[Lan Xichen is right: committing himself to the truth is much harder than committing himself to goodness. Jin Guangyao closes his eyes again, but the surge of emotion he anticipates doesn't come. After everything that they have been through today, he doesn't have the strength for it.

So he draws in an unsteady breath and nods.]
