Uh. I don't know too much about why yet, but yeah, like. The blood inside of us gives us all new abilities, you can cure people with blood transfusions, and there's the haze of blood that hangs in the air after the beasts die that can... turn us into beasts ourselves. [it's dangerous. whether it will be a concern for toga remains to be seen.]
