He's only ever experienced this a couple of times before — in battle, with an enemy's power wrapped around his throat as tight as hands; and one time that guilt and panic has overwhelmed him so bad he thought he might die. But even if Ritsu thinks he knows what this is, it hasn't become any easier.
His first instinct is to strain himself trying to draw in a breath, cheeks flushing, a hand lifting to clutch uselessly at his throat. It takes him a second to look around in fright for enemies (but he doesn't sense any) and he doesn't even get to consider trying to calm himself from a panic attack before Soubi is grabbing his other wrist.
His throat loosens, and he pulls in a desperate shaky breath, the kind of gasp that comes from breaking the surface of the water. Then his brows draw down and he pulls his hand away petulantly —
Airless again. Ritsu looks at the older blond man with wide panicked eyes, and this time it's his turn to reach out, desperate for whatever life preserver the man had just offered him. If he's the cause of this sudden choking... well, he can figure that out once he can speak again.
