[Dipper does not know this person, but he listens all the same when he gives his warning. While Dipper could take care of himself in most cases, he personally doesn't know what's going on here, and he's more than willing to be cautious. He's also fourteen and barely five-feet-tall, so probably it made since for an adult to try and act responsible in this case.]

[However, Dipper does know this is some kind of dreamscape, and he does have experiences with dreams. Most of his abilities dabbled in that area, so he keeps an eye out just in case something sneaks up on them.]

[He pauses at the fork with Gilbert with a frown. Then he sighs.]

Yeah. This place likes to toss weird trials and scenarios at us, and usually if there's something it wants us to do, it'll try and nudge us.

[He crosses his arms and looks unimpressed.]
