Negative CR Desired: despite his easygoing personality, figaro can be really, really sus? and is downright annoying at best. maybe a patient could point out how callous he can be at times?

Unwanted CR: any romantic relationship that goes deeper than that? he'll accept fwb but he has immense jealousy and commitment issues up the wazoo.

Day to Day Life: tending to patients at his clinic in crenshaw, sometimes doing his housecalls in anywhere he's needed. he can also be spotted making business in lumenwood for medical supplies and shit. lastly he can be found near the sea since it's calming for him.
Current Plans: just vibing for now? his bloodtype will change at some point though so he'll need to consult someone about it. also he's fussing over nehan after the guy got himself killed so there's that.
Event Plans: event toplevel! it's just the party stuff, since ive come to realize that im not rly fond of playing off aus at the moment. still open to tag-ins, however!

Positive CR Desired: I'd like to do some threads of John healing characters' injuries and ailments, teaching blood magic, and generally trying to make necromancy look respectable and cool. Also looking for buddies to dig into lore and metaplot with.

Negative CR Desired: I'd like to see some characters be alarmed by necromancy or space-opera imperialism. If the Locked Tomb kids seem to have a shitty homeworld, here's the guy to blame! John's arc will be towards worsening Corruption and hubris, with one or two big combative player plots in his future.

Unwanted CR: None! But I lean towards neg CR that has an arc or goal to it. Bonus points for positive-to-negative CR.

Summary:

Terrifying immortal space lich. Thinks puns are automatically funny. Elected himself God ten thousand years ago but still delighted by memes. Currently vibing around working miracles and being immensely vague about who and what he is; conceals simmering vindictive rage with dad jokes.

Day to Day Life:

- Spends a lot of time healing the sick and wounded with his near-limitless control over body and flesh.

- Reads a lot of books and strikes up convos about Deerington lore in the Archives.

- Generally unfazed by monsters and mayhem, but growing more and more angry about the more personally targeted and psychological-horror-based events. Really thinks the Pthumerians are out to get him personally. Intends to kill Pthumerians whenever the opportunity arises.

- Stole a wholeass pirate ship back in September. It's in the harbor, openly crewed by corpses and skeletons, which is probably fine.

Current Plans: He recently took some friends out on a sailing trip wherein he started metaphysically poking at Mariana. I am planning a followup player plot, let's ballpark April, which could cause life/death/spirit-related powers to go haywire town-wide, and could also get a Pthumerian storm to roll in. More info as we get closer.

Event Plans: None presently! He's unaffected.

Negative CR Desired: I'm very open to negative CR as well! People who are understandably creeped out by odd kids with glowing eyes. Intuitive sorts who are able to detect the Operator's eldritch origins. Unscrupulous folks for the Operator to clash with. Bystanders with whom to have unfortunate cross-canon misunderstandings. Enemies of all sorts welcome!
Unwanted CR: I'm not interested in anything beyond crushes/puppy love ship-wise

Day to Day Life: The Operator currently lives in a church dedicated to the Holy Flame, so can be found there when they aren't out and about. Since they only arrived recently, they've mostly just been exploring and people-watching, maybe doing a bit of research into Trench at the Archaic Archives.
Current Plans: Right now, I'm just focusing on having them build CR and get settled into the game. I'd also like to have them meet their Omen in the near-future!
Event Plans: January Top-Level here!

Other: I live in Taiwan and thus will keep odd hours relative to those in the US.

Cool. The wolves he has hung out with most are huge space wolves, not Earth wolves and it's implied that there aren't many left (maybe because of farmers hunting?). Some of them talk! Some he just vibes with psychically through the Force.

At any rate, he is likely to be very chill, and happy to play and explore. And be very sympathetic to a young person who is on their own and prefers to stay outside of town, since that was his situation for a long time growing up.

Canon powerlevels are kinda high and she can effortlessly rooftop hop and throw sword-like things like darts, so she very much has the skillset to pull off either on top of being quite willing to donate her blood.

Where they live: Has a single room flat hidden in both Prufrock and Crenshaw, the Crenshaw one being close to the Koz orphanage

Other close CR: Still new so she's on her own, but she's nosy and likes getting into other people's business so she'd look social...

Positive CR Desired:
-Fellow fighters, maybe on the lone wolf/shady side? I haven't done anything with her using her alt network name "vii" or monster hunting in threads, but it's what she'll use for serious inquiries into hunting/corruption/beasthood/etc and she'll absolutely put her canon Church ninja vampire hunting abilities to use.
-People who don't mind a cheerful naggy busybody in their life who would check up on how they're doing periodically. Hopefully it doesn't OOCly come across as overbearing as she absolutely can be ICly, but since she's not sure how to best "make use" of herself just yet, she won't hesitate approaching anyone who may not look well/need help.
-Maybe people who will eventually call her out on her hypocrisy? She'll do anything to take care of other people while ignoring the concept of self-care, which will definitely probably bite her in the ass in the long run.
Negative CR Desired:
-Can't think of anything, Ciel herself is difficult to genuinely make a real enemy out of/antagonize. She'll get protective of people she adopts closer CR she makes, though, and will not hesitate resorting to underhanded means to get things done.
-Anti-religious peeps welcome... Though honestly she's a pretty terrible "Christian" herself, only joined to shank vampires. Thanks, weeb Twilight...
Unwanted CR: N/A, I'm willing to give pretty much anything a shot.

Day to Day Life: Still familiarizing herself with the Trench's everything, sticking to helping out at the Koz Orphanage during the day. Patrols districts around the night and picks some low to med risk prey to hunt while she figures out what blood corruption is about, and to finance her curry addiction own living, which is mostly just food and Trench-appropriate hunting equipment that offer better protection against magical blood she otherwise wouldn't mind getting splattered in. She has no qualms getting her hands dirty for any reason.
Current Plans: Trying to figure out if she'll be more useful as a healer or hunter while doing normal people things, to the degree of almost playing Batman. She doesn't like feeling useless and living for herself is an alien concept, so she's trying to figure out how to best use herself as an asset to help out in any way she can. This is not a complex or a way to ignore her own problems, nnnnnope. She has a lot of skeletons that could be neat to rattle later on, packing massive survivor guilt and the eternal search for atonement being the real reason behind why she Tries Too Hard, but I have no immediate plan to get to those at this time.
That said, slow burn CR and steady buildup over time that develops into things I never could've guessed/predicted/knew I wanted in RP feeds my soul, so that'd be nice to build!
Event Plans: She's been RELIGIOUSLY avoiding Snake Den because snake imagery has been very bad to her in canon. Also doesn't know how to relax despite doing a good job pretending to be a normal and well-adjusted member of society, so she only passes by The Red out of a sense of obligation.

Where they live: i’m actually still unsure of this! he’s around!! shōyō is very, very social and would do well with a roommate rather than being alone, so unless anyone wants to share a roof with him, i’ll say he’s usually where the night walkers stay!
Relationship Status: single, but open to development!
Other close CR: shōyō has great respect for our l(azarus) and considers him his first friend here right along with neighborhood nerd palamedes, though he’s gained a few weapons/self defense teachers over the course of the month as well (off the top of my head: jason, paul, yuri i believe offered, and a few others that may need some more development in that direction!)

Positive CR Desired: shōyō is, again, social to the top, so it’s fairly easy to build a friendship off of him! he gravitates to quiet dudes and has a gift for chatting, so getting the positive cr isn’t that difficult. that said, i’m interested in broadening any sort of positivity that could help shōyō grow beyond his socialization: a different view on the world that requires a sense of defense and security yet not one that saps his energy away! friends, teachers, students/sports buddies to share in his passion, challenges and fellow competitive peeps, healthy rivals, flings, maybe, he’s twenty four and has never touched a date that wasn’t a match marked on his calendar. if anything manages to slip into commitment, then hell yeah i’m down
Negative CR Desired: it’s hard to hate on shōyō but he could be annoying to some. that won’t particularly put him off, either (exhibit a), but unless something was hostile enough to (events, for example!!), i’m totally down to reap that. shōyō is one of dialogue so he’s sure to come forth and try to talk, so it could be neat!
Unwanted CR: what do you mean, what cr do i not want….. blasphemy

Day to Day Life: taking care of himself!!! shōyō is a professional athlete and has not stopped his sleep schedule neither his diet or his workouts or practice for trench. he’s taken up the job as nightwalker but tends to offer a broader spectrum of activities for his clients to put off steam besides, y’know. think of him as your own personal trainer! he’ll do sports! especially volleyball! and he’ll hang with anyone for the measly price of mutual company.
Current Plans: self defense training! he’s currently got, wow, a lot of neat things! knife fighting with jason and l (with a dash of capoeira!!), spears with paul, and right at the moment that’s what i have solidified! he’s learning a lot…… now when to use it 🤔
Event Plans: he’s got fresh posts that i’m still tagging, a network post and snake den log! i’m def open to writing up closed starters for those interested in training, sports, a nightwalker date/session, or casual run-ins, or . . . why not shōyō’s first monster!

You know the more I think about it the more I realize that she would probably be a really great bartender once somebody actually taught her how? She's definitely familiar with tavern-like atmospheres and she's comfortable in them, is cute but also takes no shit from rowdy guests, and she's ambidextrous so with a little practice she could probably do flair bartending, if someone helped her figure out how.

Or maybe they'll just run into Bigby naturally if he ever visits Junia's weird fire church. Either way, I think it'd be fun to have them meet!

Positive CR Desired: He loves collecting mentees and other academic-type older characters.
Negative CR Desired: He really believes in trial-by-fire learning, even for kids, which could net him some enemies. And I'd love to get more vampire-hunters on his ass.
Unwanted CR: I'll be picky with vampirism victims bc of CR fallout, but please do offer if you're interested in getting a character bitten.

Summary:

Eccentric headmaster of a shounen monster-hunter school. Secretly a reincarnating immortal fighting a neverending war against his goth ex-wife. Spent a year in Deerington learning to have close CR without bolting every time he feels an emotion. Regards Trench as his chill retirement, now complicated by mild vampirism.

Day to Day Life:

- Reading at the Archives and striking up convos about folklore and fairy tales.

- Encouraging kids to jump off cliffs to learn how to fall.

- Fighting monsters with a bladed walking cane and forgetting he's less tanky now that his canon powers are gone.

Current Plans: Currently dealing with Corruption + blood type effects, which let him heal by drinking Sleeper blood. He should be able to bring his current Corruption down, and idle as a latent vampire instead of an actively hungry vampire until Corruption levels rise again. But he's always tempted by Darkblood, especially when tired or injured.

Event Plans: None! He's vibing at the party and otherwise unaffected.
