"The matter is closed. I will not listen to you further on it," Maul said airily as he pointedly walked away in the other direction. Ritsuka had made it clear he didn't want to deal with him any further but he'd said nothing about others dealing with him on Maul's behalf. He even had the gall to raise up a hand and wave cheerily goodbye in Ritsuka's general vicinity.
That left Ritsuka with the two helmeted figures. Perhaps realizing that two grown adults with weapons looming over a young boy looked pretty bad, one of them pulled his helmet off and knelt down to get more at eye level with the catboy. He had scraggly hair and a beard that looked like it had seen better days. It was Vin, one of Maul's most devoted followers. While his zealotry was at an all-time high when it came to serving his lord, he wasn't a cruel or harsh man. "Hey, look, I know this all seems really confusing and disorienting right now. How about we sit you down somewhere and take a moment to get you something warm to drink? Sound like a plan?" While he would of course be reporting everything done and said back to Maul, for the moment he was earnest in his desire to help out Ritsuka.
