For this event in particular, please remember that there are safe havens from corruption and darkness, both player run (The Sanctuary, Sakura's Mental Health Clinic, etc.) and in the locations map. These will function throughout the plot.

GOOD AND EVIL

CONTENT WARNINGS: Violence, revenge, possible torture, possible death, mental manipulation

An excerpt from the book Thus Comes the Reckoning:

Are we inherently good or evil? Are we hard-wired for empathy? Or is violent behavior our innate reaction when the world has done us wrong? This is something that has been debated for centuries, even in the times Before Sodder. Have we evolved since the Dreamless World? Since the Nightmare? Have the Pthumerians and their blessings made us more peaceful and understanding?

While it is true that our world is more generous and caring than the ones we have read about in the Dreamless World, where in spite of our shortages, we want for nothing that we truly need, the very existence of corruption and beasthood should speak of our true natures and of the true natures of Sleepers. There is no time that this is more prominent in our world than in the month of July, when the Reckoning holds sway.

It is unclear if it is the unbearable heat, the Pthumerian's influence, or perhaps just our true selves coming forth, but each July is the prelude to chaos. The pleasantries die off, the generosity wanes, and we forget the lessons of our more kind and gentle benefactors. Fist fights over minor disagreements, people attacking one another with weapons when they don't get their way or wait too long in line, and murders over the loss of a game. Does the summer make monsters of us all? Or does the Beast Moon simply encourage what is already inside of us?

Sleepers will find themselves encouraged towards violence. Many will be drawn to do evil. They will feel a pull to hurt others, particularly those who have hurt them first. Anger will seem like a natural state and many will find that they have lost all ability to reason when they become even minorly frustrated. Vigilante justice will seem like a great idea. Did someone hurt your loved one? Then tear them apart! Did a person borrow something from you and never return it? End them. Criminal activity will skyrocket, particularly violent criminal activity, throughout the month of July. People will feel more inclined to steal, to damage property, to kill, and to get revenge. Torturing others will seem like a perfectly reasonable idea. It is the month to do so and it might even feel good to hurt other people.

Sleepers will also feel violently protective of those they love. They will want to make sure that the violent crimes happening to other people doesn't happen to their people and they might go to such extremes as locking their loved ones up so that nothing can get to them. It's an obsessive need to protect and not let go. Someone might even feel so inclined as to kill their friends just to make sure that no one else can hurt them.

On the flip side, those who manage to resist the violent urges will be more inclined to help those who are violent. Even if you are someone who has never wanted to help another person, you will be drawn to do good. It's not impossible to talk others down, to sway them to being better people and to remembering who they are. It's just a lot of work. But still, those who are impacted by the good will feel that same need to protect others; only for them, it doesn't have to necessarily be someone they know. They want to do the right thing, to protect people from themselves. Unlike the evil, they will know their are limits, and they will not hurt others in their attempt to protect them. But they may end up being willing to, possibly uncharacteristically, sacrifice themselves to do so.

QUICK FACTS: 1. You can only be impacted by The Good or The Evil at one time. Someone who is Good can be corrupted into becoming Evil. If someone is talked down from being Evil, they can either go back to being their normal selves, or they can become impacted by The Good instead. This can happen as many times in the month as possible, but they can only be Good or Evil at one time. You can not be both at once.

2. Characters who can usually heal demons/possessions/etc. can cure Evil in people. Their powers will work the same as they would in their canon/from their blood powers. Game based items that would normally cure corruption however will NOT work to cure Evil. They will still work to cure corruption/beasthood.

3. The Reckoning can still punish you. Just because you're being influenced by outside forces won't matter to her. If she catches you doing something bad and it isn't for revenge purposes, she will punish you as she sees fit. This is left up to player interpretation.

FORTUNE'S FOOL

CONTENT WARNINGS: Star-Crossed lovers, encouraged suicidal ideation, possible death

Love. A complicated feeling that puts people into complicated circumstances. And yet, people will find themselves focused on this emotion more so than usual this month. For someone who is already in love, the emotions will become even stronger, almost overwhelming, wanting to burst out of them like a song. For those who were not in love before, they may find themselves suddenly easily falling for others. Maybe they will love multiple people or maybe just one, but love will be an all consuming emotion to those who fall victim to it.

The only problem is that love isn't always accepted. People who are deeply in love will suddenly start to feel persecuted and judged from those around them. They will feel as though their love is unallowed, that the person that means the most to them is being rejected by their family, their friends, by society itself. It doesn't matter if that's the truth: there's just something inside of people that makes them thoroughly convinced that their love is not meant to be. Star-Crossed. Unattainable.

There will be an increased urge to solidify that love as being real and unbreakable. Maybe this is done through fighting back against those who are saying no. Maybe it comes in the form of secretly saying vows and loved ones spiritually tying themselves together forever. Or maybe in the end, the only true way that lovers feel they can truly be together... is in death. All of these will seem like reasonable options— or maybe even the only option. Love is never ending, after all, even if life is.

QUICK FACTS: 1. Anyone can fall in love with anyone else. It doesn't have to be the character that you're already shipping with if all players agree! You can fall in love with someone you know, someone you've just met, or even a total stranger. Love is a gift to everyone, right??? Who needs pesky things like introductions.

2. You do not have to commit suicide. You can, of course, and many will definitely feel drawn to it with the basis of the prompt, but it is not required. Please make sure to mark all threads accordingly!

3. The persecution against your relationship does not have to be real. You can, however, tie this into the first prompt, and have even the smallest slights be reason to think that your love is persecuted. Similarly, people who are impacted by the first prompt may be more likely to actually shun those who are in love. Feel free to work with it however you see fit!

OUR OWN PRISONS

CONTENT WARNINGS: Self-hatred, judgement, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, possible drowning.

Everyone has personal flaws. Things about themselves they don't like, reactions they wish they didn't have, habits that they want to break. Sometimes the awareness of flaws can outweigh the awareness of our strengths as well. It's easy to get caught up in the feeling that we're less then perfect, that we'll never be able to fix ourselves no matter what we do.

This month, those feelings seem to be amplified. Sleepers will see flaws everywhere; in the people they love, in the Trenchies, and most heavily in themselves. Feelings of self-hatred and judgement will be amplified and even those who are usually confident in themselves will find that they're suffering from it. Sometimes these feelings may manifest as a simple bout of anger and depression; but for others, it can become more severe quickly.

Those who find themselves suffering heaviest from these feelings will feel called to the ocean. Maybe it's a desire to go back to a squid form, a place that's simpler and more straight forward. Or maybe it's the unbearable heat that's putting these thoughts in someone's head and they'll feel like going for a swim would cure it. But there's something inside everyone that knows that if they go into the ocean, they might not come back out again.

Sleepers will feel like the ultimate judgement is waiting for them out there. If they are seeing flaws more in themselves, being by the ocean will amplify feelings of suicide. If they're seeing flaws in everyone else, they might feel compelled to bring those people down to the ocean to drown them. The ocean, associated so heavily with rebirth, could be the very thing to cleanse people of their imperfections, after all. Maybe it would be a favor to everyone if someone just gave in and tried to fix themselves and others. For the good of Trench.

QUICK FACTS: 1. These feelings can cause people to become more corrupt. The longer they are exposed to these feelings, the closer they will get to high levels of corruption, and eventual beasthood.

2. Because these feelings can cause corruption, they can also be relieved through the same methods as corruption. Talking, touching, Moon Drops, get some therapy, whatever the player chooses.

3. People who do not address their feelings and/or who spend too much time by the ocean will inevitably deal with feelings of suicide and/or homicide. Please be sure to handle these topics appropriately and content warn your threads.

Timeline/Event Ideas: Nara'a is largely going to be possessed by The Good, as I... really can't make a case for him being Evil, even with prompting.

He will not really be taking part in Our Own Prisons, however:

If you need someone to save your character, he can do it. He's a strong swimmer and can breathe underwater, so he can help people. Once he realizes there's a Trend, he will absolutely patrol the beach until he drops.

This will have the side effect of making him stay out in the moon for longer, which is going to increase his corruption, which he will need someone to point out to him and even then he might not stop.

What CR you would like to develop for this event: L has lost a close friend due to a drop. People who encourage him to trust are welcome. As always rivals and adversaries are welcome, because he is a working detective and I'm doing my best to work cases into his routine (and I will work with you if you want your character to be a perp, witness, victim, or partner!)
Open/Closed to New CR this event: Always and forever open. I'll throw my bloomin' tailfeathers into it if you want to establish something new, cool or crazy!

What CR you want to avoid this event: Paramour! L's kind of taken in that regard.

Timeline/Event Ideas: L's got a bit part in Boatgate in early July. In mid-July he'll get cocky dreamwalking, and get himself killed by the Emperor for a really unforgivable trespass. Once he resurrects (a few days) he's available, but centered around Shoyo and Sansa as well as his other notable CR. He has suffered enough this month so I want to say that the Reckoning has called them square.

L struggles with feeling that he's not completely human, and therefore might not be entirely deserving of the love that humans accrue over the course of their lives. His boyfriend Shoyo has put lots on the line for him and this month may be complicated by feelings of guilt and sadness.

Good and Evil: L will be influenced by good and go out of his way to protect those he loves, or give leeway to those who could be granted the benefit of the doubt.- So L does not properly understand love. It's a thing that feels good, sure, but there's the love of his career, the love of a hot young thing in bed with him, the love of a platonic Bond who relies on him for stability and wisdom. There's a lot, and he's confused. He has a boyfriend and might try to reaffirm this! But depending on events and influences he might also be deeply depressed and decide that the only good way to save others from the awfulness that is him, is to take matters into his own hands. This would be dark so I'd need it to be super significant for character development!

Fortune's Fool- L has attachment issues and would probably fuck things up royally with Shoyo here. I'm committed to a monogamous ship, but it seems like the event encourages crushes elsewhere so hit me up if you want to shatter this pinata.

Our Own Prisons- L will be very susceptible to returning to the ocean. In canon he related heavily to the "monsters" he fought and even called himself the same; he will absolutely reach a point where he comes to feel that those he cares about are better off without him.

A crushing sense of responsibility (OR a no-nonsense friend) can pull him out of this, but for a little while, anyway, he'll be that guy lying on the beach wondering if it would have been better if he'd just been eaten by a shark before drifting beachward.

This event could also be a unique opportunity to play some negative CR for Scorpia, although it will be in a temporary sense on her behalf, as she will be her normal friendly self after the event and will most likely seek to make things right with/befriend others she's clashed with during the event.

Timeline/Event Ideas:

- Good and Evil: I am actually feeling his chance to show Scorpia with more negativity. She will alternate between the bad and the good throughout the month. As the evil, she's open to conflict with others or others trying to calm her down. And as the good (and her normal self), she will absolutely be trying to cool others down even if she's endangered in the process! I am open to character injury in the process, but reluctant about any kind of death.

- Fortune's Fool: This one feel less definite about doing. I feel like I would prefer to play this up in a comical fashion, considering the characters are imagining reasons to be starcrossed lovers. For the potential partner, I could be open to trying to pair her up with some woman in her age range (20s). And as noted above, I'd prefer to steer clear of the suicide aspect of the prompt.

sansa will be affected by the GOOD but good is not always NICE. actually it's kind of judgey and impatient and tired?? sansa will go into overdrive trying to save people from themselves but also be very annoyed with them for making her do it. she will especially enjoy telling you that your violent revenge plan is stupid. she is generally great at deescalation and will feel less reserved than usual about emotional manipulation or showing her hand.

she's going to spend a lot more time at the sanctuary and the wellness center treating corruption and generally helping. a lot of night walkers seem to be in triage mode and aren't as interested in custom couture this month for some reason......

mostly she will shut down to avoid saying the Wrong Thing since everybody is acting like kingslanders but she can be easily provoked into a very precise and vicious roast. the more she gets away with this, the more likely it is to happen. ALSO her omen will be with her when she's treating corruption, and will be glad to give voice to whatever she's holding back.

I should also say that since the vibe at large is a lot closer to sansa's perception of king's landing than usual, she's going to be even more protective of lady, which includes insisting that she's not a wolf (though she is now the size of a regular grey one) and keeping her hellhound nearby in case of emergencies (generally borzoi sized and shaped tho eerily black as her omen is eerily white, fun normal dog personality). so there will probably be three massive dogs with her at all times...she will also be interested in learning to use cold bloodstone to cool down lady (have you ever seen a sled dog on the subway in summer.......it's bad), and later in the month will probably have ambient air conditioning from her cold bloodstone stacking rings

for a week from....now, she will have bird problems that will be resolved by a dream journey with l to retrieve her missing soul fragment. l will die immediately after this. it's fine. she'll be looking for opportunities to help neutralize the emperor and form alliances but she is still very much playing the long game and she has a lot of other things going on in her life.

also she and luna will be doing a gentle ritual in the courtyard of the sanctuary to ask for moon presence's protection during the beast moon!! characters are welcome to join them in singing songs and lighting candles

god okay and she's a paleblood who feels very strongly about vileblood being useful and not inherently bad or corrupt (just a lil dangerous, like her wolf...) and would GLADLY swoop in to rescue any vilebloods being harassed by locals (or anybody??) for their bloodtype

Monthly Pacing: I have been DROWNING in tag burnout lately especially since I've also had a lot of write-ups I'm doing, so I super apologize for being slow and am trying to get on top of it! Generally I have 1-2 threads I boomerang wildly at a time and chew on the rest as my brain allows.

Timeline/Event Ideas: Sanctuary has been blessed by Moon Presence for the month of July thanks to Luna and Sansa's efforts, meaning that 1) the effects of July are lessened to those staying inside its doors, and 2) any individuals bearing violence towards Sanctuary or the people in it will be physically repelled, so there will be a rush to clear rooms for people to temporarily stay in if they want. So I'll be doing an open log for that and other settings updates that will be keeping Allen busy. Training room is opening up! Lunar cooling thanks to Viktor thank god! Port in the storm from Boatgate! hrk. And he's fully recovered from his death at long last and will be jumping back into saving Beasts full time, and over-training to try and get his strength back. And beginning to train at Sasuke's Super Awesome Ninja School as a result. :)

Good and Evil: While Evil Allen would be utterly amazingly and not something anyone should have to suffer... darker Allen is something I would rather develop gradually and I already have a few ideas for that. So he will be influenced by Good and thus... totally his normal self lol. However... I might plan a single thread with someone where he does go Evil. Maybe. It will depend, but he can undo it himself quickly if someone can make him realize there's something wrong with him. As, yes, his sword will cut the Evil from someone! So if anyone needs that, I present u with one (1) self-sacrificing Exorcist.

Fortune's Fool- HAHAHAHAAAAA-- please have weird, creepy crushes on him. It's canon, he's used to this. Although he has enough trouble otherwise with the not-a-triangle he's found himself in so I'm not going to be having him developing any random smitten feelings, especially as he's the king of crushing and ignoring them anyway. ... also because he has a Full Charmer Mode when it suits him and no one should be on the receiving end of that. _{Unless it would be hilarious and fail.} And as Allen is the literal definition of love itself and has boundless oodles of the purest kind for humanity and the people he cares about, people can expect him to be especially fond of and considerate and gentlemanly around them to the point where you'd squint and kinda wonder. He'd even bring them snacks/want to share his snacks, gasp!

That said he is going to be trying to charm Abigail, the primary cook at Sanctuary. He canonly said he'd marry the head chef at the Order if he were a woman, so damnit he's gonna try with her. Everyone is free to notice this and how she Tolerates him and find it appropriately failcute. It's like the love a puppy has when you feed it.

Our Own Prisons- Not keen on the ocean end of the plot, but I do love the idea of becoming increasingly focused on personal flaws. Allen is prone to dwelling on that anyway and will be struggling with that, internally as always, so I'd love opportunities where he might open up a little to others about that (it's hard, probably just with his closest cr). And he's great at talking with other people about this own struggles and being a good empathetic ear, giving out tough love punts on warranted occasion, etc.

What CR you would like to develop for this event: Oh, boy. I'd love for Himiko to have a way to play hero for a few people - especially in a way that doesn't completely backfire on her! As stupid as it sounds, she's had an absolutely miserable few months (with a few notable exceptions), and being able to tangibly help would do a lot to keep her moving forward.
Open/Closed to New CR this event: Absolutely open!
What CR you want to avoid this event: I'd rather Himiko not die unless she saves someone else in the process. Past that... She's already on the bad side of a decent few people, so while I'm not entirely against it I'd rather her make fewer enemies throughout the event if possible!

Timeline/Event Ideas: Himiko is going to be possessed by the Good as soon as the event hits! (Well, technically, she's going to be hit by the Evil on event onset, but she's so used to those thoughts and how to redirect them productively that she'll just be shifting pretty much immediately.) As a result, she's going to be trying to act like a hero the whole time, even more than usual - making rounds around the city, checking the beach to make sure people aren't being drawn in, and trying to interfere with situations that might lead to people being hurt.

She'll also being trying to connect with people that are giving in to the Evil, since she's someone who understands the urges and feelings way too well already. If you want a hero with a knife and creepy eyes to try and reason your character down - or to fight to a standstill and then try, shounen manga style - Himiko's your gal!

Himiko's Love is also going to be present and accounted for. She's going to be feeling a lot more affectionate than usual, which is... really saying something. Castmates, roommates, and anyone who's remotely her type are probably going to be on her radar. And as anyone canon-familiar can attest, Himiko's entirely too familiar with her love being seen as something disgusting. Given her possession by The Good, that's going to make her imposing on people fairly difficult.

So, to manage that, she's going to be taking the L and assuming that all of her crushes, her love, and her obsessions are unrequited! In some cases, like with her actual partners, it'll probably be worked out pretty quickly, at which point she'll... Probably lavish them with lovebites, sob around them for a while, and maybe suggest bloodbonds because she likes moving fast. In most cases, it just means Himiko will be more obviously over the moon for your character. And if you're interested in having your character fall in love with Himiko... Well, she'll probably still harbor a flame for them even after the event. She's just. Kind of like that.

FINALLY, I'm mildly interested in the beach prompt for her - but only in the case of her stopping people from going in, and potentially someone stopping her as the month progresses. As debilitating as the feelings around it might be, it'd do her a lot of good to know that someone would rather not see her vanish!

So, given how many people close to him have gone back to the ocean lately, and Shiro's general habit of blaming himself, the OUR OWN PRISONS prompt is going to be hell on him. He'd already been heading toward corruption the last few months. These combined events are going to basically push him into BEASTHOOD for most of the month.

His is based on the Taken from Allen Wake (example here, and design here.) It's going to be acting on a lot of his repressed emotions - because Shiro buries things down better than a mole. This will come up in a lot of SMASH SMASH violence, because... well. Sometimes you just wanna go apeshit. That and him repeating stilted lines he often says like a broken record. A creepy horror movie broken record.

But also toying with the idea of him attempting to throw his remaining CR into locations he thinks are "safe". By any means necessary. Probably going to change on a character-by-character basis but I'm absolutely up for plotting things out or any other ideas for new CR.

Also totally open to how he comes out of it too. Because right now, I'm not totally sure how that's going to happen...

Timeline/Event Ideas: Timeline is a little wild this month, but here goes!

July 5-8th (approx)

• Boat trip and participating pirate sacrifice results in full blown corruption. She has full use of magic again. Oscar is killed by Chara, so she tries to kill them, and is critically injured in the attempt. Rescued by Faith, and taken to Constantine's old place to recover.


• She will talk Faith into joining her revenge plans, and try to do the same to Luna (Faith joins her, Luna does not)


• Faith and Willow kill Savage and Maul together, and go for slushies afterwards.


• They kill Sayo when she turns up to try to stop Willow.


• Willow sees Johnny on the street and decides to kill him, which is the final straw for Faith. They fight, Johnny saves Faith from being killed, but dies himself.


• Runs into Tara, who tries to talk her down. Tara is knocked unconscious, and left out under the moon to corrupt.


• Willow returns to the cottage, where she is confronted by Ford. She teleports him away, and retreats to the clocktower in Gaze, considers starting a fight with Never Mind.


• Ozpin and Faith confront her and she is killed.

Happy to plot with anyone who wants confrontation or death from Dark Willow! For the most part, she won't go out of her way to indiscriminately attack anyone not already on her vengeance list, unless they try to stop her.

July 15 (approx)

• Willow comes back from the dead, but thanks to letting Jod experiment with her soul to try to cure wolfwalking, she respawns in her Omen while her squid body is apparently sleeping. Ange will restore her.


• No doubt lots of apologizing to the people she's done wrong by!


• Breaks up with Tara out of fear she'll hurt her again.


• Trying to sort out Faith feelings in the wake of everything


• She will likely be prone to Our Own Prisons style self-hatred.

Good and Evil: I'm not sure which way to go with this one. Fel is extremely morally grey... he's technically a good person who wants to make the world a better place but he has done some terrible and selfish things in the past. He's also already strongly inclined towards vigilante justice (I'm starting to think The Reckoning should have been his patron, oops). Maybe "violently protective" could be a thing for him? Not sure.

Fortune's Fool: Imagine knowing your own emotions well enough to understand what the hell love is. Sounds fake. Possible awkward one-sided things with an emotionally challenged robot? I don't know, this one is a tough one for him.

Our Own Prisons: I was going to say he doesn't really have any insecurities outside of the whole thing about not being human, BUT he's still got a huge amount of guilt over getting the rest of the Iron Lords killed. It's big and messy and complicated because he accidentally led them into a trap set by Rasputin (his AI father) and in his arrogance/foolishness thought that his connection with Rasputin would allow him to convince him to help them. There's a lot to unpack there. That said, his most likely reaction to this sort of thing is just isolate himself completely, so his corruption levels will probably be getting kind of high this month.

On the other hand he is... not really judgemental unless someone is a genuinely terrible person. Specifically, he has issues with unforgiveable abuses of power over the powerless (violence, subjugation, exploitation, etc.) but I don't know if that's something that would come up with anyone here. Also his most likely reaction to that involves his shotgun, so, you know. Good luck.

Unfortunately, it's going to start off with her discovering quite a few of her friends are gone, in particular Korra, one of Luz's closest, so that's going to start her spiral into these particularly bad situations.

Good and Evil

Luz will be doing her best to resist those violent urges, though she is going to feel pretty stressed to say the least, and is going to be in particular fully susceptible to wanting to protect those she loves, so that may make her prone to violently trying to help, likely with some mixed results.

Fortune's Fool

This will probably kick into play in a big way, what with Luz still trying to find her place in Trench after a month and feeling like most of the people she knew and cared about have left her. This will kind of spiral her later into the month to the point where she will heavily consider going back into the ocean, for which I have no issue with anyone trying to talk her out of THAT whole mess!

• i'm flexible with dates so possibly anywhere between the 7th-8th falco will reincarnate wrong; he will be stuck in the last vessel he was in for the rest of july, being: his winged flesh mecha!
• falco will not be available around his usual hangouts in trench for the rest of july! he is nearly ten meters tall! doubled with trenchie violence being high esp toward vilebloods, that he can't fly safely and he looks suspiciously lethal, he will try his best to stay away. ultimately, this leaves him without means of communication, so cr that may notice he's actually missing is free to ask, look around or even find him in their efforts! he's really hungry and probably needs to be fed trucks of food to feel a pound satisfied :'(
• as mentioned above, he can be found cooped up in the rocks/farthest shore caves and passing the time digging up rocks and fossils. characters can grab what they find, and make up awesome dead creature parts to be found in the fossils!
• also sometime mid-july, he will be approached by illarion to help fly a group out to sea to soothe mariana. interest check for that here!

• nnnnnow this is more a mental note for end of july/beginning of august, but how things will go after the power warp ceases: either falco will have to die again to be returned to his normal body or he will need to be cut out of his titan. options involve mercy killing for the latter (the quick, no pain option), major body horror for the former (the painful, ugly but no-death option) since human bodies end up fused with the titan vessel if they're in there for too long, so he's just gonna be melted meat all over the place until he regenerates properly. just sticking my feelers out there for interest since he's going to need help with it one way or another, but i have all month so there's no rush! preference for established cr, but if it fits dang well with new cr, why not!

Timeline/Event Ideas: OKAYYYY!!! So, Ochako sure did pick a fantastic time to get a boyfriend, durhurhur. In that regard, for the Fortune's Fool plot, she's probably going to be questioning her new relationship with Bakugou and think people are judging her/making fun of her for falling for something "like that" and so "different" from her. It'll all be in her head mostly, but I'm willing to have her be paranoid or uneasy around others who who or have an inkling about her feelings for him. It's not been ICly stated she's dating him, so characters would not know this, please keep that in mind!!

She might also be locked in her house by protective BF and have to break out, so there's that, lel.

But, as her fear/paranoia grows, she's probably going to have a swing from Good and Evil where she was mostly possessed by Good to be a bit more inclined to Evil. It'll start by her being snappy, rude, mean...abrasive, and generally just very unlike her usual self, and just keep getting worse, unless someone helps. I want her to get into fights, whether that be stopping people from doing bad things when she's Good, or going truly ApeShit™ and attacking first. I'm open to whatever!!! But for the majority of the event, I would like her to be Good as well.

It's not going to be his old brand of Traditional Demon Evil so much as an overzealous effort to protect his friends and punish wrong-doers, as he'll be progressing along his Celestial corruption track for the first time. His previous experience with Corruption has all been the other track, so he won't recognize it as easily.

It'll come to a head when a mob goes after his buddy Vyng, whereupon he's going to kill some of them, go full Beast for the first time, and kill several more! After becoming a Beast, he's going to roam the city viciously attacking people he sees doing bad things, or who he knows to have done them already, which means that he'll actually probably end up attempting to fight other Evil-afflicted people. In this Beast form, he'll refuse to defend himself against anyone he doesn't consider evil, so basically anybody can kill him. Or uncorrupt him, if you're somehow able? Open to ideas!

It could be interesting to have him and Paimon really going against each other this time — Peter's Evil-afflicted, and Paimon's going to be revved up on all the bad energy around the town and just going really volatile a lot. Considering Peter has lost a ton of his CR recently, this month could be an... interesting one for him to meet some new folks, and to continue exploring his existing CR, as well. I'd love to dig in deep to various angsts and pains, indulge in chaos, really anything here.

GENERAL. Lordy, I'll try to lay it out... I'd love to do threads involving anything listed here, so if you'd like to do a thing with any of this, I'm absolutely down!

— Appropriate for the month of The Reckoning and as a result of the Emperor fucking with Mariana, the spirit of Peter's dead little sister will be coming out directly (information here). He won't have any awareness of this, but Charlie will absolutely be on his mind all month long, considering his perpetually guilty conscience is because he feels responsible for her death. I'm wide open for characters getting to meet and interact with her! Come babysit a six foot tall 13-year-old little horror girl.....
— Peter will be branded with an M for Murder at times throughout the month (I would love any kind of interaction this could incite; maybe Fellow Sinners to angst with or people to Judge Him... Peter will actually be wanting judgment, as he functions through his guilt and feels he deserves punishment for what he's done).
— Later on in the month, Peter will be accompanying Luna Lovegood on a little mission to try and appease Mariana. (Illarion's comment here about how the ritual will go down / Peter's comment here about my own ideas / plotting potential). I'd love to do things with anyone else involved there! This'll be Peter's first time really willingly giving the kind of help he can provide — which is essentially to be the medium for a higher supernatural entity to work through.
— Peter will be losing a lot more of his close CR this month, which will be adding to his feelings that he's being punished / deserves punishment / making his mental state worse.
— Peter will be continuing to tell people about his demonic possession, as he works towards "accepting" this fate and how to have a life in this place while living with his "ailment".

GOOD AND EVIL.
Peter will be going the Evil route, and become progressively, uncharacteristically, hostile. I don't have many specific desires here; mostly I'm just open to whatever scenarios could unfold! Fights with mutually-Evil characters, him getting snappy at or even attacking Good characters... I'd be down for anything. While I don't think he'll get to the outright murderous point himself, he does come with an extremely powerful demon king who could be a threat in a variety of ways (from telekinetic horrors to psychological manipulation type things), so if anyone might want to get..... maimed and/or killed by a demon, I could... do that for you...!

I'm also definitely down for him getting brought down from Evil corruption by someone at some point in the month. This would be interesting because I can see his demon getting bitey about someone messing around with Peter's state, and probably giving them a hard time about it.... if anyone would like to have to deal with that. 👀

FORTUNE'S FOOL.
So Peter already has his fair share of insecurities in regards to his relationship with Luna Lovegood. I'd definitely be down to do something with him feeling Especially Judged this month / others Especially Judging his relationship with Luna. That could be for any reason really, but it'd also be very interesting if Peter's demonic possession was a factor for Judgment, since... it's definitely Weird and Often Uncomfortable that he's dating someone while possessed, and he gets that! He has a lot of weird guilt and fear about it! Let's torment him

There's also people possibly judging Luna for being with him or for being bonded to Paimon / her particular witchy relationship with the demon, which could make Evil-effected Peter get Really Mad....

Another option here is the whole "falling in love with people" thing. Peter won't be falling for anyone else, but if anyone wants to suddenly be hit with feelings of love for him (or Peter could just perceive that they are)..... it would be hilarious to have Paimon just get really aggressive and protective of Peter's relationship with Luna, burst out at this poor person all "HE'S NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND"... and probably attack them, seeing them as A Threat,,,, It could be kind of hilarious / awkward to deal with later on.

Peter will absolutely be falling hard into this one. There's the aforementioned guilty conscience, his own self-loathing, he suffers from chronic depression, and has had some suicidal ideation over the years. Suicide also runs in his family, and there are a lot of Themes™ there that I'd love to explore, as well as possibly touching on his uncle committing suicide when he was 16, that his mother committed suicide in front of him, or the fact that Peter technically tried (and failed) to kill himself the night Paimon was put inside of him. Basically, if anyone might be down for some Very Heavy Talks, I'm here for it.

I would also be very interested in having him attempt to return to the ocean, with the knowledge that he might not return, and the idea that this would be a form of "suicide" for him. So bringing him back could definitely be a thing on the table. Or, there's the option for someone else to also be suicidal and we could see how that goes, with the end result being that maybe they both help each other out of it somehow?

I'm aware this is all extremely heavy material, so please feel free to let me know if you might be interested in something with this prompt but have certain limits, etc.

D regularly stops by Amaterasu's tree by the shore to pick up fallen twigs/sticks and make sure it's okay. I would adore him getting friendly tackled because he went a few steps into the water to retrieve a floating-away stick.

Kinda leaning Evil, if only so she can become fiercely protective of her "sister" Sayo and maybe make bad times for some of her other canonmates. So I have some tentative plans there, but if you want some crazy bitch to put you in a wild and whacky murder room or just be cruel, she's your girl.

For Fortune's Fool I'd love for her to just get crazy stalker obsessed with someone, even if it's not reciprocated, if only so she can feel embarrassed by the whole thing later. Beato doesn't do things in small ways so expect grand gestures, her showing up at your house at odd times, and weird Witchy declarations of love leading up to her trying to talk you into a lover's suicide pact. She's mending some heartache, so a magically induced rebound is obviously what she needs right?

I don't really have any thoughts for Our Own Prisons except that this bitch can fit SO MUCH guilt in her. So I might have her deal with that, but still up in the air. We'll see. Maybe she'll encourage some other people to just do it or try to prevent someone, if that's what you'd like? Hit me up.

John is an immortal wizard who possibly ended the world, possibly created magic in doing so, and who has a complicated relationship with grief and self and morality. He has declared himself God and he's extremely powerful and difficult to faze with fucked-up content. idk where to go with this yet but I look forward to them being in each other's orbits - John is friends with Sayo and will be teaching her magic.

Timeline/Event Ideas: SO... this event is definitely going to lead places for Keith. Early in the month, he's going to be dealing with The Evil, and I want to get him caught up in something to catch the attention of The Reckoning, which will lead to punishment and death. From there, the rest of these prompts will lead to eventual heavy corruption by the end of the month, maybe even beasthood.

That said, there is still the option he'll be affected by The Good, going full on vigilante and kicking ass of anyone who does something wrong (which can definitely be interpreted as loosely as we want here).

While I do have a specific direction in mind for actual shipping at the moment, the love prompt is open to others as well if someone wants to try that with me.

And, with all the crazy going on, combined with his already painful self-awareness when it comes to his flaws, the Own Prisons prompt is going to play heavily into this. Keith will be drawn to the beach often, so that's probably where he'll be most easily found for random encounters.

Good and Evil: I'm going to play with both Good and Evil here! Made tentative plans in plurk to have Hero Himiko Toga stop Evil Katsuki from Making A Murder, so IDK MAN IF YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO ALMOST DIE but NOT, it will NOT be hard to find a reason to have Katsuki lose his shit on them. I can NPC it but would absolutely love to have him mess up someone and have to be his special brand of Sorry for it later.

After that, I'll probably switch over to Good Katsuki. If your character needs a beat down to stop them from Doing A Bad, talked down from harming themselves, saving from another evil character, etc, I'd love to build some positive CR that way. Tentative plans for this include saving one Deku from a stabbing by Chara, and would love to do more.

Fortune's Fool: Boy howdy. Katsuki JUST got into a relationship with Ochako after months of pining for her so uh... he's gonna hold her captive in their house for a minute to try to save her from the crazy outside. That's greeeeeat. She's probably gonna kick his fucking ass.

While no one technically knows that they're official, Katsuki wouldn't hide it now AND sure did show his intentions all over the network and with that UnBirthday Party so. I'd be happy to play out some paranoia about what other people think about them, re: how did such a good girl end up with an asshole like him etc and he could even go so far as to think someone's gonna try to break em up and start a fight/try to Make A Murder here for it. IDK, I'm feeling Good and Evil prompt a lot more than this aspect of this one, but ya never know who wants in on some romance drama.

Our Own Prisons: Kind of included this up above in Good and Evil. If your character needs a talking down during his Good stint, it could be interesting. Since he's actually really socially awkward. On the flip side, if you want your character to get a drowning, Evil Katsuki sure has opinions on who would deserve to die and could very well attempt to (and be stopped?) or succeed at taking your character out to the beach for a drowning. Leaning more towards being stopped, but man if it were SUPER WANTED, I'd be willing to go that dark.

What CR you would like to develop for this event: I am all over this obsessive unrequited love and would like several one-way love or weird love triangles. A reciprocal overpowering love is very likely to lead to biting and/or turning, but the one-way obsession from D can also potentially lead to biting and turning in an effort to protect someone/keep them with him.

He will very much not be okay with either of these things after the fact, and will offer outs for his bite curse in the form of his own death. People he turn will only be reversible through death.

For the violence thing, D is going to spend most of the month on the good side, not on purpose, just because he's very good at resisting urges and the willpower that would be spent not obsessing over people is instead being spent on not killing himself or everyone else in anger.

He won't offer much help in talking people down, but he can physically intervene if someone needs a heavy hitter to stop their character on a rampage. D isn't available to be killed until after one of his plots involving the Skywalkers is resolved, but maiming is fine.

Due to the storm/mariana event his Left Hand will be going haywire for a little while and D may have to cut his left arm off until things get fixed, so people encountering D's disembodied hand are an option.

He's also going to be working on getting an outpost started out in the wilderness so people in need of a place to get away from the shenanigans all over trench have that as an option if they don't mind the monsters, corruption, horrible mist, etc.

Also someone to cajole him into an actual living arrangement other than his run down abandoned house and Coffin TARDIS would be great.

Negative CR Wanted: People coming to D for help and D refusing because it's not his kind of problem. People down for short threads where D is an asshole and then rudely walks off mid conversation.

He had kind of a rough month last month after a vision involving buckets, and he spent most of the month fabricating items in sullen silence. So he's very open to contact new and old.

Timeline/Event Ideas:
The Evil
Equius is going to be the one of my characters innately impacted by "The Evil." Unlike some, however, his most destructive tendencies are intellectual, despite his raw physical prowess. He will be busy creating objects of destruction and increasingly violent about interruptions. These may be an Aradiabot he's trying to fashion, or doomsday weapons. None of the latter work, and the former may work by the end of the month as a sort of short-term monster if people don't calm him down.

He has a recent network post of him trying to make a murder robot. Yeah, this is going to be a bit of an issue. Even if it's unleashed, the robot will be destroyed by hunters or someone before the end of the month.

Come to the Ocean. We All Float Down Here
I'm going to include a top level this month for Equius. It will include constructing futile robotic horrors, but also a prompt for him visiting the ocean. Despite his tough guy persona, he struggles with a lot of guilt he's developed over his years as a CRAU. He won't actually give into this, but his corruption level will threaten to spike a bit, which I will associate with him being touched by the evil.

I'd like it if he were de-corrupted by month's end. If nothing else, I will say he visits the salt lake during a full moon to reset him. He'll still be shamefaced next month, going forward, but hey. Big guy has to learn a lesson sometimes.

I'd prefer to avoid actual killing in plots unless you REALLY want to die at the hands of a murderous death machine. Talking Equius down is hard, but not impossible. Fatal responses should not be needed.
