If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hello! Janine here, bringing a character into the game.



From the prequel Star Wars Trilogy, I have Padmé Amidala. For those unfamiliar with her, she was a former queen of Naboo and later senator for her planet. She strongly believed in democracy and cared for the people of the Republic. She was also the secret wife of Anakin Skywalker (OOPS THAT ISN'T A SECRET ANYMORE! That will take some time to wrap her head around). She will be coming from before EP III, in particular The Clone Wars tv series (CWS6EP5). Padmé is easy to bounce people off of, so open to anything. Open to positive or negative cr, as she can be quite strong minded/willed. Navigation post is here with links to all things. I did go Warmblood with Doorway, and a silver fox for her omen.

Hello, Deer Country, it's Alex again (I currently play Renfri from The Witcher) and for my second character I'm bringing in Mike Munroe from Until Dawn, an interactive drama horror video game about eight dumb teens who spend a night on an isolated Canadian mountain experiencing every horror movie trope in the book and how. On the surface, Mike comes off looking like the Stereotypical Jerk Jock™ character archetype — he's cool, he's popular, all the girls want a piece of him, the whole bit. Then things start getting hinky and boy does Mike square up into one of the most competent, brave, and likeable characters in the game fast.

He is coming in off the end of the game and the best possible (Everybody Survives) ending, though unfortunately he did also engage with the bear trap and, well, y'know. Fingers.

For the purposes of Deer mechanics, Mike is a Darkblood with the patron Argonaut; his blood powers let him impose QTEs onto the world and his patron is a butterfly, because I'm hilarious. Also his Omen is his wolf because I would never deprive Mike of his wolf buddy like that.

I'm really looking forward to giving him a spin in Deer and am excited to plot! I strongly recommend checking out his permissions post for the sorts of topics that are likely to come up with him, and please don't hesitate to let me know if there are aspects of Mike you would like me to avoid bringing up altogether when tagging you!

I'm Juu (or Vilani, both names work!) and totally fresh meat. I'm a cis-woman (she/her), +18 yo, from Portugal currently living in ireland.

Today I bring you Ken Kaneki from the horror manga Tokyo Ghoul, right from chapter 52 so he is still a baby. Kaneki is an 18 year old who was experimented on by a crazy doctor, and was turned into a ghoul - a humanoid being that can only cosume humans! So yes, he is a cannibal and he will keep being one in Deer Country too, by stealing dead bodies before they are burned/thrown into the ocean. He is a shy and introvert guy who has had a really rough life and because of that he is super lonely and desperate to be loved and desperate for parental figures; he has a lot of baggage and trauma for being a ghoul and that usually results in self-loathing.

Despite what he is, Kaneki is a good boy and really sad, never killed a person in his life, and having to hurt others makes him want to cry. He loves book, he is the big-brother type and he will nerd at you. Please be his friend, he is so lonely )=

Hello, everyone, it's Kai and I play Faith Lehane & Chara Dreemurr here already.

For my third character, I'm bringing Adaine Abernant from Dimension 20: Fantasy High, she's a very angry, slightly snobby bookworm with a heart of gold, with equal parts daddy issues, mommy issues, sister issues and also just general issues. She's coming from toward the end of Sophomore Year, after having made peace with her sister and killing her father but not before her sister moves in with her at Mordred Manor.

She's a Divination Wizard from D&D, and more specifically is the most recent iteration of the Elven Oracle, and as such was already dealing with a pretty heavy amount of prophesy and overwhelmingly vague visions of the future, but as a Paleblood that will only increase and she'll be able to expand on those powers to travel into people's subconciouses and memories. Adaine is awkward and introverted but not unfriendly and not ill-natured.

Hello, Maru here bringing in Jinx from Arcane. I'm new to Deer Country and new to playing Jinx so I am super nervous but also very stoked to be here!

Mildly put, Jinx is a walking talking trigger bag and comes with content warnings for mental health issues (she experiences visual/auditory hallucinations, flashbacks) and can be kind of a wildcard when it comes to her emotional lability and violent tendencies. ... which is to say, she's pretty badly traumatized over accidentally causing the deaths of her found family and has been coping debatably well ever since. Jinx tends to mean well (at least sometimes), but the girl loves a bit of fun, chaos and setting off huge explosions as an outlet. As well adjusted people tend to do, haha.

Other topics that may come up with Jinx are the fact that her second found family was basically running a drug empire and she has been helping with distribution of shimmer. Please check out my permission if there's anything here that you'd like to opt out of!

Admittedly I know nothing about League asdlmfao; so I am largely playing her with Arcane lore + some spatterings of League wiki readings. She's coming from right after surgery and is kinda :/ about the whole ordeal. I wasn't able to post her on the TDM due to grad school getting busy, but I plan on posting in a few days /eyes Looking forward to tossing her around and making all the positive and negative CR! She's a Coldblood, with Tower as her patron and has a chimpanzee for her omen!

Eyo~ Ren here as fresh meat bringing in a character from Haikyuu!!, by the name of Tooru Oikawa. If both the name or series sounds familiar, it's because he's a castmate of Shoyo Hinata, and at the same canon point as well being entirely post-series.

Being post-series, Oikawa is also less bratty/bitter/temperamental than he was back in high school where the main series takes place. He's got better control of his crappy attitude, though it still shows through on occasion as well if someone manages to rile him up. Aside from his terrible on occasion attitude, he's a generally nice guy to people and would help someone out if they needed it. He can come off vain and selfish to some on first glance now and again, but he's kind and caring when it comes to someone's well-being, and actually cares about someone's health; more than his own. He's also quite perceptive and observant, being able to read others fairly well, but I won't bring that up in any threads unless absolutely necessary as this includes being able to read someone's emotions. If you'd like to opt out or restrict what he can read, by all means, please do let me know over on his permissions.

Other than that, he'll be staying with Shoyo pretty early on, so he's got a place to live.

He's a warmblood as well, and his patron is The Reckoning. I am Absolutely Down with keeping any tdm threads as canon, and I'll be getting back to them over the week. hello I'm lindsey and I'm new!!! I'm bringing you sansa stark from the alayne chapter of twow. she will be introducing herself as alayne stone, humble dressmaker, but she will probably make a dramatic confession once she learns more about corruption. obviously she comes with a lot of content warnings but not as many as the show haha. forget everything you know about season five.

the good news is she has been reunited with her direwolf lady!!!! as a paleblood she will finally be able to unlock her warg potential and take it to new heights (literal). lady is real, growing, and pettable!!! her omen is a white raven named winter(fell) and her patron is madam generosity, narrowly beating out dorothea so her blessed day could be new years (when the purple wedding takes place).

sansa is a just a very sweet and polite girl who has had a very hard time and developed some people-pleasing mechanisms and a deep sense of skepticism as a result. she has spent the last few years learning supervillainy from cersei and littlefinger but is determined to be better than them (not hard). be nice to her and you'll have a friend forever!!!

Okay, I'm argustar, player of Tinya and Rose, here in my third month with my third character, Lexi Howard from "Euphoria." (I just need my canonpoint approved, shhhh) Do I win some kind of an award for going from 0 to 3 in that time span? The William Shatner "Get a Life!" award, maybe?

Lexi is a mostly quiet girl who lives in her head (and I want to fuck with that) and she's like a Type A personality in Type B clothing. Her family life is a mess, her relationship with her best friend (Rue) is a mess, and she's twitterpated over someone she really shouldn't be twitterpated over. So she's like I WON'T BE A MESS AND LET IT AFFECT OTHERS. EVER. Because that's totally healthy, you guys!

Also, getting this out there...I don't ship Lexi with either person she's most commonly paired with. I ship Lexi/Self-Esteem and/or Maddy/Lexi (because as anyone who's seen "Euphoria" knows, Maddy would top).

But speaking of "Euphoria," boy howdy, they really should've named it "Trigger Warnings." It gets a Viewer Discretion is Advised card before every single episode (even GoT didn't get that!) and has a huge variety of things to be triggered by. I have an Opt Out post up and all comments are screened. No judgement. I get how heavy a series named after giddy joy can be and I really, really get how its triggers are like landmines. Player comfort above all else, period.

But while Lexi might not be the only sane one, she's probably the sanest outside of Ethan. Ethan gets the "Most Sane" award.

And again, I love EVERYONE in this bar. I'm serious. This has been in three months the best RP experience I've had since Hadriel, which was three years ago. So thank you and I ❤ you all!

I never know the protocol on spoilers for series/movies, so I don’t know if we’ve passed that timeframe yet. Arcane’s been out for about four months, BUT if you’re still thinking about watching it ( which you should bc it’s p nifty okok ) and don’t want spoilers, just tell me to shove off if Vi comes harassing.

So okay, now for a brief blip on Vi: she’s a snarky, punchy kind of gal, who loves her little sis ( Powder, her name is Powder, not Jinx kthx ) but doesn’t always have the best success in showing it. She’s coming in from the beginning of episode 7, so all the shit hasn’t hit the fan just yet. She's very much into asserting her dominance with her fists ( sorry Vander ); please don’t piss her off, she never quite learned the art of patience. Messing with Powder ( Jinx ) will likely get you on her shit list too ( even tho lbr, it'll prolly be Jinx who will be doing the messing and everyone else is collateral damage ). It's fine.

She has no canon powers ( except high endurance, strength and pain tolerance, but those aren’t really “powers” ) but she’s a Vileblood, so poison fun times ahead. Dorothea is her patron and a honey badger is her omen because ofc it is.

Hello everybody! This is Ava bringing you Jessica Ushiromiya from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni! Jessica is the rebellious tomboy daughter of an obscenely rich family who lives in a mansion on a private island! She just longs for a normal happy life hanging out with friends, playing music, and nursing her massive crush on the mysterious moody servant boy who works at the mansion. Unfortunately, her canon happens to be a murder mystery, so things don't go quite as planned. Oops!

She's a Coldblood, but is otherwise entirely mundane, and is still wrapping her head around magic and monsters existing, and just generally not being in Japan from 1986! She's an absolute ray of sunshine though, and has so much love and kindness to give, even if she's horribly naive, clearly comes from privilege, and tends to act based on emotion. She'll have a rough time starting a week and a half into this month as a result of some extremely messy cast drama, so it might be nice to have her get through that with the new people she'll meet.

Hey guys, it's Alba who plays Bigby the Abomination (enblightened) from Darkest Dungeon! I have a second character now: Yuu from Disney's Twisted Wonderland. He is a paleblood, his patron is Argonaut, and his omen is a mouse.

Yuu is a bit in that weird "malleable protagonist" position like a Shepard/Byleth/Lumine/etc but he is a bit distinctive in that he's blunt, cheeky, and sassy a lot of the time, but will well-meaning and can't help himself when it comes to helping people out. He isn't actually used to having powers, so he'll have an adjustment period with that, but won't hesitate in lending a hand if someone needs it. Also whoops his birthday is on the 18th so he's actually turning 17 in a couple of weeks (which is why he asked about a bakery on the TDM).

ANYWAY HI I'm looking forward to playing someone considerably more upbeat than Bigby to help even things out!

HI! I'm Asher (he/him), I'm arriving fifteen minutes late with Starbucks and an awful man-boy mercenary who's trying to do a bit better. Iiiiit's Alvin from Tales of Xillia! Please feel free to deposit him directly into the trash, it's where he belongs.

Alvin is a mercenary terrorist spying triple-agent JRPG tank-ish type guy caught between technology and magic, selfishness and friendship, a troubled past and making good. He's also voiced by Matt Mercer, if that sweetens the deal for anyone. Here in Deer Country, he'll be a coldblood whose patron is Cloverfield, and his Omen's gonna be basically a magic homing pigeon, which is great, since Omens already totally have that capability.

I'm easiest to reach on Plurk at asherdashery, but I try to remember to log into Discord at asherdashery#5061. I'm not so great about it. My tagging hours can be weird and I'm actually not so available during the usual busy hours of evenings and weekends Eastern Time, but I'm very excited to be here and I will do my best to boomerang as I can.

If you DON'T want TDM threads from back in January to count, let me know and I'll strike 'em from my memory. Not very hard to do at all. Alvin will probably be looking around for the folks he met and also for a place to put his feet up and have a nice drink or two.

Hello hello! SSK here, player of Sabé decoyqueen, bringing you a second, FAR MORE SOCIABLE, character. Sersi is from Eternals (MCU) and she's going to love making friends and learning more about people. She's very much a nurturing individual- let her mother/big sister you! I made her a warmblood and her Pthumerian is Never Mind... Aaaaaaaand her omen is a giraffe, iykyk.

Her canon powers are matter transmutation- meaning she can change a rock (or anything really) to water, or wood, or steel, or whatever... you get the idea. Her powers are limited to non-sentient things, even though late in the movie she's able to turn sentient things into non and vice versa, we don't know that it's not because of the emergence that was happening. On that note, I am taking her from the end of the movie... I know it's been out since November and on d+ since january, but I'm more than happy to avoid spoilers.

Hi, hello, some of you might remember me from my stint as Ichigo in Deerington, or maybe not! I am Megan and I've decided to torturebless, really all of you with the arrogant AF loud mouthed explosion causing, not at all charming Katsuki Bakugou from My Hero Academia (chapter 249 aka Todoroki Family Dinner Hell, for those who consume said manga/show)! He is ALSO CRAU from the game Jikan, and despite that game being centered about relationship building, he uh....

Did not pick up a whole lot, in terms of better people skills. Maybe a TINY bit, special shout out to Uraraka for dealing with his gremlin ass, but yeah not really. He loves to fight, he doesn't like people, and he's pretty fuckin' full of himself so um. If you like negative CR of different varieties/levels, I've got it in droves! That said, I really do wanna try to have him make friends despite all of that so GD, if your character has a high tolerance for this kind of thing, please endure us.

UMMMM little about me, I'm a full time working mom creature with a weird schedule, so I tend to be on the slower side of things (but thrive and survive on backtags for life)... and I do this with my free time. I also utterly fail at introductions, glaring example right here so YUP THAT'S UH...

New player here. Never been in Deerington, but have heard of it a few times! I think I know a few people here? Got enabled by a certain someone who shall go nameless, but is much appreciated. I go by StarSeed and I'm bringing in the flaming trashheap known as "Dabi" from the My Hero Academia series. Coming from Chapter 341 before *spoilers* takes place, let's get the fun bits out of the way first--

Dabi is what you get when your dad decides to have and raise his selectively-bred child to become the greatest hero in society and then promptly abandons him as failed trash as soon as it's discovered he's unable to shoulder the massive ambitions placed on his shoulders, due to his body not being well suited for his power. Oh, and then decide it's in said kid's best interest to crush his dreams by replacing him with another, better kid, multiple times, so he'll stop trying to regain his dad's attention. Which all leads up to almost burning to death on a mountain and getting those lovely burn scars all over 80% of his body for his troubles. Leads to an utter train wreck of emotions and rage spiraling out of control into an insane, revenge-obsessed villain. Thanks, Dad.

In other words, "You get what you f*cking deserve!" He is the burnt poster boy for Daddy Issue.

Dabi, real name Touya Todoroki, is the son of Enji Todoroki, the current No. 1 Pro Hero in his world, Endeavor, and the eldest brother of your resident Shouto Todoroki, the Pro Hero in training, Shouto. He lives entirely for the purpose of destroying his father's reputation as a hero and ultimately murdering him in revenge for the years of emotional and physical abuse Endeavor put him, his wife, and the rest of his kids through. Callous, rude, sociopathic, insane, and oddly charismatic for someone who doesn't do those "feelings" anymore, Dabi's a mass murderering arsonist who shacks up with other villains aiming to destroy the hero society of Japan. For multiple reasons.

Not to say he's incapable of making connections with other people! He's actually a very calm and laid back person, so long as you don't mind him not giving a shit about you outside of what kind of usefulness you can be to him. Look forward to that if you want to try and make some kind of bond with him. He's all for exploiting people and relationships to get what he wants, which in this case is survival. If all this is your cup of tea (or even if it's not) feel free to crash into us and make "friends" with this flaming punk~

But a lot has happened in Deer recently, so his character development is closer to post-battle things. You know how it is, a boss battle happens, a friend gets impaled, you run off because it's dangerous to be around you...
