We are happy to have you here! This is our OOC Introduction Post for players to introduce themselves and their newest character for the game.

If you are unfamiliar with introduction posts or game settings in general, this is a great opportunity to tell people the name you go by, your preferred pronouns and contact information, and a little about the character you're bringing into the game. Introduction posts are not required but they are a great way to meet other players and know what new faces will be in the game setting.

As soon as you are accepted into the communities, you can dive right into the fun and start making posts! No need to wait for events.

Hi. I'm Judah. I use he/him pronouns and I'm pretty new to DWRP. My partner is Carmine, who plays Samatoki deathrespect (who is Nemu's older brother) and Levi venatik, so I know some of the goings on already.

Nemu here is from Hypnosis Mic, which means she's a rap goddess and you should all bow down to her. No, but really she sounds like this canonically, as REOL is her voice actor.

Tentative plans for her are to move in with Samatoki and get a gig at his business as a Night Walker. Y'know, when I settle in more and get a feel for it.

I'm probably going to put up a log for her. I'm really glad to be here and I hope we can write cool and painful shit together. I'm at katakurii if you wanna add me. ✌

But due to a magical pendant, she is also a girl! And sometimes, a princess who can do ballet really well. She's klutzy, not the brightest bulb out there and is most likely to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, but her heart is in the right place and she cares about helping people become the best versions of themselves. Ballet solves all problems right???

Welcome to the game, glad you made it! I loved our character's CR together (and still have that extension into the disaster house if you are interested) and I liked the anime your character came from enough that I've actually seen Princess Tutu twice! If you want to keep the TDMs legit, they can still know each other, and Ahiru will definitely already have a big (?) sister in her corner!

Hello!

My name is Jude and I'm bringing in Frisk from Undertale. They're being taken post Pacifist route, but they have experienced every route - including Genocide which was aborted near the end. They're a silent protagonist and prefers to listen more than speak. They're also a bit of an odd ball who prefers to flirt and joke around with their adversaries rather than fight... But, Undertale also takes fighting and KOing an opponent a lot more seriously than other games. Frisk is non-binary, so I ask that everyone use they/them when tagging with them.

One important thing to note is that Frisk has the power of determination. What does that mean? In a game, someone can load, save, and restart the game from the beginning, right? Undertale also takes this incredibly literally, which means that Frisk even has the power to come back from life after dying. In game, that means that Frisk can LOAD and SAVE during threads. It's up to the player whether or not they want their character to know what's happening, or at least have deja vu that they've been through the thread before. I have a permissions post for anyone who doesn't want their character to go through something like this.

On a personal note, I was getting ready to move while the TDM was posted, which explains my slowness! I'll be continuing TDM threads for those interested. ♥ My plurk is also here for anyone who would like to add me for any reason at all!

Allen Walker | D.Gray-man

Hello! I'm Sleight (he/him), and I'm bringing in the heartbreakingly sweet but savage protagonist from D.Gray-man, Allen Walker! He's -- complicated. And tragic. And is just a bad luck magnet for horrible things to happen, but dadgum it he picks up his shattered heart and keeps going. Kinda.

He's an exorcist from a fantasy horror Victorian era earth where exorcism isn't what you think it is -- at all! He is himself a living holy weapon who exists by his own principles to save both humans and akuma, corrupted souls that have been turned into monsters. His powers have been reborn as well for this world and apply more generally to corruption mechanics and soul-saving ingame, so he has some unique ways to purify ingame corruption (if he's powerful enough vs it) and interact with beasts, including being able to see their tormented souls (where applicable). This could also work for player characters, so if you ever want to plot things out -- I'm game, let's chat. 👀

Because of canon reasons combined with arrival reasons, his head is a bit of a mess so it's going to take him a long time to slowly regain his full memories and thus his abilities as well. Help a poor amnesiac boy out, it'll probably be cute but sad somehow because that's how he is. I also would like/plan to have him join the hunters! But then probably end up at odds with them because of his own moral/soul-saving philosophies. :') Haha, ha... (it's canon)

Tara Maclay | Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Hi all, I'm Rachel, brand new player with a brand new character. This is Tara Maclay from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Basic witch, moral compass and motherly figure of the Scoobies. She's coming back from the dead, and even in canon, that tends to mess with a character. So there's a bit of backfire with some of her blood magic already.

The only one that might come into play is if anyone touches her. She drains people of their emotions, leaving them feeling numb and dead. This isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I have an Opt Out page here. I don't see it coming up that much unless your character really wants to hug her or hold hands.

Tentative plans are basically Tara getting used to being technically alive again, being in strange new place and having weird powers that don't go with her witchiness. If you want to plot or just be friends, add me at la_fille_en_histoire.

I can't wait to toss Tara in.

OH GOSH HELLO EVERYONE I AM SO EXCITED TO BE HERE. I'm Owl, and I'm very fresh meat! I've been eyeballing y'all for a while now, even back before chapter 2 was being hashed out, and I've finally decided to take the plunge and join!!!

I bring with me Rapunzel, one of them disney princesses from the Tangled franchise! She's a sweet, excitable, (almost literally) sunny young lady from the kingdom of Corona. She's just learning about the world and how to live in it after being isolated in a tower for eighteen years, but she's doing well! Kind of. She thinks. She's got great artistic talent and a boundless enthusiasm for anything she sets her mind to, and she wants to be everyone's friend.

She's coming from the events of the tv series, so that means anyone who knows Varian will absolutely be harassed by her because that's her lil bro she's gotta meet all his friends. However, she's not from post-series as he is - she's from just after the events of Tale of Two Sisters, meaning she's, uh. Going Through Some Shit. But! It's fine! Everything's fine!!! T o t a l l y.

Hello! My name is Luna, and I'm coming here with Manjiro Sano, otherwise known as Mikey from Tokyo Revengers! He's a 15 year-old leader of a biker gang who's personality is... not what you'd expect from the leader of a biker gang - but his eccentricities and playful attitude aside, he's pretty damn strong in a fight! ...By normal human standards, of course. Here, he probably doesn't stand a chance against most of you.

He also has problems with processing his grief and his emotions, and has a violent side to him that he's trying hard to suppress... with limited success. But hey, he's trying.

I don't have too many plans or Mikey yet, other than hopefully establishing some CR and getting a feel for the game, and I suspect he'll be struggling a lot with corruption here as well... I'm over at Rivenix if anyone wants to add me, and I'm super excited to be here & to start writing with you all!!

HELLO DEER COUNTRY!! I'm Drizz, and I'm basically fresh meat, even though I apped to Deerington with Pyrrha Nikos and lasted like. a month. But!!! Hopefully!! This time will be different.

Because I'm bringing in Cassandra from Disney's Tangled: The Series. She's - usually - princess Rapunzel's faithful and brave friend, as well as her (former) lady-in-waiting. In contrast to her princess, Cassandra's essentially her opposite; cold, a bit snarky, and always loving a good fight. She struggles with wanting to be recognized for all the hard work she does, and struggles even more with navigating the minefield that is social interaction.

Now, I said she's "usually" Rapunzel's friend, because I'm bringing her in from mid-season 3 of the show - when Cassandra has decided she's had enough of being denied the spotlight and betrayed Rapunzel before making off with an incredibly powerful magical artifact. And she's been Going Through It ever since!!! Her canonpoint will be Tale of Two Sisters, where she STILL doesn't know if she's making the right choice but!!! it's fine!!! it'll all work out!!!! Eventually.

lmao, i had a love-hate relationship with rhea in the game. ngl i felt for her and i super loved how intriguing and crazy she was in the other routes (esp in ashen wolves) but damn, the ending of the cf route was also very satisfying :(

Hey hey, Deer Country! I'm Alba, bringing in Bigby the Abomination from the first Darkest Dungeon, a dark horror fantasy RPG with some rogue-like qualities.

Basically, Bigby turns into a big monster that he's constantly struggling to battle with its instincts. It's the ol' werewolf/Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde/Bruce Banner & the Hulk situation! He's pretty depressed with a sliver of optimism for people, and genuinely does wanna lend a helping hand even he's always stressed out.

Hello, I'm new here! My name is seiko (she/her) and it's very nice to meet you all. I am bringing Aether from Genshin Impact, who is Lumine's twin brother. He has the exact same memory of things as Lumine, just with role-reversal.

Since his entire cast seems to remember Lumine as the Traveler, and not him, he will be having A Time trying to figure out if he is crazy or not and has somehow been forcefully implanted his sister's memories upon arriving here! Depending how his CR works out down the road, he may or may start becoming more like how he is in Lumine's storyline for some time, which is cold and dark, but for now, I present to you the so-called "cute" personality of the twins (according to interview with Lumine's Japanese voice
actor, anyway). He's probably a little more trusting than his sister (but equally overprotective) and likes to make new friends. He definitely wants to be your friend (so long as you don't tell him you don't want to be his, anyway.)

For those who know Genshin Impact's storyline, he is coming in post-patch 2.2 in Inazuma.

As for things about me, I'm a currently unemployed systems engineer so while I have a buttload of time right now, that may change if anyone ever pities me enough to hire me. I can tag kind of sluggishly despite this, with varying degrees of burst speeds. Please be patient with me, and please don't hesitate to poke me if I leave a thread of ours hanging.

He's a very brief character in Voltron: Legendary Defender and has more or less become a CRAU character based on his years in Deerington. Hello, everyone! This is possessum / Peter Graham's player Jhey, bringing in a second horror character: Rose Da Silva from Silent Hill. (That is, the movie version, so there are some notable differences lore-wise from the games!)


Rose is basically a PTA Mom from Ohio who ended up in Silent Hill whilst desperately searching for her missing daughter. She is Woefully Inexperienced, yet fought her way through Literal Hell and an entire church of fanatical religious cultists for her spooky little girl and will not hesitate to do it again. She'll be coming to Deer Country fully assuming this is some extension of the Fog World / Silent Hill / a weird alternate universe that she's been trapped in — and will be running around for a good while trying to find her daughter and learn as much as she can about this place.

Rose is a Warmblood, her patron is Mariana, and her Omen is a white dove (there are a ton of intended metaphors within her character for the Virgin Mary, which I think will be very fun to play around with here!)

As for me: I'm a pretty boring cat lady, psychology person, and horror fan. Feel free to poke me at skeletals, large bat#2354, or via PM if you'd like to chat or plot! You're welcome to add/remove/readd as preferred, and I look forward to writing with you all ♡

he’s got just the purest little heart that he should probably belong to disney instead of the crapshoot he was born in, his way of insulting an adult is to stop calling them mister— and he’s got guts to make up for his lack of buff (that he shouldn’t have anyway, he’s twelve). he doesn’t deserve to be a child soldier but to compensate, he can turn into a giant bird. wark 🦅

i should mention that he is a crau from two (unfortunately) short run horror games, upcycle and we’re still here! he’s bringing quite a cv for horror this time around (that i’ll be sure to keep in his journal), along with a bit of a possession problem he picked up from upcycle that he’ll be quick to look for help with! and, of course, some faces he might consider familiar (peter parker, the mandalorian and a couple of androids, etc). i’ll always ask before having him recognize anyone he previously knew and am okay with memory fuzz, if one wishes to not be recognized!

i’d also like to point y’all toward his opt out post for anyone who would rather not be tagged by him or would like for me to avoid certain aspects of his canon being mentioned in tags. while i tend to avoid the more uncomfortably problematic aspects of aot, i’d still prefer to make sure i’m not making anyone feel uneasy.

Today, I bring you a ball of explosive (sometimes literally) happiness Klee from Genshin Impact. She's probably an elf child who is a happy, recklessly brave, adventure loving and enjoys chasing lizards. Also, she's a bomb making expert who LOVES blowing up things.  Mostly inanimate objects and fish. In addition, she's a Pyro Vision user which is why her bombs are most potent. But she is someone who think YOU'RE THE BEST, until circumstances says otherwise. (I pretty sure it will take a fair bit to convince her whose bad.) But she's a sweet kid who been dumped into this world and well she isn't really afraid of stuff because she still a little too young to understand existential horror or her because if her ridiculous bravery. (I mean she fought a Primo Geovishap in her own after somehow running all the way to Liyue) Klee comes from post the Golden Apple Archipelago event. So she's feeling extra cheerful because she spent time with ALL the people she loves.

She's Coldblood. Her Omen is her best friend in the world Dodoko but larger. She is taller than Klee. Her patron is Argonaut.

Anyways, I'm excited to play with everyone. As far as CR, I'm looking for all kinds. She will probably want be buddies with everyone.  If you want to plot stuff, feel free to hit me up. I'm more active on Discord than Plurk. Anyways, looking forward to playing with you all

Hello, I'm Anrin :) I am brand new to dreamwidth as well as role playing, and because of this, I ask that you please be patient with me as it does take me a bit to answer! I promise I will, but I am not the quickest responder.

Currently, I play as Megumi Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen. In canon, he is a sorcerer who exorcises curses through harnessing cursed energy and manipulating it in the forms of various attacks. The way these powers manifest is in shadow beasts. I'm going to be playing around with corruption because it seems to have many similarities to cursed energy. He is a very stoic and analytical character; however, he also feels that the world is unfair to good people, and he tries his best to help out those he feels are "good people." He doesn't always have a considerable amount to say but when he does its exactly how he feels.

I use a lot of body language to demonstrate how he is feeling and what your character might see. He currently does not remember his past life, but I want to have him remember tidbits throughout his various interactions. He is cold blooded and will be joining the hunters (once he figures out he actually has various abilities!). Honestly, I had so much fun playing with a few of you and I am really excited to play and meet more of you!

Totally late to this party, but it's fine. I'm Lucy. I've got Willow from Buffy already here, and bringing in a second character. Fat Billie from Spout Lore.

Billie is a nine year old halfling thief who was adopted by Tuck and Vyng. He's a changeling, so he was originally a fairy, but he doesn't remember more than bits and pieces of that time in his life. He knows a little magic, but not as much as he used to, so he's a Darkblood, and his Omen is a black and brown cat named Wicker.

He's here for chaos and time with his dads.
