What CR you would like to develop for this event: Given the path Satoko's headed down in this event, it's probably best for any new CR to be negative or neutral. Most of what she's doing is going to be, uh. Pretty bad! Open/Closed to New CR this event: Y, but only for the beach prompt. I mean, if you really want to be involved in the first two, you can?? I'm definitely around for helping people's characters suffer. It's just not gonna be a good time for anyone. What CR you want to avoid this event: People successfully reasoning with Satoko or calming her down. That's for after things go to hell.
Timeline/Event Ideas: OHHHHH BOY, HERE WE GO
So basically, Satoko is being possessed by The Evil - and specifically the possessive, "hide your friends" type Evil. This is a very bad impulse to give to someone who can loop and rewind time at will! As a result, Satoko is going to be systematically tracking down her closest CR and, uh. Throwing them into a basement to make sure they don't get caught up in this nonsense. This is, as you might expect, going to go poorly for literally everyone involved! She's probably got less than twenty-four hours (Trench time, not looper time) from her first kidnapping to Chara kicking down her door and starting the murder-suicide loop. What murder-suicide loop, you ask? I'm glad you're wondering!
In Higurashi, there's an odd condition on Satoko's loops: the more she loops, dying and letting others die around her, the more those closest to her start to remember those loops. As her way of proving her love, and the love others have for her, she's going to rapid-fire kill the targets of her affection, then herself.
And then she'll do that over- and over- and over- and over- until her CR can start to remember parts of it. This is probably going to get intervened with in a number of chaotic ways, and I'm not even going to try and write down just how bad that clusterfuck's going to get!
Finally, when all that's worked out, Satoko's going to grab the gun in her room and head to the beach. If you want your character to get judged for the absolute pettiest of reasons before a blonde teen tries to shoot them, this is your golden opportunity! I'm fine with people escaping; even though she can rewind time, she's going to be corrupting pretty heavily and not thinking straight by this point.
