"Hm." Well, some people were probably better off without powers. Not everyone was cut out for them and some people had enough on their plate without wild powers. He was sort of hoping he could control fire now or something, personally.

He wasn't going to admit he had powers to start with, but he was curious about what he potentially had to do to find out if he had anything new. "This is the only time I'd say it's a shame I don't scare easily." And he wouldn't appreciate any attempts to purposely startle him, either.

"True. A gentleman doesn't measure someone's dick." He teased. Stepping on something that might have been a rock, he made a face but didn't make any more of an effort to look at the ground as he walked.

"Ugh, 'device' implies they aren't handing out iPhones." But he guessed he wasn't surprised by that, just a little dismayed. "Please tell me there's TVs or the internet or something, at least."
