So, with the path of redemption:
Vira-Lorr has not entirely given up on Maul, but while she'll help him to an extent if he comes to her, she's probably not going out of her way. She's a little leery after the Anakin forced-bond incident in particular (And is one of those helping Ezra to try and break the bond). If he manages to find redemption and gradually find a healthy-ish stability with the residents with Deerington, she'll be relieved. She's forgiven worse people in her life, so nothing is permanently unsalvageable. She'll be leery for a bit though and cautious.

Neo's, as per her usual self, all in favor of helping Maul out as long as it doesn't get herself into more trouble. As long as he's not hurting someone she deeply cares about? She's pretty easy to accept redemption. But, then again, part of that's that she is still partially villainous herself at her core, and the other is that she accepts how much got forgiven for her and she tries not to be too much a hypocrite. 'sides. She actually likes Maul.

So we can definitely keep/get some stuff going with either of them.

Awesome! I do like how Maul interacts with the two of them. He's definitely going to try to do good enough that Vira-Lorr can see he means to stick to it.

And Neo of course is his murder friend for life at this point. They're both always going to have that part of them that is dark and villainous and he's not interested in changing that part of himself for good, so he's glad to have someone on his side.

Yeah, it helps a LOT that both characters do not have traditional western morality (One being a libertine whose world was only saved by embracing a path between evil and light, and the other being a barely reformed villain herself). Neo definitely, I think, has the easier time understanding his perspective. She's very pragmatic in that regard.
