We are happy to have you here! This is our OOC Introduction Post for players to introduce themselves and their newest character for the game.

If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hi there! This is Beth (terriblepurpose) player of Paul Atreides (terriblepurpose) and Ortus Nigenad (noniad) bringing in a third character from the Locked Tomb novel series, Mercymorn the First. Mercymorn is a Lyctor, a kind of immensely powerful necromantic saint, who is also known as the Saint of Joy. This name is immensely ironic.

Mercymorn the First wants to speak to a manager. Mercymorn the First has spent 10,000 years mad and making it everyone else's problem. Mercymorn the First is a terrifying ancient flesh magician without parallel who has cultivated incredible pettiness and the ability to pronounce double exclamation points (like!! this!!) over developing a single scrap of likeability. (She is also the never married ex-wife Darth Vader of John Gaius, of recent local ocean deity disturbing fame, but she does not want to talk about that man!!)

In Trench, Mercymorn is a Vileblood who new blood power is the ability to infect others with the ability to share her physical and emotional state. She has a butterfly Omen whose name no one gets to know, a nasty attitude, and no plans except for making other people share in her furious, seething misery. Enjoy. (Your characters probably won't.)

I am also looking, off the bat, for people who might be interested in being trapped in a tentacle jail for a variable period of time - if that intrigues you, let's chat!

Hey! I'm Chrono (dragoon1940), brand new to the game and I bring you Battler Ushiromiya from Umineko, that whacky VN series that's all about murder and magic! He comes from relatively late in the series and as a result there's gonna be spoilers for that series all over his posts and interactions as a heads up! He was an average teenager (albeit one with a rich, large extended family which has problems) and recently stopped being estranged from his father! He's actually a relatively smart cookie, all things considered, and more recently has been playing games of murder and logic against a variety of witches in a another layer of meta-reality! Because hey, what else do you do when people start killing your family?

He's a good kid at heart, even if he's a bit brash, and he's willing to go to the mat for people and is generally just here to try and live! He'd like to figure this place out, though, because damn is he curious to unravel all of his. He's a Darkblood and he can alter reality in an area around himself - mostly shaping the environment or speaking truths into the world. His omen is a neat little cat, who is going to be following him around everywhere).

Mainly he wants to explore and see what this new shard has to offer him! His canon involves murder, some torture, and incest - so let me know if you'd rather those things not come up!

Hello, I'm Sil. I have two here now—Pyrrha Dve/Duty (martyrofduty) and Murderbot (here). I'm canon blind to Battler, but mine are both used to murder and terrible times.

Pyrrha is pretty easy to get to step in and parent kids. Murderbot is gonna be offering a place to come watch entertainment.



Incest-wise, I prefer to avoid subject matter with power dynamics that undermine the ability of a character to consent (easiest example maybe being parent/child, but it could happen in any configuration, including non-incest).

hello hello everyone, 'tis i, owlie (i play your resident bird boys, falco grice grice & shoyo hinata asas respectfully), and i have time to bring this no-fun no-feelings girl boss, 2B from yoko taro's wild ride, nier: automata!

2B is a very very advanced combat android made to fight for humanity! protecting humans is hardwired into her so she's probably going to go out of her way a lot of times to stab whatever is causing you humans distress. and i know i said no-fun no-feelings but the truth is 1) 2B knows nothing else besides work so we need to show her what fun is and 2) she is so full of feelings already, but she makes it a habit to tie her emotions down and stuff them with socks because of her particular line of work (military, spoilers, you know). i am planning to explore her feelings and relationships with people considerably as i have made her a paleblood with the intention of amplifying her empathy even more (and giving her future sight as a treat)! she also has a shrike for an omen that will go unnamed!

in short: she has long legs, rocks her built-in heels, kicks ass and is also secretly soft. add me @ liberos for plotting and stuff!

Yo! Gonna be honest here, most of what i know about her comes from my brother being a massive fan of her and the game, as well as her showing up in Soul Calibur 6. But even still, great to see her in Trench and here's looking forward to having to deal with that "no emotions but must protect humans" robotism. Dabi's not gonna "get" her at all if/when the meet. At least until he figures out "ah, robot" and sweeps all confusion under the rug, hah.

She still has so much swag in her skillset... Is she bringing Pod along?

Hi DC! I'm Jaina, a fresh newbie to the game and I bring Maria Thorpe from Assassin's Creed canon — specifically just after Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, a game with a good-ass story that tragically has potato graphics, so not a ton of people have actually played it. You may also know her from brief-but-memorable appearances in AC1 & AC2.

Maria is from 12th century England and is known for ditching her crappy first husband; disguising herself as a man to join the Third Crusade (think Robin Hood-era); impressing the Grand Master of the Knights Templar so much that he made her his personal steward despite the Templars having a very specific rule against that; disguising herself again as said Grand Master and fighting the Assassin who came to kill him to more-or-less a standstill and mouthing off while he had a blade in her face; escaping from that Assassin like 20 times during their handheld sequel game adventure; eventually telling her Templar brothers to fuck off when she realized she was much cooler than all of them; and in the future, getting her Assassin husband to chase her up a fortress tower and knock her up in the middle of enemy territory. Absolute legend if you ask me.

Maria is a coldblood who has the ability to wrap herself or any weapons she's using in elemental magic, has Bausphomette as a patron, and has a cool Northern goshawk as her omen. She washed up alongside her former enemy/current friend/not yet Assassin husband Altaïr but I am super excited for her to get out and about and make some solo friends as well. Frankly Trench is probably preferable to going back to England.

Hello again, everyone! This is Xae, player of Nico di Angelo (umbraportation) bringing you another tiny death child. This time it's Hotaru Tomoe from that manga Sailor Moon, and she is indeed one of the Sailor Scouts known as Sailor Saturn. She represents death, destruction, and helping bringing about rebirth -- Saturn may have ended almost everything that was left in the solar system after the Moon Kingdom's princess fell a long time ago. And age is just a number to her, tbh, since she has died and been reborn a few times. Anyway, she plays the violin, likes poetry and lamps, and sometimes act far older than she looks which is 10-11.

Here Hotaru is a paleblood bc lol, Moon Princesses. Most of her blood powers are going to be extensions of her canon abilities and things like full-on telepathy with strangers and dreamwalking will be ones she has to work at. Her Omen is a phoenix, that will shift through various cycles of life, death, and rebirth according to Hotaru's own life here.

Murderbot | The Muderbot Diaries

Hello! This is Sil (inoctavo | silyara#7604) previously here with Pyrrha Dve/Duty (martyrofduty) introducing Murderbot from The Murderbot Diaries. It's a bot-human construct—increased constitution, strength, and dexterity (among other things) for the low low price of depression & anxiety. Mostly, right now, anxiety.

Murderbot—who notes your characters don't get to use that name (it will use pseudonym(s))—formerly belonged to a bond company that provided security, mostly for mining and survey work. It has since provided security under a variety of (shitty) circumstances but less terrible than before. Due to having been part of a security system, it's really good at hacking them.

Relatedly, it is a Darkblood (who hates bleeding leaking, really) whose powers will be uncontrolled and not always work in its favor. It might become invisible or incorporeal or maybe unable to be perceived for a while. Alas blood powers not being a security system it can hack.

In Trench, Murderbot will become a Night Walker of the opens a movie theater/entertainment set up variety. It has a large supply of media and will gladly make copies of yours. Relax. Watch some media. Not everything has to be awful. Enjoy the absolutely unrealistic situations... Plus, as it gets to know you and your entertainment preferences, it can make better suggestions. It'll be a mix of scheduled/unscheduled and open to all/private(ish) options so it helps more people.

It's Tea, your Izuku "Deku you big damn hero" Midoriya player, here with my Original Asshole, my oldest muse, from damn near the opposite end of the morality spectrum: Altaïr. He's coming in after having gone through a lot of character development in original flavor Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, so he's not the annoying arrogant dick he started out as, but rest assured, his wisdom is only newly won, and he has a host of emotional, betrayal-related, and mentor/dad figure issues. Everyone please be ICly surprised this jerd is actually friends* with the amazing sword jock Maria Thorpe.

Altaïr is here with ALL his throwing knives, rejoice!!! and this spoilery little gadget which will cause problems for him and everyone else. As for Paleblood powers, his will only work the more Corrupted he is since I want to keep his special eyes intact. (That's a permissions form btw since it's an info-gathering ability.) Paleblood magic and Corruption will be very normal and fine™ temptations, as if the aforementioned gadget wasn't enough!

All his terrible forays into knowledge will be mostly innocent and stemming from good. He is a humanitarian, a protector of free will, a mentor with mentorship thrust too early upon him, and a firm believer in murdering a few key people for the greater good. I hate him so much. He's going to have a terrible time.

(Deku is staying as my main, he's very high maintenance, but Altaïr will be great as a low-key second muse. Altaïr builds CR very slowly because he's distrustful and also a giant loser. Please be patient with him!)

Hi there, I'm Prox! A brand new player bringing you Arcane's pointiest crime lord, Silco. (one name. like Madonna.)

While he has no canon powers (beyond access to thugs and drugs) he's coming into the game as a Vileblood, and he will be learning to withdraw blood from his eye to turn into various poisons/toxins/substances. Of course, this month all the blood powers are topsy turvy, so he may start out using a different blood power or not getting his to work at all before he settles into chem barony.

I'm keeping Silco's TDM threads as canon (which means he has also manifested his octopus Omen) but would love to have him start to establish somewhere to stay, something to do, and people to manipulate. He's a bit out of his element (as he's the kind of villain who prefers having people to do his dirty work for him) but he also tends to make the best of a bad situation and take opportunities for power wherever he sees them, whatever the cost.

Finally if your character knows Vi (or knew Jinx) you might have heard of Silco and I would love to touch base!

HELLO another newbie to the game jumping in headfirst with a brand new character of Oberon, from that one gacha game where you summon hot heroes from across history aka Fate/Grand Order.

I'd been wanting to play this guy for a while but my schedule only recently settled down enough so I am excited! He's coming in as a Vileblood because I have a horrible sense of humor and will probably be a shameless freeloader until/unless he finds something he considers worth doing. Don't loan him money. Or anything else you really want to have returned/repaid.

As an aside, since he's from the end of a story chapter that is not out in English yet, I will be largely be avoiding major story spoilers. Luckily, some of the quirks of Oberon's character make this relatively easy to do! But just noting that "no spoilers" will be my default setting, and I will ask/warn if it seems likely that something would come up. :|b

Hi I'm Yubsie (yubsie), brand new and bringing another dash of chaos for the Star Wars cast in the form of Jaina Solo.

Jaina comes from the old Expanded Universe and is Anakin Solo's older sister. Except she's from an earlier canonpoint and very offended that her little brother is not only older than her but also taller.

She's fourteen years old and a student at Luke's Jedi Academy and very much her father's daughter. She's also very much her mother's daughter but she doesn't realize this as she knows her mother as the Chief of State of the New Republic, not the holy terror that she was as a kid.

She's coming in as a Paleblood to compliment her canonical Force abilities.

What's up buds it's Laura (I play Palamedes/megatheorem and Carver/bigfinish) here for some third character goofin'. This is Hector from Castlevania, specifically the Netflix animated series. For those familiar, he's from the end of season 4, so that he might one day... have a decent day.

Broadly: Hector is a lonely weirdo necromancer who likes to revive dead animals for pets, does not like human beings despite being one (he's not not justified in this), and goes back and forth on whether or not he's still cool with vampires. It's complicated. He's shiny and easy to trick, basically, much as he believes he definitely knows better now and will not be easily flattered into a bad situation Yet Again.

Along with being a necromancer he is something called a Forgemaster, which means he can summon demon souls into corpses to make nightmares!! Yay!! But he's also a literal, like, smith. He knows how to use a forge. He can make things if needed.

Here in Trench he is a warmblood, patron Cloverfield (although he will absolutely be suckered into thinking Mother Mercy is real and legitimate as a patron for a while), and his omen is Cezar, his little undead pug puppy. Cezar is very sweet and loves you like a normal dog, just with bone exposed.
