Ciel is used to working solo back home too but gets saddled with troublesome company (coworkers are not exempt) just because they feel like barging in, having someone actually normal (or just human really, she was a vampire magnet in canon and has too many frenemies of that ilk...) to talk shop on top of doing Normal Waman Things with would be good for them both! Also vampire huntresses' night out at Sapphora is something I suddenly realized I need at some point or another in my life because Reasons, I'd love CR! I've been just tagging around since new, would you happen to have a TL anywhere?

...I mean. Hi I have a nun of questionable integrity as Ciel's only signed up with the Church in her canon (which is pretty much the Catholic Church) to smite heresies, mainly vampires. She's also had weird-ass coworkers including other sassy vampires who decided to work for the church because of vampire politics, so she's no stranger to odd relationships of all sorts and having to be patient through them. She's usually cheerful and nice and only gets rude with non-humans, and can absolutely put up with prickly of any form. We've heard of them good cop bad cop routines but has anyone considered good nun bad nun? Happy to help with the church maintenance too, could also be neat since they can both function as healer and hunter alike?

At most, Luz might try to reel her back in from hurting people via her pranks but might not be against having that kind of fun!

As I slowly move Luz out of her sad sack situations, a fun friend would totally be appreciated!

I do not know about Higurashi, so spoil away! As for complicated individuals...Luz lives with Varian and Fern, has befriended Darth Maul, Usagi and Falco, and knew a fair bit about Clementine from The Walking Dead before she woke.

Luz is basically knee deep in people's histories that are far worse than her own!

I haven't watched the new season but I know the old Higu v well (well. the anime at leastsldkfhj) and I know Enough about Gou. I think it'd be... like. Complicated bc Satoko COULD end on the dislike list, but also Rapunzel is super sympathetic to folks who do what they do bc of trauma? She forgives folks who have tried to kill her, her family, and take over her kingdom bc she knows so much of what they did is rooted in them being hurt and that hurt going untreated and not talked about.

WHICH IS TO SAY I AM HERE WITH IT GOING EITHER WAY and it might waffle between positive and negative, and that would be super exciting.

so uh. the big spoiler here would be that satoko hasn't been fifteen years old for a very, very long time. she's sort of an immortal time looping witch that has been trying for centuries to get her most important person to not go to the fancy girls high school? through a lot of methods, including gaslighting and repeated murder?? her canon point is just after she's given up and accepted that she can't change or fix everything, so she's a little bit less toxic, but even so it's uh. a lot. (i'd be more worried about just dumping this on you if you weren't playing from nasuverse SO)

basically: my thoughts are let's start sol and potentially go all of the above as time passes, depending on events and how things go! satoko's a lot of fun to play around with murder plots, on account of being much more amoral than she started. and also being able to loop time if she dies. and also having a fucking gun because of COURSE i requested that she keep the gun??

HONESTLY IF YOU KNOW GOU YOU KNOW ENOUGH FOR SATOKO... if it helps, satoko is post-canon and has actually had time to accept that she can't always get what she wants, so! it's entirely possible rapunzel wouldn't run into the whole witch issue for quite some time, events allowing!

EITHER WAY i'm absolutely down with CR that can't make up its mind, this is sort of the ideal?? watch the two of them hit it off surprisingly well right up until satoko comes back with detailed notes on the yield elasticity of a blood-crazed zealot's bones

Tagging with Hinata has already forced me to confront the horrifying lore question of if Jesus exists in the Evangelion universe so that's great but I was thinking Falco and Kaworu could be really interesting. He's also a traumatized kid (who has no idea that he's traumatized) and very little instincts of protection and just as little social graces. PLUS THEY BOTH KNOW ILLARION. SO I feel like he and Falco could be an interesting combination to throw together!

And I'm just laughing prematurely because the day there's a knifing, Chara gets to find out that isn't actually enough to dissuade her. Some of her best friends in the last game absolutely killed her at one point or another.
