OOC Introduction Post!

We are happy to have you here! This is our OOC Introduction Post for players to introduce themselves and their newest character for the game.

If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hello, I'm Sil and a new player here. I'm bringing in Pyrrha Dve from The Locked Tomb. She is so exhausted all the time and is going to be even more emotionally exhausted here, y'all, given ~boatgate.

Like the rest of the OG TLT circle, Pyrrha is ~ten thousand years old. Unlike John, Augustine, or Mercymorn, she's a cavalier. She has spent most of that time in the back of her necromancer's head, occasionally taking the wheel and giving him blackouts. She's helped found a House, Cohort (military), intelligence division, and one of the lyctorhood trials.

CR Hooks

Identity? Depending on the read/how the information flows, you may meet her as Pyrrha or Saint of Duty (unlikely but not impossible—as Gideon the First).
Relatable life experiences. Living in the back of someone's head is something few people in her world have had to deal with. It'll be an easy point to bond/develop CR around.
Adoption. Pyrrha's not a mother, directly, but she takes to people, and she is up for such connections (whether directly maternal or mentor or whatnot) with people below 30. Honestly, possibly some above 30.
Weapons. Pyrrha's a cavalier with the primary weapon set of a rapier and spear (off-hand). However, she's insanely good with guns and has been collecting for ten thousands years (only a small fraction came with). She's interested in making bullets from her blood, expanding her collection and skill set with weapons, and being prepared for things.
Hunting. As with above, Pyrrha's used to and good at fighting. She'll pick up hunting immediately. While she's capable enough on her own, she's good at partnerships and willing to work with people.
So you want to kill God. Her greater concern with John will mostly be about getting him to sit on his ass and chill for a moment. She'll be learning what's been happening here in pieces, but she gets people have legitimate beef with him. It'll be complicated, emotionally, on her end. She'll at least keep an eye on things.
Some offense. Pyrrha's old enough she will sometimes joke about things that are sensitive, sore points, etc. Like, it's been a myriad, folks. There's some dark humor in here. Also ass jokes.

Also I want to throw Nara'a at her because he's from a hunter family but is a miserable hunter, Unless you mean just 'general fighting'. He's good at that. Catching animals? Not so much.

I had meant it in the employment beast sense, but she's meaning to explore various food means since she first TDMed with the cursed fruit. So also hunting animals too! The blood pollution, etc, here she'll still be getting used to and learn to do things the right way for Trench.

Yes. She and her necromancer really built into the partnership thing, so I'm excited to let her have partnerships with other people. She's gonna have some uh... babysitting duties at the start, but she'll get out more as the month/times goes on.

It's exciting to have plot stuff coming in, but she wants to develop her own connections, interests, etc. Guh, even interacting as *herself* is going to be a privilege. Though she's cautious about things out of old habits/not used to getting to be herself.

He wants things to make sense is what he wants. He's not getting it. xD

That's totally fine, Nara'a is used to having to deal with cautious people. He won't hold it against her. :3

I'm on the wrong account but I would love for Pyrrha and Ruby Rose to meet and do some hunting together. And build a big old gun spear for her too.

He's gonna be a tough little squid to find for most of the month, although I'm sure she'll get an idea of what's happening if she asks the right people the right questions.

Yeah, I'm hoping she'll figure that out. Thankfully Ruby's on her list to talk to, so if he comes up, she can... learn the news (and give John a hard time). She's not gonna hold squidding against someone. She'll be here when you crawl back.

It does. Once the timing works, I'd love for them to talk more about that on the OTHER side of experiencing it since they already talked about it a little in advance. But really, shooting John in the face and dying bc you believe it's the right thing to do is big approval from her.

Um. I doubt being a little shit and shooting a God even though you know you can't win the fight is quite what that is.

Neither is having an eldritch little shit making an example of you.

i play this very young lad (falco grice from aot) and a bouncy jock (shōyō hinata from haikyuu!!)! welcome to the game, and i gave you an add on plurk!

Hello, Owlie. Adoption is something she's vaguely conscious of but mostly tends to... well... happen. (Her definition of 'smol' might get old enough some characters go 'heeeeeey').

I'm not familiar with either canon, but I did hear a tiny bit about Shōyō wrt the John/L dream sequence stuff. She's already started to get connected with L, so they're only like a connection or so away. Pyrrha also does appreciate the 5m high as small relatively speaking (compared to, say, a planet sized revenant).

Welcome to the game! I'm Jhey, I think I've bumped into you here and there (I played Maleficent at Polymythos for a little bit), but it's good to see you here! While I'm canonblind to TLT, I've been picking up some things through characters here in game, and it sounds like a bundle of awful fun :') I think it'd be really cool to toss my boy Peter here at her sometime!

He was sacrificed to a cult back home and is now host to an ancient demon king (fun times). There's a slew of identity issues involved with him; it's Complicated, but technically he's also housing his dead little sister's spirit in there too, and his demon is just as confused about things as Peter is. Fellow people with Possession Experience of various forms is always something I'm interested in with him as he tries to learn how to... exist with all that going on, and I think he'd definitely want to learn some things from her if he could (his demon would absolutely be [eyes emoji] about her, too). Peter's turning twenty this year so he's not baby young, but he does a lot of Age Regressing on account of all the Trauma™, so he often comes across a lot more helpless than he looks... Peter, crying like a little kid in the corner at any given moment tbh

Oh hey, yes! I can hardly imagine what TLT comes across like with all these shenanigans, but it is amusing.

Oh boy does that sound like a lot. Titles like "ancient demon king" don't fill her with the most trust, naturally, but yeah, she likely will want to help him. 10,000 years at it without support really does make you want others not to go through that. She won't think of him as baby for that age, but it's still *brain developing young*. Which wow, she's glad she was a full on adult with the headsitting. You may not see her cry much, but tears are healthy. Emoting is a thing that will be coming back slowly. Stoic. Nearly silent. etc a long time.

It really sounds interesting! And hey, at least you know? To be confused? That's a big step.
