As far as Adam was concerned he was definitely better off without powers. Why complicate life further? He already had to deal with his friends turning into mutants and his monster husband throwing him into dumpsters. He'd take as much normal as he could get, thank you.

"This place will definitely test that. It has a way of getting into your head." It somehow seemed to find the things you were the most afraid of and played them against you. Though whether this was something consciously done was still up for debate.

Adam shrugged. "Kind of like that? And I'm actually not sure about the internet. There's a network we can all use, but it's pretty closed circuit. And I'm sure someone's invented a TV by now."
