How does full AU work? On entry, do Deku and all his gear disappear to be temporarily replaced with Bizarro Deku?
Yes, and the process can be as weird/messy/eldritch as you'd like it to be since things are A Lot Messed Up.

For full AUs, what would be the motivation(s) for them to join this quest?
