What CR you would like to develop for this event: Dabi's very much an objectifying recruiter, who accepts people based on how useful they are to him, and entirely willing to reject and dispose of people he doesn't find any use for. He doesn't do "friends" anymore, due to his backstory and most CR he develops is based on mutual advantage. That said, he can make allies with people and doesn't mind shacking up with someone if it's beneficial. Antagonistic CR is perfectly fine as well. He needs to at least meet some more people.
Open/Closed to New CR this event: Very open to new CR this event.
What CR you want to avoid this event: He's not someone you can "fix" him with kindness or understanding.

Timeline/Event Ideas: I prefer a nebulous timeline, so it's not a big deal with me.

Being neither starved for hope nor willing to let himself turn to hopelessness, as well as just being a bastard all around, Dabi's not going to be dealing much with those butterflies. Unless he feels like testing the belief that butterflies are the recently-departed souls from beyond... Can you kill a soul once it's been killed?

1) While he won't up and burn one out of nowhere, if he notices someone getting sapped or turning into a "zombie" from staring at one, he might opt to torch it. Might torch the person if they're corrupted enough...

2) Of course that means he'll be corrupted as well, so if someone wants to deal with him getting instant karma served to him, that option's also available. Don't expect him to be willing to talk about the feelings later.

3) But if Dabi manages to learn more about the butterflies beforehand, expect to find him collecting the orbs of light. Mostly for himself, as a personal means of restoring himself from corruption at a later date. Always good to have a backup...

After butterfly balls, Dabi'll be keeping a more cautious eye towards a meteor-less meteor shower. He'll probably stay indoors for the first two showers, but then come out to inspect the others after witnessing little negative repercussions.

1) Feel free to meet him exploring the area, wandering the streets to inspect the rifts in space and time. Might not be the most affable conversationalist, but at least he'll be open to some talk.

2) Since he doesn't have any "loved ones" he'd ever want to talk to (nicely), at most Dabi's likely to find some of the League of Villains' Quirk suppressant drugs and/or search the portals for some kind of drug store or medical center to try swiping pain killers, drugs, and other supplies that aren't as easy to come by here in Trench (at least not as readily as their forms in his world).

3) If you want to fight a Nomu from the My Hero Academia world, shoot me a message and we can go through some options to bring on the ass kicking. Good luck in getting Dabi to caution you against them (outside of a sarcastic note) and/or help you fight them, however. The Nomu consider him an ally and he's more than happy to stand by and watch them tear havoc through the area. What? Wanton destruction is fun!

4) As for other monsters, he's not keen on "protecting" other people, so unless you have personal investment in him CR-wise (including the idiots from his world), you'll need to make it worth his time to help you fight whatever monster you're dealing with. Of course, if he's attacked regardless, he'll defend himself aggressively. With fire.

Dabi's experience with his Tether is likely going to flashback to Twice, an ally of his from the League of Villains who could create clones of people and things with his Quirk. But he'll quickly find out that it's nothing like Twice's and will probably find it annoying extremely quickly. (Might even try to burn it, but obviously that's a horrible idea...)

1) Turning into a beast is probably a likely occurrence, since he's not a friendly face wandering around with close connections. If you want to deal with him after he's turned (perhaps with those stores of butterfly balls from before), we can certainly set up something like that.

2) As for pulling back... haha, Dabi's not a nice guy at all. He really has no inclination to help others around him, unless it's to his advantage and/or he gets something out of it. Emotional support is strange with him, as he's capable of it, but it usually comes through self-depreciation or wry sarcasm, rarely any true empathy with someone else. Is "not killing" someone a "general" act of kindness? But we can certainly work out something to this effect, make him uncomfortable.

3) NSFW - That being said, Dabi's more willing to engage in physical "help" than emotional. If sleeping with someone, in whatever form, can prevent their corruption or beasthood, and again, he benefits from it, then he's a little more inclined to go ahead and engage. Never hurts to have someone indebted to him. This option doesn't have to be adult in nature, and we can fade to black or censor the entire thing if you'd rather, but the option's still there if interested.
