[Yup. Okay. So, that was A Lot. Keith needed some time to take it in and process it. He was quiet for a bit, tumbling around thoughts and feelings and information in his head while attempting to sort it all out. He had no reason to believe Lance would lie to him about this, and, really, who the heck could even make something like that up? Especially the whole squid part. Like, why was that even a thing?
Keith looked down at his lap for a second, wondering if the whole squid thing was why his legs didn't want to work right.
He squeezed his eyes shut as all of that finally settled on, "...there's no way home." There had to be a way home. Sure, Keith wasn't exactly the patient type, but they'd only been outside the nightmare for four months, right? So, maybe they hadn't found it. He wasn't quite ready to accept that, yet.
Which also brought up another question. Opening his eyes again, he looked back at Lance.]
So, what makes anyone think that this isn't just another nightmare from another super powerful alien thing? [He was not going to try to say "Pthumerian" right now. It had taken him long enough to be able to remember "quintessence".]
