I would be up for that, but Chara's response to the caramel effect would be a lot less amusing and considerably darker considering their own complete lack of autonomy in canon and status as a "puppet on a string". And if Maul intentionally and knowingly takes advantage of it, they'll be hellbent on taking revenge (in as horrible a way as possible) while pretending like they've taken it as a practical joke he might have taken too far.

If you want to go for something more lighthearted, I was thinking of having Chara just straight up turn into a goat after eating the peanut-butter chocolate and using it as an excuse to cause chaos that can't be connected to them.
