If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hi all! My name is Xae and I'm a new player to the game. Today I bring you Nico di Angelo from that book series involving demigods going to camp. Yes, Camp Half-Blood Chronicles.

Nico is the teenage son of the Greek God Hades, god of the Underworld. He does have a lot of death-related powers and even usually looks the part. I've taken him from near the latest book, Tower of Nero, so he's got all the info on events. He's also trying this thing called "friendship" with people. While he's not the friendliest and brightest crayon in the box, I'm looking forward to the friendships he will make here.

HELLO my name is Rona and I am not sure that I ever read Nico's books, but I play a local god of the (un)dead! He is losing his whole household of adopted CR in July by virtue of, you know, throwing down with the local pantheon and getting a bunch of people killed along the way. I would love to see how this CR shakes out. I am shooting you a plurk add!

I enjoy the books and am excited the series is going to be a tv show probably next year. Yes, local gods are people Nico would definitely want to meet. Oof, sounds like he's getting through a rough time. Let's make this CR happen.

My name is Ru and my previous character had CR with the Nico way back in Deerington and I ended up reading his books and falling in love with the character.

Now I play Kaworu here from the Evangelion manga who is an angel and... also not very bright or friendly (but extremely curious). So I'd love to throw them together.

It has been a While since I watched/read Evangelion, but Kaworu was one of my favorites. Yes, let the angel and demigod meet.

And the manga version is a little... hmm, well, he's kinda nasty and a little more Nico-like than the anime version so. I can't wait!

Hello! I'm Sil. I'm bringing in Pyrrha Dve, same canon as John (above). Goth is definitely the norm for her, and she'd love getting to know him independently. But also... re: killing/getting a lot of people killed thing (especially young people), she'll have some concerns around John and Nico and would like to keep an eye on that if that's cool.

Hi Sil! Nico is definitely that goth kid - wearing all black even in summer. He can use all the friends too. And that is cool with me! While Nico hasn't killed a lot of people (only one), death is his companion sometimes. But someone to keep an eye on him is always good, jic he maybe loses his mind.

I've read some of the books but fell behind during some of the Magnus Chase books before Annabeth's came out? Some familiarity, but also it's been a while. I may pick some back up to refresh.

Yes, she's also completely chill with skeleton companions, etc. It's hard to freak her out.

Being chill around skeleton companions and zombies ends up as a plus in Nico's book. Anyone he doesn't freak out is good people.

Yep. Yep. Rebuilding post-apocalypse makes you get comfortable with a lot. Lots of necromancy and... yeah. (there's such a cool construct in her trial, made by her necromancer! <33333 one can have warm feelings toward such things).

yo! welcome to the game! name's star, and i'm glad you made it in! it's not as dour as the underworld, but you know, all the death and stuff around here, it could totally be its own kind of underworld. i'm somewhat familiar with the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, dabbled in the books and films and played off a few of the cast? mythology is awesome.

i play dabi here, from the My Hero Academia manga/anime series. lots of blue flames and villainy with issues in this one. but i'm looking forward to seeing if nico gets influenced by this horrible role model of an adult while he's here or tells him to shove off!

Hi Star! I'm glad to be here. It definitely seems like Nico will fit in here pretty well, he'll practically feel right at home. Mythology is awesome and one of the reasons I got into the series.

I watched maybe one episode of MHA, so I hardly know any of the characters. Dabi is already a bunch of fun to RP off of. It could be a long time before he's influenced, but maybe it'll go both ways eventually.

I've been absolutely horrible about keeping up with the books past the blood of olympus... but I don't mind spoilers at all. <3

I really enjoyed Eternals and Sersi was one of my favs. Also, wow, Sabé! I, too, have several muses from Star Wars so I'm excited to see such a big cast here.
