i think you're right, a nice apartment would be far easier to adjust to. after all, i'll have to do all of my own cooking and cleaning and as horrible as it is to admit to, i've never done either before. an apartment would be far easier to keep tidy than an entire house. and i don't need anything too fancy, a place to sleep and eat and bathe would be more than enough.

it's 1912. why?
