There was a deep bond between master and apprentice, something Maul had never experienced firsthand growing up the way he did, but which he was aware of nonetheless. It was like when Savage had arrived for Maul. He'd been immediately drawn to where his brother was at, the tenuous Force bond between them flaring back to life as they were reunited.
