But everything changes despite him and then he’s sitting on the floor of a dingy apartment flat. Everything feels slightly off and the feeling feels familiar. He had it once somewhere. He clings to that thought as he glances around for his companion he knows is somewhere around.
He calls out as he climbs slowly to his feet.] Hey, are you there? …we were going somewhere weren't we?
[That had to be it. The furniture and walls all look strange. Drab but functional. Something about that bothers him. He frowns, eyes narrowing.]
