Unfortunately there was no way Mayoi was going to handle this with any kind of grace. He is simply too much of a tight coil of anxiety with the instincts of a neurotic prey animal to be even remotely well adjusted about any of this.

Miraculously, his body decides to just unsquid him while he's unconcious, so when he does finally stir with his robes, he's an actually person with a voice. He looks about as weird as he did in squid form, though.
