"I only know a little about cats," Ruka confesses, feeling oddly apologetic about it. "Or, if I knew more once, I don't remember it now."

Four clans of cats though, just living in the wild. She imagines it like wolf packs or something, and Bluestar is the leader of ThunderClan... She turns to her bag, ruffling through it until she can pull out a journal and something to write with so she won't forget.

"I think the-- the Twolegs think they're helping. That's what I was always told, anyhow. That a cat will live longer if they're not out in the wild. I'm sure there are some cats that would like that, and certainly more that wouldn't... If we could communicate as easily as we can here, there'd probably be less mistakes like that."

Ruka isn't sure at all, honestly, but it sounds... diplomatic. She's not the sole representative of her people, after all, she can't speak for them. She glances up from her journal and her tone grows apologetic again, "I'm sorry you're a long way from home-- I think, anyhow. I'm not entirely sure about anything with this place, but it seems we all are."
