at her eyebrows intently, practically makes eye contact. It waits until its acting human subroutine has it draw an imitation deep breath (it doesn't actually need to breath that deeply).
"We can't rightfully assume there is no danger—creature or worse—here," Murderbot retorts. "Being forcibly relocated is a bad sign. Being isolated from almost everyone in Trench is a bad sign. This whole place is constructed of bad signs."
