Just what anyone needs—gods fighting over whatever is within their reach. Naturally, whichever one would do the most could has the least reach. Hope, however, is no small thing in an otherwise hopeless world. It's not what Duty places his bets on, but he appreciates it nonetheless. The hope that John will continue to do better until those decisions are who he is. It's a long road.
