Does hiding from the truth ever help?
[Because he can't accept that, either. The truth may be dirty, brutal, ugly, but it's always going to be there. Waiting.]
There are a lot of people here, and I don't think they all just gave up and never wanted to go back. So maybe rejecting ain't the way to go about it.
[Since it just seems to go back to the squid thing.]
