However, it helped that he was among the public, and more importantly, wearing his hero costume. Even if it was the only clothes he had at the moment, it technically meant that he was on the beat. If his work-study had taught him anything, it was that once he stepped out in it, he should conduct himself in the manner of a confident, cool hero.
