Adam had him nearly down perfectly. It was just as well that Ritsuka didn't know it or he'd be both furious and humiliated, hating that someone could read him so easily. It was why he hated anyone seeing his body... ever.
His ears perked at the shift in Adam's voice, and cautiously bent back as the facts were laid out in front of him.
So, there WAS a catch, just not from HIM. He lifted a brow at the mention of punching someone in the face for him and was reminded of Jessie, his tiny little ragdoll of a mom who swore the same thing, of Woody, and Buzz and their protectiveness. He was reminded of Makoto too, and her willingness to get into any fight for his sake.
He wondered what his therapist would think about him finding toys to be more parental than his actual parents. Maybe it was projection? Probably that, he imagined.
He appreciated the honesty from this complete stranger. Warily, his ears perked back up.
"I... wouldn't mind some food and actual clothes," he mumbled, hugging the jacket a bit tighter around him to try and hide more of his body.

"I'm Aoyagi Ritsuka," he gave a small bow.
