(even though her sister's voice is soft and comes with tranquility, jinx still winces ever so slightly at those words. her hand comes across her own arm; awkwardly rubbing and glancing off elsewhere in the room. those words meant to end them -- shatter every little piece of hope to regain what was lost. and yet somehow, here they are together... talking normally (trying to, anyway) and building steadily the bridge that collasped.
