[ This wasn't the Light of Alfheim welcoming him back to the natural flow of existence. While he feels strange and adrift, that much he is certain of. There is something else at play here. So, he refuses this end and tries to find his way again. He wants to go back to what - to who - he believes himself to be.
Identity crisis between his lineages aside.
Loki could turn into a wolf, yes, and more recently had taken the shape of a bear. But a squid? That was new. The appendages are gangly, strange, and stick where he doesn't want them to. Before he can take the time to figure it out though, he is bitten. His body reacts by smacking the source of pain and instincts plus adrenaline drive him forth.
Once scooped up, he's flailing wildly and sticking to whomever had the (mis)fortune of catching him. He'll transform back to a human form once the panic subsides, certainly. That just might take a bit.
He will also certainly apologize for the damp, salty smacksmacks once he calms. ]

[ The shout comes from a young boy, throwing up a hand to grab the attention of someone trying to harm a plant. Whether by fire or other means, he's clearly quite upset at them and not as upset at the vicious plants as one might think he should be. ]
Stop that, hey- You don't need to kill them!
[ He stands between the plant and its attacker, brows furrowed and lips set into a tight frown. ]
